Have had my Bostig conversion since summer 2019 and it was worth every penny and every turn of the wrench! If I ever own another Vanagon, the first step will be a Bostig conversion.
Great video. I have one in my '86 Syncro and it is super easy to work on. Tons of room in the engine compartment. Still have a Boston Bob engine in my VW Thing and it runs like a top.
Well i just moved to Rhode Island two weeks ago and just blown my head gasket on my late 1982 (watercooled) vanagon. I think the time has come to look into a more reliable option. I hope this is it
Hi. My wife and I live in Bristol. We’re importing out ‘88 from the UK arriving next week. Not sure if you’re already part of an RI but I won’t to get to know enthusiasts in the area. Will also be consider a bostig. How did you know the gasket went/ was going? Curious.
Best conversion ever! Easy DIY install, I did six of them. Parts readily available, simple to work on. Highly recommend!
