Hi! I have natural, no color, no bleach dark brown with some gray starting to grow in throughout 😢, 3b/3c curly hair. It's long and all one length. Can anyone give me some ideas as to what to try wit my hair. I'm bored with it and since I'm starting to get gray's which I hate (my family goes gray early unfortunately.) I would greatly appreciate any help, ideas, etc...
@@BanaDoyabad I would go with something semi permanent (so it washes out over time but still covers grey) make sure you go to someone who has lots of experience with natural hair. Maybe put some Auburn in it with a diva cut. Personally it’s one of my favorite looks on natural hair.
Hair Buddha: Did you learn anything from this video? Me: I learned plenty. Don't put glue on your face. Don't put dye on your eyebrows. Don't squeeze talcum powder into your eyes. Don't use a carrier when dyeing your hair. Don't hit yourself with a hairbrush Don't cut the sides of your hair so you look like you have sideburns. Don't use the clippers without a guard on. If you DO decide to do any of these things, upload it to TH-cam or TikTok so Hair Buddha can have a good laugh! 😆✌🏻👍🏻
The cut rags for curlers are far from a new technique! It goes back to Victorian times. I remember me and my friends doing it at sleepovers in the 80s.
hey Hair Buddha, Can you please make a video for men, how to care for a beard. so how to make the beard nice and less scratchy? (if you haven't already, it would be nice for my brothers 💜) have an awesome day and thanks for the video 💙🌷💐🌻
I love it when you laugh. Oh man, I feel really sorry for some when I think about having to take to the streets with such a result. I would bury myself
As someone who is very into skincare DO NOT PUT GLUE ON YOUR FACE. There is no reason to use either of those ingredients the way they did. Charcoal doesn't "detoxify" anything. If you want to absorb oil, just use a regular clay mask. The glue drying on your skin is way too harsh and you will give yourself wrinkles or scars with all that ripping and tugging. If you want to reveal newer skin, get a gentle leave-on exfoliant with AHA and BHA.
Youre right about the glue, but I beg to differ about the charcoal. It does detoxify skin to a degree... thats why they give charcoal to patients overdosing on opiates, benzodiazepines, or alcohol.
My grandmother use to put my hair in rags like the first girl when I was a kid. I hated it. It was like sleeping on rocks. It’s a very old way of curling your hair. lol 😂
6:16 She's using a technique from just before heated curling irons were a thing. I'm surprised she got it that curly, because usually the curls end up a lot less dense! When done right, it looks pretty nice
I've always been confused by them. If I remember my 6th grade report correctly Shirley temple had rag curls. I tried them once like 10 years ago but had a situation like her where they curled too much. After doing dry curls I'm tempted to try that way and see what happens.
My mother had stick straight hair and did her hair in rag curls all the time in her youth (1940s). That’s how Shirley Temple got her ringlets. It’s how they used to do those sausage curls. There is a technique to it however and you have to take the texture of your hair into account.
HAIR BUDDHA I BLEACHED AND DYED MY FRIEND’S HAIR TODAY AND IT CAME OUT GREAT!!! sections, smaller thin sections while bleaching, start from the back, lengths then roots, GLOVES, and a responsible 20 vol developer :) also, specifically NO QUICK BLUE (though I did consider it as a little laugh) i feel so proud of how it came out and my friend loves their hair and giving someone confidence was a feeling I want to chase when I get out of high school and pursue a cosmetology degree. Couldn’t have done it without you and Brad Mondo!
We need that unedited lagging sections hahaha. I mean this in a nice way, you’re very handsome with your glasses off. The whole powder thing got me, made it worse when you started to laugh. Think I forgot how to breathe for sec haha!!!
I never bleached my hair but thanks your videos I learnt it's one of the hardest part to do because you have to know perfectly how are your hair, the steps to do for bleaching and then the knowledge of the pigments you need or don't need to have...I didn't expect it was so complicated
Love watching hair fail videos. That help me to stay away from my blonde hair (bleached, naturally dark brown) and focus on my hairdresser appointment that is coming soon :D best prevention-from-doing-my-bleached-hair-on-my-own method ever :D
Dear Hair Buddha, I adore your videos ❤ You helped immensely to be on the right way towards healthy hair, finally ❤ Thank you, your work is far more useful and helpful than you may think ❤❤❤
That curling method with the cut up cloth is really, really old and is called rag curls. My mom did it to my hair and I did it to my daughters and if you do it correctly, it looks like a fresh spiral perm.
I think I've watched and re-watched all your videos! Must say my favorite two: 1) The Italian guy gives himself a bowl cut and says LA,LA,LA...and, #2) This guy with the powder in the eye! Thanks for making me cry with laughter!! 😂❤
I used to color pink markers over yellow markers all the time as a kid bc it was one of my favorite colors. really convenient because its super easy to get that color pink in my hair with one bleach no toner

"but it's nice" they were just trying to console this girl whose hair got messed up 😂
Totally, her hair was fried and the color... Poor girl🥺
I had a really shitty day today. And watching Hairbuddha have Schadenfreude for other people saved my good mood.
Schadenfreude 😂
That was awesome! I needed a good laugh
5:36 I love his genuine reactions and laughter. This guy is so adorable!
For really bright colours, wigs seem like SUCH a better idea!
I don’t think there is anything more enjoyable than seeing someone have genuine joy and laughter
Lol, that baby powder broke our Buddha.
Omg hair Buddha’s laugh is infectious!! The baby powder laughing was making me hysterical!!!😂
6:22 HAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!!! Thank you Hair Buddha you made my day 😁❤!
I like his mustache
Thank you

I used to use rags for my hair.
My mother used to do it as child in the 40s.
It can work if you wrap them correctly, and not do too fine of sections.
That’s right my mom who was born in 1925 use to curl her hair that way .
I outline my eyebrows in vaseline before I dye them. Works pretty well.

I'm coming back to this video every now and then to have a good laugh at your reaction to the guy with baby powder 🤣🤣🤣
I am in a great deal of pain so this helped a bit. To laugh is always good, thank you!
I'm sorry to hear that your in pain.
I love it when you laugh. Oh man, I feel really sorry for some when I think about having to take to the streets with such a result. I would bury myself

Yep, I remember my mother trying to do my hair in rag curls once. It looked ridiculous.
I was searching the comments to see if anyone else had suffered through rag curls as a child after he said it was a new technique 😅
@@maitheforcebewithyou3265 Oh yes indeed I suffered it. Lol every Saturday night for mass on Sunday morning! Lol 😂
@@maitheforcebewithyou3265 Actually the Victorians use this method too. It’s a very old way to curl the hair.
My mom did the rags too on me and my sister. She just braided our hair with the rags so it turned out wavy.
I love the tik tok fails! What a great way to start my Week!Have a safe and blessed week everybody!☺🙏✂
Going back through hair Buddha videos to cheer me up.
The glasses are off so you know it’s sooooooo funny 🤣🤣🤣

You have a very infectious laugh , loving it 😂😂😂😂
The girl at 5:51, people in the Victorian era did used to curl their hair this way. They would use strips of fabric or paper to wrap their curls.
