Hi guys! My thoughts about Reforged. I like models of units and heroes, but terrain palletes, trees and colours are terrible. Anyway i like to zoom everything to see beautiful figures.
The colours are terrible? But they look the same as the original W3?....
I haven't run into to any glitches or bugs yet, except for slight menu issue but that's its. I love the the new models

dont you think the models would have been even better if they kept the old ones but upgraded their details?
plus they kept the old voices/sounds they make but it doesnt fit the way they move, die etc anymore, its really stupid...
The colors look muted and drab compared to the original game so they are really not an upgrade. Lighting and fog also look terrible
3 peasants is the only way to play without freezes

"Entire army" is maximum 4 units attack the farm at the same time. Onset level is little bit higher then in an Assassins Creed

@ながとやひこ さげ ahem clarity potions plus the workers would not be able to repair the towers while the blizzard is working. It deals full damage to 4 targets which would be perfect for workers+towers.

@@TabalugaDragon Оценка на самом деле далеко не оптимальная, я бы не сказал что игра переделана настолько плохо, скорее дело в разочаровании людей, которые думали что Близзард в этот раз действительно что-то полезное добавят.
@@Azuressunset согласен, и игра была бы не так плоха, но вот негатив от того, что они удалили старую версию игры(оставив только графику) слишком велик, чтобы давать рефорджу оценки выше, как я считаю. Если бы они не тронули старую версию, если бы в старой версии до сих пор работали тысячи кастомных карт, сделанных за 18 лет Blizzard не ненавидело бы столько людей. А так и новая игра вышла недоделанной(плюс вырвиглазный во многих случаях дизайн, имхо) и старую сломали. Из-за чего и столько ненависти и нулевые оценки от людей, включая от меня. Как отдельной игре я бы дал рефорджу 4 или даже 5 из 10, но как замена старому warcraft 3 это позор и вообще не стоит всех проделанных усилий.

Goddamn, it's supposed to be a remaster and yet there's little improvement for the AI, it still behaves just as stupidly it's hilarious
its a downgrade, nothing got improved but features got removed

Meanwhile blizz can't even update a 20 year old ai to destroy a single farm repaired by 2 peasants
@@slenderr3521 Someone already disproved the "1 definitive edition vs 7 original A, everytimeI" claim, but the definitive edition AI was still a huge improvement compared to the original AI.

it's just that the AI is not meant to deal with such, well, unusual strategies, it's actually pretty tough if you play normally

Yes Reforged is bad on many different aspects, but please don't spread hate, it won't help our beloved classic game of 2002 in any way, it only brings bad image to it. If there is a low chance Blizzard will listen to constructive criticism then there is even less chance they will listen to hate.

Seems this is the only case (computer randomly get human and decided to use paladin) that works. Other cases like orc uses burrows + peons, night elf uses archer, undead uses death coil, impale, carrion swarm, lich, or human uses archmage, blood mage, storm bolt. All these will give quite some ranged attack and likely to kill one of your peasant, and this balance will collapse.
Remember Super AI in DotA 2? (TI8-9 chapmpions got clearly kicked-ass by it) I think, if there was Super AI in WC3, no human being could ever win it. Nobody, but FunnyWarcraft3 with worker only units xD

The new sounds are terrible. What sucks is they added all these new sounds for certain units, and it's clear to me they only added them in to fit the new animations they did for the redone models, which I'm also not a fan of. This is bad, because it means regardless what mode you use in Reforged, you're always going to have mismatched sounds that don't fit the animation. They didn't seem to consider this mismatch at all, or they knew about it, but chose to ignore it.
A good example is the footmen and peasants dying in this video. Ignoring the quality of the new sounds themselves, when they use the new sounds, they at least somewhat fit the animation of what you see in the death animation. But because there are numerous death sounds with the new sounds outnumbering the old sounds, this means when the old original peasant or footmen death sounds play when you're in the reforged mode, the sounds don't fit the animation at all, and you'll hear the mismatched audio like a corpse dropping its sword or something like that.
In Classic mode, it means you'll hear the new sounds with the original animations, and it obviously won't fit the animation at all either, but because there are lots of new sounds, you'll notice this more often in Classic mode than in Reforged mode.
There's also a host of other new sounds that I don't particularly like either, crypt fiend attacks, troll axe throwing to name a couple. Also, the creep snoring sound is obnoxiously loud.

анимация починки здания рабочим и анимация атаки по зданию рабочим отличается только скоростью ударов топором - если рабочий быстро бьет по зданию топором, значит он его чинит, а если медленно - значит атакует, довольно забавно
