He is first with Xingchen in everywhere he goes but left him and hurt him in the end until Xue Yang comes (I cannot fault him though, after he went through). When the tragedy happened and he lost Xingchen, he realized everything (even it is not really his fault) as Raoul realized when Christine dies. Xue Yang (Erik the Phantom) is not meant to be with Xingchen either. Even while they have their moments of happiness with A-Qing (Gustave?) and Xingchen (Christine), it is going to end in tragedy no less. Xue Yang will be the only who feels it deeply, and he pays for that.
But like at 3:30 it fits perfectly I’m shook I don’t know why but I always felt like XY, by telling XXC all the things he did while being with him, was trying to make XXC be on his side so they could work things out together (according to XY’s twisted mentality). I believed he wanted for XXC to work the same as he used with SL but now with him, 'proving' him that being 'evil' wasn't so bad, just that he never expected XXC to be devastated to the point of suicide. So in short, I love you and your musical theatre selection 😔👌🏻
