I live just outside Nashville. I have worked in the media business for 33 years. I don't understand what happen here, but Larry recorded where my youngest sister graduated from college, MTSU. I have not kept up with Larry since my early to mid 20s. I am 50 now. I really want to drive down and meet him. I am 50% Italian, 50% something else and the White Kids mock and made fun of me. Larry & The Bar-Kays were my rebellion against bulling of white boys & girls, their music helped me as a teenager.
@kljohnson43 sorry to hear that, man. Sorry for you and yours and sorry to learn about this (if it is true) about Larry Dodson. Fame--or lack thereof--can have weird "side-effects". Also, if you have to eat and support your team and have no where to turn (you think) sometimes you will resort to promising on things you cannot deliver. But the difference between "cannot" and "will not" is the differentiation of a good person verses a scammer. Also, sometimes a "tell" of a scammer is the promotion of their "charity" work, working with children and their Spiritual work. Sorry to say that many scammers use "The Church" to find naive, "targets".
Also as a heads-up, you may want to correct by re-writing your descriptor for your channel. The omission of an apostrophe makes all the difference, bro ;)
