This did turn off the DEL, but also disabled the high beam.

Hi guys, thx for your videos, related to those lights, mine is not well orientated and it is causing troubles (for periodic control :) ) do you know HOW TO deal with it ? seems that the screw holes are ko on mine (nothing moving from what I see) and the moving of the little yhing inside did not changed anything. I am thinking about buying another, after attempting to dissamble it without success

Pin B works on my 2010 VW beetle
Pin B worked for my 2007 new beetle. However, I wanted to change the original DRL making it turn on the lights (not low or high beam, nor the fog lights) without enlightening the whole dash...but it seems impossible (at least with the wiring coming to this switch).
Any clue if and how I can achieve that?

The Australian model didnt come with daytime running lights. Is there a way to turn them on?

This is a godsend. I've been annoyed by the DRL for a while. Mostly, because they're only required in Canada from what I know and I'm in California where they serve no purpose.
what'sthe point of the electrical tape. where did it go?
The purpose is not to make contact with the connector pin. Another option to bend it.
Mine did not disable 😢it did actually nothing
Remember the warning message at the end of the video. For the years 1998-2000, the pin used is the TFL and 2001+ it is necessary to use pin B.

El euroswitch ya no tiene esa terminal y al quitar el freno de mano sigue prendiendo los faros, alguien sabe la solución?
Intenta con el terminal TFL. Dependiendo del año se usa el B o el TFL.

Si están todo el tiempo prendidas con el Daytime Running Light (DRL) si se pueden fundir. La idea de este procedimiento es alargar su vida útil.

In 2000 is the TFL pin, not B. I have a 2000 too.
Bs, tape breaks and bend or cut wire does nothing beware
