I looked into doing Airbnb for my house a few years ago but I decided to get a long term tenant instead. I have stayed in 3 Airbnb’s in Ghana. From my experience as with everyone Ghana you need a solid team on the ground.

I'm rooting for a certain Ghanaian TH-camr to become a Super Host and I know you are, too. Thanks for the info on earning money via AirBnB. That's actually a good income stream for those who want to live on the continent part-time. It guarantees they have a home whilst there and an income from the same home when they're away.

I happen to be a short term rental host. People prepay w their credit cards and Airbnb has insurance. U can also require a refund we deposit upfront. Also; Airbnb isn't the only short term rental platform. There are literally a dozen more. That's how I personally stay fully occupied monthly. U can also post ur place on Ghana's jiji. I personally have all my properties here in USA at high occupancy location's like the stadium area and the medical center area where it's heavily trafficked by visitors. And I never provide food to my guests but I do provide cooking ammebities

It’s definitely a good idea. I would definitely choose an Airbnb in Ghana. I stay in places all over the UK to experience different locations rather than staying in hotels. It’s definitely not the right choice for everyone though.

I’m an Airbnb super host who operates seven Airbnb unit in Dallas tx USA. New laws concerning rental arbitrage in Dallas Texas USA has made things tougher for AIRBNB host to operate in the city. I’ve been thinking of relocating to Ghana with all my Airbnb furniture and every single thing to start Airbnb in Ghana. Cost of shipping all my stuffs is -roughly $10000. New laws forced me to close six of my units and I have all the TV’s and furniture in storage and storage fee is expensive. I don’t know what to do with all these stuffs. My question is this! Is it easy to get an apartments for rental arbitrager in Accra around OSU and labone around I mean modern apartments with appliances in them already. What some of these airbnb hosts are charging per night ACCRA is the same rate we also charge per night in DALLAS TEXAS USA. 1bedroom unit is $80 per night. 2 bedrooms is $125 per night. So I believe it would be a great idea to ship my stuffs to Ghana and start my Airbnb over there. Can somebody help me answer this question.??? If I can acquire like 6 apartments easily in Accra for Airbnb. Thank you

AirBNB is great. I am about to set up
One in Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire. What we don’t know is that with one property, banks can finance you to get a second property using the first one was as collateral.

0:10 I have not viewed your channel in a long time. The last time I watched you, you were in a room adjacent to your home and you was hanging up curtain rods in one of the rooms. In December I plan on retiring. I wanted to plan a short trip to Ghana, but I know nothing about Africa other than what I read about or learn about thru TH-cam vlogers. My impression that I got from your show was that you was giving it some thought about opening your own abnb. My wife actually have a couple of condo's in the Philippines but they have been occupied for several years. She will be visiting there this November so she can check on her Mother and Family. I on the other hand wants to come to Africa. If you are doing abnb could yousend me your prices, rules and regulations. I don't smoke, and I do everything in moderation. I only eat seafood and vegetables and would be open to recommendations. Also my plans are for early 2024.

I’m honestly tired of people running their mouth all the time in the name of content. Must you people reveal all these secrets of making money in Ghana? Small Airbnb too that people they use chop small small you want to invite people to come do some here. Very soon the way you these youtubers are going, all these foreigners will come and price you out of your own land and you won’t be able to afford to live in this house that you are building. Mtswww.

Airbnb is international. Ghana is not yet a tourist destination as other tropical countries so i doubt people will be flocking there to own Airbnb because of distant from the major countries that drive that market. The major clientele is more likely other Ghanaians going home to visit.
Airbnb hosts have to be accessible to guests. The time it takes to run an Airbnb is too inconvenient for certain foreigners to invest in and property manager fee would leave a small profit. You won't see Chinese people flocking to own Airbnbs there. It requires excellent customer service to survive in the market. One bad review can put a person out of business.

In the advanced societies like Canada. Competition creates opportunities. So it worked like this. TH-camrs create content, show the world Ghana, people flock to Ghana to check out the country as well as possible business opportunities like Airbnb, they need a place to stay, some may start Airbnb some not. Most would spend most of money while in Ghana. The point is, this is not a race to the bottom rather an exposure that is so needed. TH-camrs are about to create wealth in Africa more than any government could have imagined. The lots of us deciding to relocate and invest are as a result of watching the proper media; TH-cam. Let’s learn how businesses thrive instead of how to maintain mediocrity.
