I have been looking for a way to build the 'shingle style' roofing and YOU have just shown it to me. It is not only excellent and easy but it has content that can be transferred to so many other applications. Thanks a tonne, eh !
I have used 6mm plywood, eventually the weather gets to it, but it kinda feathers in the wet weather which I think makes it look even better after a couple years. I use various types of fencing preservative to paint it. Good luck and thanks for the interest. 👍
