I love a classic blackbook of course, but also got couple shelves full of other illustration type art, comic artists like Pat Mills, Kevin O'Neill, arcade marquee arts.. I definitely can appreciate the skill here and as you said "clever" is what i kept saying to myself too looking at a lot of these. Very clever and creative execution. Those hands, the roads, very subtle slipping his letters into the design. Love it. I'm adding this book to my Christmas want list 👌
Yes mate, definitely worth adding to the collection. Nice shout for the partnership of Mills and O'Neill too. I was a big fan of 2000AD and it's heavily influenced me. Love comic illustration.
Loving this style... Only up to the raspberries, and that one is super subtle. If didn't know you wouldn't clock the 3 letters in that berry arrangement. It's like hidden graffiti eh
