I LOVE Cab! As an animation artist, I've always loved his cartoony sensibilities. What's interesting is that this video has been up for a few years and suddenly it is getting tons of comments. I'll never understand how the TH-cam algorithm works, but it must suddenly show people certain videos when they do a search, and this one shows up more now.
9:41 Bravo! Especially to the lady who's a famous pianist, notable for her groundbreaking work as a black jazz pianist, & being the first female jazz pianist to make it as big as she did, but I forget her name. Gosh, it's on the tip of my tongue!
I saw Cab in New York (I spent 3 years there, being a math teacher in the Lycée Français), maybe in 81 or 82. I which theater? I don't remember. But I remember Cab was still swinging like he was still a young man.
@@xdrcft56 Well Willie Pratt was a fancy sweet snazzy little boy actor for everyone even for African Americans! Imagine if they had high class kid actors for the modern world to bring back the classics.
Man what happened to my people? They don't make em like this anymore! What a bunch of classy talented Black Americans!

Mister Webster was once OK.
Geil Rodger Rabbit Piano Duell
And the little boy? Has to be Sammy Davis Jr.!
Sammy was born in 1925, so he would have been 19 at the time this was filmed.
It's Willie Pratt.
