I love tech reviewers who can just appreciate and admit when something is actually great instead of nitpicking every minor flaw of something which is irrelevant. And you, my friend, just earned a sub because of your presentation and how authentic you are🤝🏾🙏🏾
WOW I was not prepared for such a professional and good review when I looked at your number of subscribers. You did a very good job and you have gained a subscriber
Purchased this speaker today I have tested it outside in a large back garden on battery power and this speaker definitely delivers for its size decent base and clarity, I haven't even had it on full only at 60% volume, with the equaliser adjusted full base and treble, mid at half way. If you plug it into a power supply then it gets a boost in volume etc, I like this feature best of both worlds. The speaker is a decent size not too small or too big and feels robust plus looks expensive you get what you pay for in the end.
I like people that give a better and good opinion about something instead of being too negative to just make people end up buying a more expensive gadget in the name of wanting an upgrade when the speaker is just fine and delivers.
Most people hat on the xtreme 3 cause tbh the sound signature is flat but I do use it’s equaliser app and the built in eq on Spotify the bass is tooo crazyyyy loved ur vid btw very raw 💪🏾
You know if the JBL Xtreme 3 is working while it is charging, so that you don't have the surprise of running out of battery and you can immediately put it on charge and it will continue to work.
This speaker comes with 75% battery charge. And as with most electronic devices, it is suggested to completely use the factory charge until it dies, then give it a full charge before using it again. There is also a JBL Portable app that allows you to rename the device, do software updates, and gives you a little control over the EQ. I love my JBL EXTREME 3, and would definitely recommend to ANY audiophile.
@@brodievd4877i know this is a late reply but xtreme 4 somewhat sucks because the sound does the same and also the design is ugly. Jbl xtreme 3 is way better since its gonna be cheaper and still kicks butt

There’s another review of the extreme 3 indicating it’s not as loud as people were thinking it’s going to be,contrary to what you are demonstrating here. Can you put it on the handlebars on a motorcycle and go 50 mph and let me know if you can hear it. You can’t hear JBL 6 going 45 mph.
To be fair, that depends entirely on your motorcycle's engine, exhaust, and how you operate a bike. But the best way to get quality sound on a motorcycle is to use music devices specifically designed for motorcycle use (like the Bluetooth speaker systems that you can mount/insert/attach to your helmet).
@@cameronstone7029 I ride a fully electric fully quiet Sondors Metacycle. I can’t hear 2 JBL flip 6’s paired together at 45 mph. I will take your advise thank you. I don’t like helmet speakers that rape my ears but I will give it a shot

I’ve been using my JBL Charge 4 for over 6 years every summer at the lake. Dropped it countless times, left it in the rain, dropped it in the water. Works great still.
I just bought this Xtreme 3 and it literally sounds almost like my Charge 5 WTH? There’s like a 20% increase in sound. That’s it. Is there something I don’t know about? It’s a big price difference, for such little sound difference. If you want a good speaker for a good price worth, get the Charge 5👍🏼.

The USB ports are only for charging. If you want to tether without using bluetooth it would be the 3.5mm jack.
Do they have a 3.5 input incase your Bluetooth or whatever ain't working?
Yes it does plus USB-A to charge your phone as well.
