Loving that you're mixing a bit of modern with all the harshness of the historic indigenous. Right on man, right on. Gutted that my hols are nearly up. Won't be able to binge watch hehehe🐟🍵
My favorite outdoor channel. I like how for each place you visit, you list forage plants and game, positives and negatives of each. You work it right into your commentary. It serves as a reference to future outdoorsmen in each region. For plants, you discuss gastrointestinal effects, availability, likely habitat. For game the same.
In my opinion the breaded woodsmen is the greatest survival nature show ever! NO BS AND I HOPE BOB HENSLER HAS A SPEEDY RECOVERY SO HE CAN BE BACK AT IT MAKING VIDEOS
Hanging out deep in the Boreal ; my fave W.B. vids ! Tough to pack light , even on subsequent trips after we supposedly learned our lesson . It's our natural tendency to wanna bring all the comforts of home , and it takes a little determination to leave some of that baggage behind . The good news is that we really can still " have our cake and eat it ", with a little bit of extra thought and planning . With that said , thanks Chris for hauling around the extra weight in filming gear so we could see true Canadian wilderness in all it's splendor . Cheers !
You're 100% right. It's work to sacrifice...but next time, I'd just do super dried out foods, the fishing there is fantastic...no need for anything fancy!
Loving this playlist mayn. Just moved up from a small hamlet with woodlands at my doorstep, to a big city to start university and watching these videos reminds me of home! Keep it up mate, love from England
This is why I love this channel! Always full of adventures and always a sneak peak at the start! Thank you for always being there for me!! Have a great day! Cheers, Bear
GOT MY SHIRT TODAY! 👍🏼👍🏼 My Mom & Daughter got a good laugh reading the back. “He’s EATEN, ALLL this stuff?? He hasnt eaten all of this ?! No no no” 😂😂😂😂😂👌🏼 Love be olive green color & it came super fast !
I made deep fried catfish, dredged with an egg/mayonaise mix, then breaded with cajun corn flour, seasoned french fries and fresh peas. My family LOVED it!
Such great content man. I'm glad you're getting sponsorships and ads. Your channel follows by one of your sayings, "We aren't out here surviving, we're out here thriving."
This looks like a fantastic vacation spot. Thanks again for the fantastic video and all of the behind the scenes work that goes into making these episodes.
Hi ya WB! This is my second watch, and while Jeremy was eating oatmeal and when u guys were eating the fish, I so wanted to to go through the phone and go for a swim, that fish looks tasty, enjoyed it WB. Thank u
cool you and jeremy are out together again. i really like it when the 2 of you do things together! i thumbed it up & loved video! now i have seen, thumbed-up and enjoyed every single video on your channel all the way back to the very 1st one and i have the new video notification on to see all your new videos! i love them! i also watched every single video in it's entirety too! thanks!
Your references to the Hydson Bay Co.takes me back to my childhood. My mother had some Hudson Bay blankets that she bought up in Canada back in the day.( My parents fished Red Lake way back when)Your emphasizing the correct pronunciation ( Portag'e, not portage) is a running noke between me and my son.We now use that term in a bunch of different ways ( Not mentioning any names lol) Forgive my ignorance as I have never eaten Northern Pike, but it seems universally not as desired as Walleye, Trout, etc.I know one thing, it doesn't get any better than breaded and fried Walleye. My late mother's favorite fish to catch and eat hands down.Great video as always..
Awesome video once again, Love those walleye fillets, wish I had more of those in my region. The white fillets looked amazing and over the fire really looks like an amazing trip. Great work.
Holly smokes,I've never wanted fish and chips so badly and I'm an American! Dig how you don't care if people subscribe or not, one reason I did. You keep postin' , ill keep watchin'!
living life to the fullest that is what it is all about; no bugs, beautiful weather, lots of fish what a trip; I always tie my paddles in the boat rod and net too; catch and cook leeches mmmm 👍 thumbs up

Man you make me even more depressed about the fact that I'm allergic to fish and shellfish. I miss my fish and oysters on crackers among other things.... Still love the videos! I must live vicariously through you.
Wow...the Voyageurs would have probably been eating some Pemmican! What happened, as I did not see you guys make, or eat any Pemmican? When made with Suet it lasts forever, and can have blueberries and meat mixed in, along with seeds, so a great high energy food!!
With filleting fish if you don't cut the tail all the way off once your past the second dorsal u can then use the whole fish to pull back on when your taking the skin off hope this makes sense
If you want crispy fries you need to double fry them. Fry them once to cook them then take them out and let them cool then fry them a second time and they will be super crispy.
I've been to Nopiming Provincial Park in Manitoba which is south west of Wooland Caribou Provincial Park same kind of terrain. Great walleye fishing. Gem Lake and Flintstone Lake..

Pike is as good as walleye...our running joke of course. Many people try to disagree but can't tell the difference side-by-side!
Awesome video once again, Love those walleye fillets, wish I had more of those in my region. The white fillets looked amazing and over the fire really looks like an amazing trip. Great work.

I've had my ridge wallet for 3 years now..!! Love that wallet. Worth every penny..!!!!
If you crushed some of those bunchberries, and mixed them with some salt and pepper, it would have made a nice ketchup for your fish & chips.
I really want to see a group of Canadian outdoors men (ex: wooded beardsman , joe Robinet and all the buddy’s) do a competition like two teams doing the wlc and which ever team weighs out more then they came in combined wins

Wonder if Woodbeard has ever had any scary, unexplainable things happen out in the woods at night. That's be a good video, telling the story.
Nope!
I have a great time watching ur vids thanks for another great one 👍
If you want crispy fries you need to double fry them. Fry them once to cook them then take them out and let them cool then fry them a second time and they will be super crispy.
Good idea!

I live for your videos. Keep it up
