I love that the synergy between invoked and generaider is that mechaba is lv 9, for some reason.
That, and now the extra synergy that Meltdown is a starter that sits on field to trade for boss stage with AFD, which Rev + Aleister makes.
Wish Rev was anywhere near justifiable in price, I've been playing Invoked Generaider for a while as a fun deck (even before Vala/Laev, though those obv made it actually decent).

For those complaining about Yu-Gi-Oh, the Pokemon TCG just finished and it was Four turns. Keep in mind you can do virtually nothing turn 1, there is an energy system, a pseudo summon sickness mechanic, and winning is based on Pokemon knocked out and u can only attack once per turn.
Despite all those restrictions the game still ends just as fast as yugioh
...Jesus Christ I knew Pokemon's meta was horrid but I didn't realize it was THAT BAD. At least yugioh is more or less designed to play fast with a ton of interaction. Pokemon has none of that and is designed to be MUCH slower. What the hell?
@@ssjbread2803 It used to be worse, too. Tag Team GX Era was literally cancer. With the ability to use broken supporters (Green's Expedition, Lt Surge, Judge, Jessie James), self knockout abilities, and Reset Stamp turn 1, you could basically setup your board of mons, have 5-cards in hand, and force your opponent to have a win with 2 cards in hand and whatever they started with turn 1. Not to mention PikaRom, Reshizard/Welder decks, Arceus Dialga Palkia, had the ability to turbo out 3 energy to their pokemon after dealing 150 damage minimum, or in the case of Welder decks turbo out 2 energy off a supporter and draw 3 cards being 1 manual attachment away from hitting you with either a 230 damage normal attack or a 200 Damage GX attack since they can't use the same copies first attack twice in a row. I started playing later SM format til midway SwSh format and dur to the way the game is designed it tends to have a nasty snowball effect due to powercreep. And supporters like Marnie and Judge shuffling away and reseting resetting your hand to 4 cards makes strategizing with what you have irrelevant if RNG doesn't favor you. The format is less toxic now, since the dialed back powercreep a bit with rotation, but it by no means is fixed.
There's a lot of context left out of this comment. Pokemon games of course can end very quickly, but that is the exception not the norm
@@thehatcaseonyoutube Well games nowadays last longer than previous standard formats, but there's no denying that mistakes tend to have a snowball effect. Which to be fair, it's a better system in deciding skill competitvely than being completely screwed for messing up a combo, or not being allowed to play because someone completed a combo. And unlike Yugioh, you can bounce back from mistakes or less optimal play early game easier.

Just thought of a video idea. Start with a meta deck and every time you win you have to play the deck that the opponent had in the next duel. See how far you can make it. Might be fun!

I like how generaider was initially supposed to be a support archetype, acting as the big boss for other archetypes that didnt have one and in archetype was supposed to be a boss rush esque 1 at a time thing, but this deck just says oops all bosses and throws fucking 5 at you at the same time
They were never supposed to be a support archetype? The ability to use monsters of matching types was only to allow the use of support outside their archetype. No one ever played them as generic bosses

To quote the yugioh wiki “They appear to be based on miscellaneous myths and figures of Norse mythology, while also potentially being a play on the word "generic", given the use of this archetype in decks matching their type.”

That first duel he likely had Imperm or Effect Veiler in his hand as well, but because he reacted by tributing Harr instead of the other 2 he had, it dodged it. Idk if that was intentional or not but it is cool if so.

You may not see this, but as an Edopro player, I would love to see your(and friends like Dzeeff and Farfa) opinions on the different simulators out there like Edopro, Dueling book, Dueling Nexus, etc. I get the appeal of some of them, but it would be a nice change of pace and an easy/informative video to make for a newer audience
I’ve had a pretty good experience with Dueling Nexus. The UI is clean, not many obtrusive animations, and can be play off a browser (the biggest pro imo). Interaction logic and rulings seems pretty solid; of course there may be some obscure outliers. The only negative aspect is that the US servers seem prone to being down sometimes.
Omega has been my go to choice. I'd recommend it to any new player

@@Xenonfuji i honestly appreciate the minimalist design that Edopro has. It's super simple for me to see everything and activate what I need to. That said, I don't necessarily want anything flashy on my games as long as it's functional. I feel like this topic has place for a fun debate on form vs function. Do a Magical hats @mbt?
Try all of them and decide for yourself! If you simply pick a sim because a content creator likes it, then you will miss out on so many other things.

It's like ash, very format dependent. it just so happens that it has been good for a while.
Banning strong hand traps just neuters rogue decks more than anything lol
first of all the longer droll is in the game the less format dependent it becomes and we are seeing that now, secondly comparing it to ash is stupid, ash is a 1 for 1 exchange and actually requires you to think about when you use it where as droll is a turn long floodgate that shuts down more decks then ones that can actually play through it and that problem is going to become worse with time, thirdly nobody likes droll formats yes the formats it's used in are normally not the best but any format droll is introduced in makes it significantly worse and often people will blame it on what decks are good but frankly it is an issue with droll itself, it's not a fun card when it just says "end your turn" which was the reason we have maxx "c" banned mind you for it's lingering effect that can effectively shut someone down the moment they start@@josemarioperozofuenmayor3475
@@neodarkgemini5954Imagine making this argument about Maxx "C". Just because rogue decks frequently don't SS as much as meta doesn't make Maxx "C" a fair card. Horrible argument, and historically not true imo.
Every time a new powerful hand trap has come out, the meta changes to whatever decks can best resist that hand trap, which is frequently just what's already meta and any new decks that come out that are specifically designed to be resistant to it. Imo usually powerful hand traps just make rogue decks lose harder, because they usually have a much harder time playing through them. I mean, would you seriously try and argue that having Droll legal hurt Tearlament more than it hurt Rogue decks? It's a card that stops some decks in their tracks and doesn't do much against others. It doesn't matter how good the deck is, and doesn't particularly help any tier more than another.
I do understand what your saying but as a card it's much more fair than Maxx C since it effects both players. Which is rare for a hand trap to do...... But it does have the same problem of the rich get richer if your opponent uses it on you after building their bored
So... Revolution Synchron is the missing piece that makes Invoked Generaider leave the mediocre status to "that looks good for some locals," I see... Cooking good heh, Mr. MonoBlueTron!
You can also add Visas archetype the deck because you can summon amarterra with ease in this deck and every other deck that has level 4 monsters

Why 2 meltdown if RevSync + meltdown is crystalwing+ boss stage + mecaba?
cause aleister + rev will give the same results and since you don't want to brick you run less aleister in deck, there's some math behind the chance of opening two of the same card

@@danielhertz1984 Boss stage is everything for this deck. Plus you gain 1000 in time comes up. I’d cut one aleister for one meltdown, if the math is so important (also small world +1 I kurikara?+ skill drain?)

So can someone explain what makes this deck better than the Diviner version? Feels like it will get more brick hands where you don't reach boss stage thanks to the 3 revolution synchron, unless you hard draw Loptr or boss stage itself.
It's maybe not better, but it does go a little crazier. It at least gives you a better way to stop your boss stage from being Ash'd.
Ummmm easy lol. Off 1 meltdown and synchron alone you get crystal wing, boat stage, mechaba. Literally full combo with follow up because aliester back to hand means in a grind game you have a way to ensure a boss EVERY turn and it adds pressure

@@harrygaming6771 The playerbase is about 5k average daily. Edopro is about 2k max, Nexus 1k max and DB 500-1k.

MBT is the greatest creative deck creator of all time
i dont like the direction yugioh is going. The moment a card can out nibiru, the game is trash. I mean the fact that we need handtraps is shit, but them being not effective consistently is just baffling. pan omninegates, ban interactions with the opponents hand, graveyard and most importantly deck, that are consistent. this game is turning into utter garbage. why do we still "play" the game? at this point it is an opening hand simulator plus coinflip simulazor combined. If decks become as consistent as to out everything and mess up a gamestate in turn 0 that is not even to be countered by handtraps, I personally dislike that. It pains me to see my game in this state.
