By the way, those four orange fastener hole covers are very removable without destroying them with a drill. A strong; small sharply pointed prying alongside, pops them out easily.
Came here to say the same thing, it's only a clip lol. I can think of 5 non destructive ways to get that out 😂 can tell the repairers from the tear downers
I had my first one brick and die but they replaced it quickly and my second one has been perfect - and I use it a ton. Very happy overall with it and a big upgrade from the Mighty.
Thanks for the tear down! I was tempted to do this to my venty after having to send it back 5 times. I was only able to use it like 2 months outta 7 months owning it cuz of E04. Good luck to whoever owns one I’m returning it ✌️
I love teardowns! In future videos could you please point out the full air travel pathway in more detail? Where is the air intake before it travels through the bowl? Would have liked to understand more about that and the adjustable flow rate.
Love my venty, upgraded from the OG mighty and this thing is a tank. More vapor, more flavor, less harsh, incredible 15 second heat up time, this and the dynavap are my favorite. Haven’t tried ball vapes yet tho…
what were the metal balls (or whatever that was), that fell out of the heating element, when you pried out the heater out of the surrounding plastic part? and did you identify the 'flow meter' of the venty?
Hi, nice vid! I have a EO5 error after cleaning. I’ve found on Reddit that it’s caused by the iso alcohol, which I used to clean the bowl. Apparently it sits on the sensor and when heated it reads EO5, which is an error usually associated with breathing back into the vape. Mine just has this every time it heats up and was wondering if it’s possible to clean the sensor or replace it. Anyone have any ideas?😢
@@vapeguyy you should not only do tear down for solo 3 but also a tiny might I feel like the tiny might devices are probably superior when it comes to fixing them however I could be wrong. I just see tiny mights lasting so long because you can just pop in a new battery.
@@I_am_that_guy I've published the Solo 3 teardown on my website- vapeguy.com/arizer-solo-3-teardown/ I just finished recording both. It should be published in a week or two.
it looks as though the batteries are wielded into that holder so in a few years it could be a bit more of a pain than expected, its great that they are common quality batteries tho. only thing i could see breaking this thing is if one of those leak in like 5 years
Super interesting, thank for doing this. Personally I think it's nuts that for this price you're getting something nearly completely made of plastic. The aesthetics of the device are just hideous, they really need to hire an industrial designer and not leave the design to a mechanical engineer. It looks like a tazer from 1989. The vapor path is really not great either. The construction of the tinymight 2 is far superior imo. Way better materials, way better vapor path, way better looking, simpler design.
@@vapeguyy Came here to comment this exact thing 😂 (as long as you actually have it a proper life, and dispose the various parts properly instead of just dumping them straight into the garbage)
Those are just regular off-the-shelf batteries. It's absolutely unacceptable that they're not easily user-replaceable like most box mods. Vape batteries really don't have a long lifespan and need to be replaced fairly regularly depending on how often you vape and how high your power is (ex, my box mod hovers around 130-180 watts depending on my what coil I have running.... I have 3 pairs of batteries that I cycle through..... I buy new batteries every few years). Also, it's nice to carry around a pair of fresh batteries so I can just reload to full battery charge quickly instead of waiting for a charge in the middle of the day. I will never buy this herb vape now that I know this. This design is extremely wasteful.
Thank you so much for this Amazing vid bro ! Could you please also teardown the fenix neo (European rebrand) or Puri5 Titanic-4 (US rebrand). It is an interesting new china vap, but an old tear down vid from a predecessor ( th-cam.com/video/ROpoMpuaRNo/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared ) shows that an internal polyamid tape is outgassing. Unhealthy 🤮!
My Venty never worked, sent it back in they sent me back another broken one. Sent the second one back for a refund and they kept it and never sent me a refund. Great company if you ask me.

Good idea, sure
For $500 warranty should be back at 10 years.Already third Venty e04 with no drops straight out the box.
Mine is still going strong
Kudos , Vape Guy . You are the best since Bud the one & only Vape Critic !

It's an amazing vape. So consistent.
Why do you destroy and dont desolder the parts?
I just discovered your channel and love it! Keep it up - can;t wait for the TM2 teardown!
Welcome aboard! Coming soon!
what were the metal balls (or whatever that was), that fell out of the heating element, when you pried out the heater out of the surrounding plastic part?

Are the batteries as easy to replace as the mighty? Looks like they are still tabbed 18650s
Hi, could you please let me know the model and brand of the circuit board or the CB marking?
Great video and I’m looking forward to the next teardowns. can you please share the model of the batteries as well?
How does Venty measure the airflow? Didn't see a direct way to measure it.
Wow thanks for that very detailed teardown! Do you have an idea what the red button on the back of the plate is for? or is it not a button? at 7:13
The bottom on and off
I would love to see durability tests, vs say the og mighty. I had my og mighty 8 years now and venty comes monday but ive heard its less drop proof

Hate it when companies make things unable to be repaired or fixed
It's pretty fixable other than these four orange plastic covers
@@vapeguyyI was just gonna say too that it’s actually a pretty fixable vape considering all you loose is those covers if you do.

Thanks for the teardown! Helps a lot in deciding which vape to buy. Do you happen to know how does the air come into the heating element?
When I was a kid I would take my dad’s cameras apart much in the same way.
Capacitor 😂

I have an E05 problem right now smh
They made a much simpler heater, a simpler chasis, a simpler battery holder….and they raised the price 😂😂 epic move 😂
classic😂

You should consider doing reviews like this with other industries could be a 1m sub channel with your style
A review of the LOBO VAPE I think it is the best vape but there are not many reviews as impartial as the ones you do
0:15 Ehhh according to that graph about 80% of your audience was certainly born after 1998 ...
i need parts off that u wanna sell it
Wish external batteries was the meta for dry herb vapes.
@barnumcapote8215 For real. That's the 1st thing to fail also give you the option to battery swap during a big sesh.
That was unbelievable in a good
how much u want for all venty parts haha ? :D
My Venty has a lose case from the factory. Shame because its the best vapor.ive ever had
Tried contacting S&B?
Place I bought it from is gonna sort me out :)
For as large as the venty is they should have used 21700 batteries.
Idk why this channel isn't popular. Liking and commenting to help with the Al gore ithm. 😅
u da best! It's getting there ;)
Thanks for the video, this is why i stay far away from electric vapes. Cheers

S&B is kidding us with their continued use of plastic. I also dont believe aluminium does not offgass.

WOW. There is insane margin in this product. Im sorry I cannot pay you the sucker tax
Learn to desolder its better than cutting. Nice design right. They know how to make good vapes
Why are you taking things apart? Do you like to break things? . Seems like you'd waste a lot of money breaking all these devices

I'd struggle to recommend the venty if it where $100 so best in the world is a wild statement
I see (or hear) what you're trying to do with the audio but it doesn't work it sounds horrible, pls find a better way to do this.
Yes this video had a filter applied that messed it up. The newer videos are good

funny a 500$ vape has 4$ batteries in it...?
And is essentially an enail with an aluminum housing wrapped in plastic 😂😂😂
Too bad they couldn't afford a battery cover on the back though so they could be user removable
A $50k Tesla also has the same batteries in it. It doesn't mean anything
Long as you're not buying Samsung refrigerators or washers and dryers you should be fine.
Plastic:(
