(some post-editing reflections below) As I was editing this video, a lot of the moments I filmed came out way more lighthearted than how my entire process has felt. I've been chasing my dreams and my purpose for many years now. Most days have been demoralising, depressing, disappointing... on darker days I would cry myself to sleep, and sometimes I felt so angry at the universe for my "predicament" that I would be throwing imaginary fists in the air screaming "why me!" I now know that those intense feelings were driven from a desire to escape the painful situations I was going through. I just wanted a way out. And I thought if I made boat loads of money, I would be able to buy a ticket out of my pain. Oh how wrong I was. Chasing after money as a means of escape has only made me feel even more hurt. And I'm done doing that. I'm at a point in my journey where I'm embracing the lightness of each 24 hour day, allowing yesterday to roll over my back, and embracing the uncertain future of tomorrow. I'm choosing to live in the now, whilst holding space for dreams, possibilities, and adventures. My prayer is for you to find joy in the present moment, and have faith that your wildest dreams will come true! sending virtual hugs 🫂
