Installing a KILLSWITCH with a TETHER on a dirtbike (DRZ125)

  • Installing a Killswitch with a Tether to a 2003 Suzuki DRZ125l. This is a simple job that can be done in a very short time. I used bullet male and female connectors to wire in the switch. This will make it easier if I decide to remove the switch later on.
    This tether will turn the engine off if the the rider wearing it falls off the motorcycle. Many racing organizations require the motorcycle to have on to pass technical inspections

      It's a pretty simple swap. Some racing organizations require them. This was my first time installing one.

    The kill siwtch in my bike it’s on/off toggle, Can I replace with a momentary push buttom?

      I'm not really sure on that. There's a lot of different electrical setups with kill switches. It might work though..
