Thanks for posting this. I know the former owners of Colonial Crafts. It resided at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum (formerly Arden Trolley Museum) for a number of years.
I grew up in this area and train watched from many locations shown. Always wondered what traveling this region by passenger train would be like. Thanks much for this video.
You'll pardon my ignorance, but I've never heard of "Finger Lakes Railroad'. Can somebody enlighten me as to exactly where it is, the track mileage, etc? In advance...Thanks !!
They operate, conveniently, in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Their main yard is in Geneva, NY. They operate trains nearly every day and travel between Syracuse, Geneva, Canandaigua, and Watkins Glen with lots of freight traffic.
You went by the the station museum in Martisco, not Marcellus; there's no "and" in Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines; and it Kay-you-ga Lake, not Ky-uh-guh.
Great video. I was able to chase the train on both of it's trips but here's my video of it going westbound. th-cam.com/video/EwhfCB7jkt4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XBtGnEKzpXV9XWUC
Watched it in 4K and felt like I was there with you. Nicely done!
Thank you very much! :-)
