- Kumbuka celebrated his 16th birthday in style as keepers threw him a party in Gorilla Kingdom. He got to enjoy fruit-filled birthday presents which he shared with the other gorillas. www.zsl.org

@@juliajohnson5276 Sadly Kumbuka passed away in October 2019 but he leaves behind an amazing legacy in his daughter Alika and son Gernot.

Kumbuka is very nice! I became sad while watching him looking for a true present/gift to his birthday.Maybe if I was there I could give him a plush or made by rubber animal as my gift to him,if you (ZSL) allow me to do it.Happy birthday,Kumbuka!I love you.
