This line, "Me pitaji ke saath rehta hu. Pitaji akele rehte Hai." is actually soo deep. Most people don't get it. It isn't something to be laughed at. There's lots of depth and emotion and a hint of sorrow and sadness there. Soo amazing.

I still remember that day when I was watching a Stree in theatre and people literally taking his name on his entry. Like, "dekh dekh Pankaj ki entry hui."

good boy ss At first fact checking - constitution doesn't include English in 8th schedule language list, though I agree that English is a connective language and help all people from all direction of the country to communicate, secondly she represent Hindi cinema not Indian cinema in which other languages like Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati also come into picture, she even don't interview anybody from southern cinema, Baradwaj Rangan sir is doing it on FC South, even her best buddy Karan johar has given interview regarding 2.0 and bahuballi to Rangan sir, so when you people give BS about mother tongue and all, yeah Hindi is not the national language of this country but Hindi is the language of the industry which she is part of.

Pankaj Tripathi is a good or even a great actor before being a filmstar. That's why everyone respects him, he is the master of his craft. Plus, most importantly he is a well trained theatre actor, that's one of the reasons why his acting seems so polished and real.
Everyone is talking about Pankaj ji but we also need to appreciate Anupama for her graceful ,sweet and respectful demeanour towards her guests. She knows how to handle the celebrities and lets them speak without any domination or assumptions.

Usually i don't watch any interviews of any movie star but once i accidentally watch his full video and my mind get blown by his simple take on life and after that i watched his every interview.

I couldn't not have said it any better. I have always avoided Hindi movies but I started with Wasseypur and Pankaj and Nawaz really stood out. Now, I am a fan of both and although I still avoid the Karan Johar type of flicks , I follow these two avidly.
Yaar I have become a huge fan of this guy... Not only he is an outclass actor but amazing truthful human being. He never just rushed in to answering anything. Lots of love from Pakistan.

I had the opportunity to meet(kind of)him near mandi house in new delhi. There is a ndmc shop just in front of himachal bhawan. It was a cold winter and i saw him standing just a couple of meters away from the shop. To be honest I didn’t know his name but instantly i said to my friend,” vo dekh sultan”.
For a split second our eyes met. I smiled towards him and he smiled back.
I didn’t approach him though he was alone.

Dear FC, as a non Indian viewer, it really don't matter to us that the interview was conducted in Hindi. Pankajji looked really comfortable speaking his lauguage and make everyone laugh. If Indian actors want to do interviews in hindi, they should be able to do it. It's only logical as it's their first language. But next time, please please humble request put captions. I've waited for this interview a lot and I've understand only (3/5) of this interview from the few words that I've learned from years of watching indian movies.
Consider that Indian movies and your channel are appreciated outside of India.
Othet than that, the few that I've understand, I love it. He is a great actor and what a personality.

I love that he doesn't sound overly diplomatic when he talks. He's someone that is humble yet confident in who he is, and very open about what he does, and why he does it. I'm not fluent in hindi, it's not my first language, but just through his voice I can hear more honesty than many of these actors who are (or, atleast claim to be lol) fluent in English.

School ke hindi class ki yaad aa gayi. Apart from what he saying, I was focusing on his choice of words. He was not just speaking in hindi but almost also pure hindi and not using urdu/hindustani words. So refreshing. Makes me feel bad, how easily i have let Hinglish take over and now i cannot go back to conversing in hindi without couple of english words here and there.

What an Actor! He takes his craft so seriously and performs with so much honesty. I loved him in Newton, even more than Rajkumar. Most of these Bollywood big names should take lessons from such a method Actor. All these 8 pack buffoons should lose their vanity and invest in actual Acting lessons. People want to see more of reality reflected on screen.

I came across this interview (watching from California) today and I could not tear myself away from Mr. Tripathi’s answers. Ever since his portrayal of Sultan’s character to his most recent performance as a taxi driver in Mimi, he brings justice to the characters he portrays. The man is totally believable. What a gem to the Hindi film industry. After the late Dilip Kumar Saab, Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpai, Farhan Akhtar to name a few, are bringing realism to Hindi cinema and may they live long and prosper. 👍🙏
