- The Wara Wara no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and manipulate straw at will, with the straw having damage-redirecting properties. It was eaten by Basil Hawkins. The fruit's main ability is the capacity to create and manipulate straw, which seems to have a broad variety of applications.
As a more advanced technique, the user is also capable of creating small straw dolls and storing them inside their body. Each doll, through unknown means, can be linked to and represents another person akin to a voodoo doll. Consequently, if the user is injured in any way, the damage is instead transferred to a given doll and in turn whichever person it represents. This allows the user to easily survive and recover from multiple life-threatening injuries if they have enough dolls in store, making them difficult to defeat.

Honestly, among of all Supernovas, he's the most wasted ever since he works with Kaido. But, we haven't seen much of that flying guy and also Booney.
Bonney is an important character in Egghead arc, now the only supernova that didn't play a major role yet is Urouge

I would like to point out that hawkins uses a real tarot card spread, the zodiac spread to see his chances of winning
When Hawkins first came out and showed his giant voodoo doll in Sabaody, many thought this was a mythical Zoan and look how dissapointed most of us were. In fact, the entire Wano Arc was a huge dissapointment.
1. X-Drake was too easily defeated.
2. Hawkins fruit was too nerfed... simply a straw fruit...
3. We didn't get to see Zoro backstory unlike Sanji, we got to know in WCI.
4. We still don't know who was the lurking legend.
We already know zoro backstory
I said the same thing, especially the 1st! In Sabaody , X-Drake easily blocked massive Urogue and Killer (who later fight against Kaido and Big Mom), but he couldn't win a single fight as an ancient zoan with a hybrid form.
The lurking legend is obviously in wano arc we just dont know who it is honestly… it could’ve literally been anyone, maybe even the guy who looked like zoro’s father but ended up not being him. Literally any character
Why don't he voodoo his enemies, so that the enemies attack him, they hurt themself
Isn't it implied that he has to actually make the straw dolls and give them to his crewmates before battles, so if he gets attacked, crewmate possessing a doll gets damaged instead? That's how I understood it. So basically, he can't force an enemy to have a doll on their person

I don't like him, his devil fruit itself was okay, but its abilities combined with tarot cards are weird. I just don't really like how it works tho. The voodoo dolls, there's no explanation of how it linked to another person in the first place. Random person just got injured out of nowhere by that voodoo dolls.
