- Moonlight in Vermont Barbuti Pete 1978
Pete Barbuti plays the accordeon in one of the Peter Appleyard Jazz Shows in 1978
Pete Barbuti lives in Las Vegas where he can frequently be found working any one of the strip hotels and although based there, Pete maintains a high national visibility by working clubs, conventions and fairs all across the United States and Canada and is famous for his hundreds of appearances on television talk shows.
Pete conducts a comedy "workshop" seminar in Las Vegas where he tutors young comics in the art of working both in concert and on television.
He played more than the cordeen. he was a consummate and skilled musician. superb entertainer.
I was just watching a Norm McDonald bit and he mentions Pete Barbuti. I have not seen or thought about this guy for 40 years. WoW the magic of You Tube.
Nice sounding box.
“I brung the old cordine out here”....an underrated comedic and musical talent!! Musicians LOVE this guy!!
Every video must have its "underrated" comment. TH-cam law.
@@JiveDadson your comment is underrated
I gigged with Pete. Now I put "Chopsticks" in everything.
In spite of his clowning, it takes a very competent musician to pull off what he did with such expert comic timing and make it sound great!
This Gentleman is still alive ! live in VEGAS & MIND is SHARP as ever! great guy!
Are you serious? That's Great!
if you see this and you see him again, tell him Norman Elliott's Daughter says hello
Bravo! 👏
Nice job, Pete Barbuti!!!! Hope to see you in Vegas in 2021, If we are allowed to leave our dungeons!!!
"Niagra, niagra from the American side." I died XD
This is my great great great grandpa
Chopsticks cameo on the bridge is BRILLIANT!
The drummer is Alex Lazaroff. Also Bob Price is on bass and Norm Amadio on piano.
Really nice rendition of Moonlight in Vermont
His music is as good as his comedy, great job, thanks
He is great! I always have enjoyed his routines! 😃
This was taped at the Brunswick Tavern, upstairs at Albert's Hall, in Toronto.
One of the funniest comedians ever.
The playing on Moonlight in VT reminds me of Toots Thielman.
So funny, then so beautiful ❤
This is beaUtiful!
Bravo!
"Shouldn't it be louder?" LOL!
“Boeing 727 B-flat”....😀😀😀😀
gotta dig Pete
he really plays at 2:30. then the comedy sneaks back in!
Every time he was on J. Carson, he killed...
He's excellent. I should sound as bad on anything
Victor Borge with fewer keys?
And he finished a song.
Anyone know who the drummer is? He looks like the drummer on the Charlie Parker video of Hot house...anybody?
'Shouldnt it be louder?'
What?
the drummer on the charlie parker video of hot house is ridiculous
yeahman
That’s what I’m talking about
