From Jungkook's live: they are not on hiatus and are definitely not disbanding. They are just gonna start releasing solo albums for a while and are still doing various group activities such as Run BTS. All these media are trying to twist their words and make it into something it's not. Let's always trust BTS. They have given us so much happiness and they deserve to give that to themselves too. Let's support them in every way 💜
With military coming up for some of them if not all, I assume that "hiatus" as a group will be for a few years. Yoongi mentioned that in abt 2 yrs when he's back (from military maybe), he hopes the lessons he has learnt can be put to good use. This seems to be just about the right time to go solo (think military service starting with Jin). And Jin did say he will be the last to come up with his solo (i guess that's because he is the first to go military soon?)

from what I've gathered with all the information I got, the word "hiatus" is actually a misunderstanding/mistranslation from Korean to English term. They will be focusing more on individual projects (mainly solo albums) so they can grow as individuals too and don't get stuck in the group activities only. They are STILL BTS. According to JK, they have a lot of group activities on their schedule like filming Run BTS eps. My conclusion is that they only take a break MUSIC-wise as a group (meaning no group comeback for a while ) until all of the members finish and release their solos) and that doesn't mean they wouldn't be performing as a group in the near future. My wild guess is, that they're still going to perform their previous songs from albums as OT7 in a few occasions like award shows or other special performances, or off-air appearances. The fact that some articles and media twisted their words, speculate, and spread rumors about the "beginning of disbanding" is really fucked up, that our leader, RM couldn't help but wrote a whole essay explaining the situation out of frustration (and maybe sadness) on Weverse. PS : in the Bangtan Dinner Party 2022, there are a lot, and I mean A LOT of mistranslation or misinterpretation in a sense of nuance of the words. One of examples is when in the caption Suga said "He's so weird" when talking about Jungkook's lifestyle in Jungkook's new house, Suga was actually saying "He's fascinating" in an endearing way and NOT the word "weird"! See how that makes a huge difference? SMH! Hybe translator is sometimes questionable. Anyways.. don't worry, my fellow Armys! Until this BTS fiasco, I didn't realise that 'hiatus' would trigger such strong emotions. It means a pause or break, not an ending or disbandment, but because it has been misused or abused, or associated with traumatic emotions, it seems that people have either forgotten what the word actually means or maybe never knew in the first place. I also think we need to read between the lines to understand whether the word is being used euphemistically or just straight, and it was quite clear in the Festa video that BTS were committed to continuing and even announced group activities (e.g. Run BTS). We should also be careful about the media we consume, and do so with a critical eye. Headlines are written to catch eyeballs, and the more sensational, the better. And in general, we need to 'listen' actively on multiple levels, e.g. looking at the body language, the tone, the use of pauses, etc. to more fully understand what is being communicated. The over-reliance on only the written word places an unfair emphasis on the 'translation', when we have actually been blessed with so many extra layers of communication that actually give us a more holistic picture. On a brighter note though - I noticed that they mentioned that previous mixtape/ non-official recordings would henceforth be made available. Does this mean we might be getting Ddaeng on streaming platforms??
So we already know that V is doing In the Soop with the Wooga Squad and that Hobi is headlining Lapalloza and releasing a solo album next month and that Jk has a single coming out with Charlie Puth plus they are recording Run BTS episodes for us. Basically they have "writers block" only the music version and they need to experience new things and see what direction they want to go with their music. BTS has always put out meaningful and honest music and they want to carry on with that. They havnt stopped racing around doing things for almost 13 years, even during Covid their schedules were crazy. Now they can experience so semblance or ordinary life that they have missed out on for so many years and come back refreshed and with a new enthusiasm and direction. Also we have military enlistment coming soon for some of the members so this was always an option if they decided not to go in together (I would have been surprised if they did all go at once because of the fact they probably wouldnt have all served in the same places etc also their age differences). Like they all said they have very different personalities and how they managed to live together for so long is amazing.
I finally understood cause like they just did Dynamite as an experiment to branch out, but it did so well, they found themselves not being able to take a break and did Butter and PTD, and it even got bigger. They just started reaching their peak when they already wanted to branch out. So saying this after all the love they've gotten felt wrong for them. But luckily this announcement just means 7 albums for me ☺️💜
I wished that Dynamite and Butter and Ptd had been a better experience for them seems like everything American has negative connotations...I thought for a moment the world was coming together
The way they care for their fans is unbelievable. To be so worried about how we would feel about them going solo and finding their own paths but true ARMY would want them to have everything thing in life whether it be staying in the public eye or just concentrating on their private lives. Always supporting each of them in their future endeavors.
I think this Festa Dinner is proof of how important ARMY and BTS are to each other. It takes a lot of courage to talk about your insecurities and worries and to come up with a plan on how to overcome them. BTS decided to show us this tender and vulnerable part of their life with the hope we will support them in the upcoming future. I'm very happy that they were clear about not falling apart but giving themselves some time to grow and mature as individuals and, at the same time they decided to keep some group schedules still going. I really hate that all some people took out of it was the "oh they are on hiatus" idea - which is not really true but the words have power and it kind of snowballed to the point CEO and some members felt they need to clarify it. What is important to me is that BTS was very emotional about it, in a way that make me realize once again how close they are, how important they are to each other and how much they care about ARMY. Also, ARMY panicked for a moment here, but most people were crying not because of their future plans, but because we never want them to feel like they should hold back their dreams for the sake of ARMY. We want them to do what makes them happy, freely and without guilt. To be honest, this moment in their career is a little bit like their solo performances during the tours. Someone is performing on stage at the moment, while others can take a minute and breath. Now we will also see them shine individually knowing, that the ones who need to take a moment to breathe, have this opportunity without the pressure of the busy schedule of the group. I feel like this was a very important moment in the relationship between BTS and ARMY. Open communication, vulnerability, and honestly wishing each other happiness in any possible shape and form, supporting on the path they pick for themselves. I feel like we all got a little bit closer because of it. Even in my ARMY-friends circle, I felt a little shift: a little bit more of being understanding, speaking yourself, being straightforward about our hopes and wishes. And also understanding, that we are here together thanks to BTS and that we will be here for the same reason now and in the future as well.

These intimate conversations/confessions with ARMY are very special. Starting from day 1 they were honest with the fans. That is one of the reasons why my love for them is enormous.
The bus is them getting back to their roots. RM saying they lost their way after Dynamite is how we all felt. Superficial English pop songs and chasing US awards is not who they are. They want to give us quality, and that takes time and self reflection. As always, they are leaders by example.
Don't worry, they are just taking a break for grup. But still have content grup. Army being busy now. Because we not only have one album, we have seven album, seven vote, seven interview. believe it'll be good for all of them to express themselves individually. the care they have on the feelings of army shows in their emotions. I agree with V, majority of army will support them whether in their personal lives or professional lives.

Everyone has pretty much explained the whole situation well, so refer to those comments. I think it's important to add (and you'll see it in the rest of the video) that BTS has never really had any official solo music work, only mixtapes and the soundcloud releases. Normally, kpop groups start having their members release solo albums and promote in between regular group promotions, also, when the collab with Lauv came out, I believe he said that BTS don't appear on collab MV's unless it's the 7 of them (that is a bit more of an insight into V saying 'we obsessed about being a group'), so I think when some of us saw that Yoongi was appearing in THAT THAT, at least for me, my first reaction was 'oh, is that solo featuring policy gone now?' Then the HOBIPALOOZA announcement came (I think it was before the Festa video came out too) so I took it as a cue that the dynamics were changing and I personally am really excited that they are getting to do all these things now that they basically have the world at their disposal. And I'm 1000% sure Yoongi is gonna tour at some point, and I'm just saving all my money from now on because that is gonna be insane.

Jungkook and Namjoon and even their company stated that it’s not a disbandment or a hiatus, it’ll just be less focus on group activities and more focus on solo activities. I strongly believe these guys will come back together after they have accomplished what they wanted to do as individuals. They didn’t get to explore/identify their own colour while being in the group so I think this is the best decision for them as if they held out more it could’ve just ended bad like it did for 1D. This just reminded me of how Namjoon has always said that all seven of them are in the same boat going in the same direction but is facing different sides.

So for solo projects so far, we have J-Hope headlining lollapalooza, V is going to star in a In The Soop spinoff with his personal celebrity friend group “WOOGA squad”, Jungkook and Charlie Puth are collabing in a song called “Left and Right” being released on June 24th. And they’re gonna keep doing Run BTS the show so there’s still going to be group activities, probably just not music related.
you can catch up so that when they come back ( may be one or two years from now ) you'll be all updated on their music and the variety shows. for me it's not even a sad thing. every kpop band nowadays do this thing were the members do solo debut. the only difference is that BTS decided to address it themselves instead of press release by their label ( that's how its usually done); i dont even consider it to be a pause in BTS, but a pause in group music release. they still have their variety shows that they will continue to shoot throughout the whole break. they will release music with each other on their solo albums; it's just a continuity, and they will feel so much better after this ! i cant wait for Jhope to start with the festival! i predict that we will have way more contents from them than we expect
I think it’s going to be longer than 2 years. They’ve got military enlistment. That’s 18 months each depending on when they go. In one of RM’s ending ment for PTD he talked about when they have a comeback when he’s 30 or 35… atm it sounded like that would be for normal group activities, that they’ll keep releasing music but I think it was a confession. They’ve been hinting at their struggles and doing individual work with Black Swan and their own IG accounts.
For me, I am happy that they are doing what they need to do. And I have no doubt their best is yet to come even if that best may look different than what they have shown. I am excited and thrilled for them. And ARMY has been supportive and compassionate--it truly has been a tender time. I am strengthened by the optimism and hope of BTS and ARMY. My deepest concern is if each member will be supported equally by ARMY--I am not shading us, but we all know the reality of solo stans--and if differing popularity will hurt the boys personally. This is an honest concern, but it may be completely unfounded and in the years ahead I can predict BTS will be equally amazing individually in their solo projects as well as a group. I also hope that their decision can be respected by the world and S. Korea and I don't want them to face a backlash, but we have seen how media has already spun the announcement. But most of all, I think the boys are strong and will flourish as they have done through adversity in the past.
Noticed that HYBE changed the translation 'hiatus' to 'temporary break'. Also in the initial video RM said 'the idol system doesn't allow to mature INDIVIDUALLY'. But now this word 'individually' has been deleted.

Stood outside together but separately (solo work, some light group work like RUN BTS episodes they mention later)...then there is a break (taking time off as a group) in the video right? ( We all think it's the end...but suddenly there is another scene. This time they are in the bus looking contented and happy...moving toward another future together. Chapter 2. In Chapter One they were on the bus together moving toward their year 9. Numerologically, number 9 represents completion. In a year it will be 10. New beginnings "1" with "0" Source/Spiritual gifts. There is so much content for you to still react to. They haven't had a chance to personally grow and so deserve the time to find themselves. They will still do Run BTS and we get a chance to see their individual work. Most bands that are around a long time, take breaks, take time to come up with new ideas and often have a year or 2 between albums. To have discography of over 300 songs is incredible and exhausting. No one else does the extras they have done. They need our continued love and support.
Goodness, they have so much group content that it would take new fans ages to get through it. I don't know if you've seen any of their other Festa dinners, but they're usually pretty deep at some point and a time of self-reflection or reflection on where they are as a group.
Don't forget that they still have to do Military service. Jin is first, he has to go by his BDay at the end of December. Yoongi is next a few months shortly thereafter. Not sure how quickly they will all go but they do have to all go for at least 18 months, it all depends on which branch for the length of time. That is also probably why the pause as BTS and doing solo work so they figure themselves out as individuals before the military.
I really think this also had a part in it. I actually wish they would talk about this but they might not really be free to do that for several reasons. I’m glad they are taking time for themselves, especially in light that they may have to enlist. Just would like the final answer on that but they might not yet know either.
I have been in a state of on and off depression since it all went down ...seeing these comments here are helping to get rid of the “what if’s” goin thru my mind ... how are we ever gonna trust what is translated....and someone said in RMs letter he was upset with Army...is that true?

For me the bus scene is the beginning of BTS journey and the end of this chapter, they were all sitting in the same position on both bus, the shutters came down as the end of a scene. Look at the contrast of their faces in the first and second bus. It reflects the song the past is the best thinking of all they have achieved, but the best is yet to come as there is so much more to be done.
Why are people commenting that the use of the word HIATUS is wrong?. That's exactly what BTS is doing . A Hiatus of making music together. The literal definition of "hiatus" is to pause. "a pause or gap in a sequence, series, or process." Hiatus is the perfect word and its not a bad word.

Sad that this anthology was your first comeback. I feel like new Armys still have no idea what a comeback is truly like. All the performances, tour announcements, interviews, vlives, MVs and behind the scenes, voting for music show wins, merch drops, etc. We still have some of that but it’s diluted because they didn’t plan a bunch of stuff
It’s not a hiatus don’t worry guys it’s literally just a break from group music focusing on solo music and other hobbies and refresh their minds in order to come back with new ideas and music with new fresh minds💜💜💜💜💜
They are not going on hiatus. They will continue to perform mainly as soloists but also have group activities. When they first debuted, they were allowed to do solo work because they were not as popular. Their music was not released on an official album and in the beginning was downloaded to SoundCloud making it free for their fans. Now BTS has morphed into thus super group which is in high demand so they don't have the time to explore solo work anymore. With this new chapter they will be able to focus on solo work with Hybe's full backing and albums being released. I think this was in the plans as well because each of the 7 members will be enlisting soon, one by one. They will not be able to promote as a group so this is the perfect time to explore their individually. This also explains why they did not release a new album as all 7 members would not be able to promote or tour for the new album. So the next BTS comeback will probably be when the last member returns from enlistment.
Thank you for doing this and I look forward to the rest of your reactions/opinions. What strikes me most as the members tell their stories and the truths of their most difficult times, i.e.,...RM feeling like a 'machine'....now seems so opposite of what I believed BigHit to be. It was supposed to be SO different than the big 3 companies in Korea...and for a time I think they were. At least we know the members were encouraged to write and produce BTS songs and their own music on the side. That doesn't happen in other kpop companies. But were they being pushed too hard during that time or did it come over the last few years since HYBE/HYBE America? Were they pushed to perform English and songs written by others...pushed hard towards grammys...pushed into accepting money-making marketing and projects having nothing to do with THEIR writing/performances? Did you notice that since BigHit merged under HYBE that the BigHit logo for song introductions changed and no long does it read "Music and Artists for Healing'. Meanwhile, they have been almost unable to breathe or take time to care for themselves. That being said, as far as I know they are still under contract and so I wonder how, at the height of their group popularity, they were able to convince the company to allow them to take a step back to do as they wish. Perhaps it was coming anyway, as the govt. delayed giving them any answers about military.....how could they make long-term plans as a group? On one hand they've asked us to take it as it is said, on the other hand, they repeatedly stated that they are unable to say 'everything'....hence the speculation. I swore I would never get attached to a group when I went through something kind of similar with SuperJunior, and although they are back together, since military,...not all members are there and it's just not the same. My attachment to BTS is and has been much greater because of the sincerity of their message and personal 'healing' lyrics I felt. They are going back to one… It is a new beginning for the members. They sacrificed so much of themselves for the band and now it is time for the members to focus on themselves. It is needed for them creatively and as individuals. They are still BTS, they are not breaking up or on a hiatus…. It is just a new chapter.
Its not the end of anything. Its all just a momentary pause in group music until they find their inspiration again for what message they would like to convey going forward in their music as a group. In the meantime, to keep rolling out content, they're gonna release solo albums and also release episodes of run bts every now and then. In summary, they're still a group they're still together and will be for a very long time they just need to take a step back to get a broader view of what the group means to them and what direction their music is going to take going forwards :)
This Festa dinner didn’t go the way any of us expected. The members were so incredibly thoughtful to bare their feelings like that for ARMY (rather than, say, having Big Hit make an announcement). S*** just got real.
Getting on the bus is not "the end", it is the closing of a chapter, and now they are going to take some time to recharge their batteries, reconnect with their selves as individuals, to be able to start chapter 2 of their story as bts with many more desire and feeling fresh to return to the game. That's actually what they said, Namjoon made it clear again through a letter, and Jungkook repeated it on his live. It's not an end, they are not going to disband and they are not going to stop being bts, they will simply start making official solo content, which the entire kpop industry has always done. Groups often take time off to work as soloists, but return to their activities and projects as a group. A clear example of this is Blackpink, the girls took time to work as soloists (as is the case with Lisa, or Rosé) but that does not mean that it's the end of Blackpink, the girls are still in the industry, and they are still a group.

You can find translations on Twitter by ARMY.) Honestly I am more sad that they have been feeling hurt and broken the anything else…(also I think any time of change is hard for anybody). BTS had taught us that we need to put ourselves first and take care of ourselves. Now they need to do the same and I can’t be more supportive. (I kind of have been seeing this coming actually) Plus when the members figure out what message they want to spread and finding themselves (in all forms; musically, emotionally, thoughts, etc.) they will just be even stronger ebb they have a comback with all of them together. I suspect a tiny bit of this; focusing on solo now is because of the military… I am excited for their solo stuff and will support all seven of their albums!!! I think it is fortunate that ARMY is very spoken about being OT7 and to love and support all the member. Now their are joke that instead it being another artist competing with BTS it will be 7 against 7 lol… I also hate how media has taken some of their words and twisted it and translators did such a poor job. I felt sad that Namjoon’s carrying the weight of pressure but at the same time it felt like he worries too much of his identity even before, during Love Yourself era he’s like that. Now he worries on who BTS is and what kind of group they are. He worries too much for future that he’s missing the present. It’s sad but but it is what it is. I can only be excited for each members project. Now their own music, their own style will prevail. Its always rapline songs chosen as lyrics or music now they are free to do what they want. This is a serious decision and we may have to wait 3-8 years for them to be together. I just wish people live the moment and not worry about tomorrow. We’ll cross the bridge when we get there
I could never sit through the whole dinner because i knew from twitter what the outcome was. But only now am i mentally ready to really listen for myself to what they have to say. I can really understand their dilemma; they shouldn't have to feel apologetic for it and real Army will support their decisions. We just want them to be happy. They've already cemented a legacy at this stage. They need to experience real life so that they have something to write about and be inspired about. I really hope they are having good normal personal relationships and friendships with other people too, as it's so tough to protect their privacy.
Oh yesterday I didn't realize that you didn't see different parts of the video as to the ones you did; I said that it is nice to see you react to this video because other reactors seem to have nothing to say when it's important. and makes it seem like they don't care about BTS. They are not disbanding. This new chapter is basically them focusing more on solo activities and albums than group music. But they are not suspending group activities at all. They will be doing their group shows like RUN BTS and others. It's just that they will not release music as a group for a while. Another Very Important Reason Is : Their Military enlistment. They all will have to serve in the military one by one. Jin will have to enlist this year according to his age and others will follow one by one. This will take atleast 4-5 years for them to be together and be BTS all over again. They will return as BTS after all of them have finished with their military enlistments... as they promised army.
The rappers had done solo work before and V and JK were talking about working on their mixtapes, each, but it never came out... No time to focus, to think about what you wanna say, who you are or who do you wanna be as an artist... Like RM and Jimin said. Even as a group, after Map of the soul 7, when they had a world tour planned and apperatly were also thinking about this change, individual, think about RM "Persona, and several songs on that album express this kind of doubts.. Who am I?... But the Covid came.. And the move with Dynamite, never an all English song before, and it exploded.. So they kept on working, but they put their thoughts and feelings into Be, but no reactions like to Dynamite, so they made Butter.. And again exploded... And "who are we as a group?" "we lost our direction" RM when I write the lirics very important, what do I have to say to the world... Of they need to slow down and find out who they are as individual artist and as a group, what does Bts wanna say? Because they always had a clear message, every album. 10 years have passed and so much has changed...
RM and JK and V all came on later a stated it’s not a hiatus they will be doing some group work but also working on solo projects. Hiatus was a miss translation, also Jin has to start military service in Dec.
Its time to have their own identities and do their own things . They are not disbanding its just an off season. They already did two music shows, they are continuing with Run BTS so its just a break not a break up. I think most of us have calmed down gotten several reassurances from members particularly from RM and JK that its not the end. At first it was a translation error which was changed since that got Army upset, then the media who don't know the boys started putting out misinformation so people were waking up to the news they are breaking up which isn't true. I think now when we talk about being sad its we are sad for them thinking they are disappointing us for taking a break which #90% of us are not. So yeah its starting to all calm down now I think and the more we listen to the boys words and believe what they tell us not the media its all going to be okay. Looking forward to all they decide to do.
They're not a full group hiatus or break. They'll still do group related things like film their variety show Run BTS, some other content, commercials and whatnot. But they're basically saying don't expect any new songs/ albums or concerts / tours anytime soon. They have to take a break for their own mental health, and also cuz they all have so many things they wanna do solo and they can't if they keep working so hard on BTS things. Like albums and concerts take up most of their energy so they have to put it on the back burner for a little while, probably a few years, so that they rest and do solo stuff. But that absolutely doesn't mean a complete group hiatus. They WILL do group content still. And honestly it was always crazy how much music they release anyway. They used to drop 2 albums in a year.. and in the past few years they reduced it to 1 album a year. But that's still SO much more than western artists who only release 1 album every 2/3 years. Some take even longer. BTS makes music and tours A LOT and they deserve a break from that. Off course we're all sad, but at the same time we understand they need this.
We all cried shock disbelief during Festa dinner 2022 but after few days just so happy for OT7 be able to branch out for solo activities. As an artist no one should be caged in a box and not able to produce music lyrics etc... now we know why Jimin looked so sad in promotions for Proof album. They not sure how to tell ARMY for permission to takes a BREAK 😔 this is not the end but rather the best is YET TO COME 🤧
Not sure if you know, but V has actually acted in a Korean Drama (Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth). You may wanna check out some of the clips from the show. His acting surprised me, but that was before I knew he is the actor of the group. Btw, really love watching you both react to stuff, BTS and others as well!

While rewatching the dinner here, I “think” Hybe has now edited subtitle words here and there, and even rephrased some sentences, throughout the dinner (not just the word “hiatus”). If they did this properly the first time, it would helped the situation to feel less dire in terms of the future.
Just voicing my view here. I think it is understandable for them to take a break now . Jin and Suga are going to be 30 years old soon and will have to enlist for military service probably i.e if they are not exempted. RM and JHope will follow suit in two or two and a half years' time and then V & Jimin with Jung Kook the last one. This is a good time for them to take a break from group activities. They need to have this opportunity to concentrate on their respective solo careers first. Maybe after all of them have completed their military service then only can they come back together as a group again. It's hard to do full group activities when the members have to go for military service one after another. Furthermore as they grow older, it's harder for them to keep up with the strenuous and intense choreography practices. I believe when the BTS members do get back to do their group activities like concerts or music shows again, the choreography will not be that intense anymore.
They are not disbanding. Yet to come is a promise that its only temporary. Solo albums are a big deal. Completely new music. This is a treat. A good thing. Please look at it in this way.
They will still do group content such as Run BTS (the variety show), just no group music/album/tour And they emphasized on multiple platforms that this is not a hiatus and definitely no disbandment. I am extremely exited to see their individual personalities unfold through their solo activities! 💜

Hiatus was a mistranslation, they are going on a temporary break but they are still doing group activities but will have a more solo focus so they aren't constantly being sucked into just doing group work and have time to grow as themselves as well. In JK's Vlive and RM and V's weverse post they clarified what was happening. 💜

no worries! it's not uncommon for kpop group to take a break... specially when they have military services! I have no doubt they are gonna come back together in the near future ! Their love and appreciation for ARMY is just too much! I respect them for admitting that they need a break to recharge! Suicides is kinda of not uncommon in Kpop industry so i'm glad they are trying to take care of themselves

The routine of every day wears down creative energy. I resigned from my 9-year job in my 30s because I felt like I could no longer explore myself. What more these multi-potential, multipassionate people? KPOP doesn't allow people to grow, but BTS is different. They can bravely experiment and admit their weakness because they are secure that their fans will be there. There will be cleansing in ARMY. Fair-weather fans would go, but the true ones would support all the members' decisions.

Can i ask why you're only reacting a small portions at a time?(most do them in one go) I understand for some people it maybe long but for me they're really short I love longer video's (like an hour etc) and i know many ARMYs do. (actually get quite bored with shorter videos because they end up have very little in terms of reaction and thoughts to the video, I never really watch a reaction video if it's under 20-30 mins) You can still do whatever you want it's your channel I was just wondering why.....
I had this same question. It gives me a not great feeling. It’s not like they didn’t react to it all at once. Kinda just feels to me like BTS is a content farm when people do things like this.

Just a quick note that's needed under this comment: no one has the right to gatekeep any bts video. One of these vulnerable emotional videos leaded me to be an army when i had no idea who they really were. These videos are great for newcomers to see how sincere they are than they look at the first sight. So watch it guys.

As per predictions, V is going to juggle between music and acting. While Music will ofcourse be his predominant focus. His solo album will probably drop at the end of this year or next year. He will also venture into acting as he is one of the most sort after in the korean entertainment world. Directors and producers have been waiting for a long time now to get him on board.. so yeah. All the other members will have their solo albums coming out with Jhope being the first. Jin might also venture into acting after coming back from his military enlistment.
They will concentrate on their solo works with regards to their music. But j believe they still have group activites. They are now filming RUN! BTS. I guess thus may also line up with their military enlistment. They will release statement avout jt next week. But there is a leaked sched of their solo albums release together with thwir military enlistment. It is leaked and not verifies but looked like that sched was so good, the comeback would be on 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2025. Jin will enlist on 4thQ this year 2022. Suga 1stQ 2023, Rm 2ndQ 2023, Jhope JMin & V 3rdQ 2023 and last will be JK 4thQ 2023. And all of them will come out on 2024 1st with Jin and will release the last solo album of the group by 2nd-3rdQ of 2024. Jk will be the last one to finish by 1stQ of 2025. The sched is a great one. As much as i want them to be enlisted altogether, that idea will just ruin their need for growth and focusing on their solo careers. But the leaked sched if it's true is a good move. It's not like 2025 is that long & besides there is only like 6mos without any members present outside the military. It's from the last to enter JK and 1st to finish Jin, it will only be 6mos apart. BTS is gonna take a break from "BTS music", not "BTS". They have basically burnt out and have nothing more to share with the world(a message/meaning) as a group. So to keep their sincerity, they will go out on their own for the first time since 2013 to do solo work, learn new stuff and learn how they are as individuals. Then they will get back together after some time, better and more experienced and/or rested than ever. Also, I hope DJ is doing okay, he seemed really tired💜

Since they decided to take a break which they fully deserved..I wish they will enjoy their life to the fullest before they enlist for their military service..especially Jin who must enlist early 2023..Suga must enlist 2024..RM and JHope must enlist 2025..Jimin and V must enlist 2026..JK 2027..the mandatory military service in Korea last for 1 year and 18 months. I just hope Suga RM and JOSE enlist together followed by Jimin V and JK after one year so we don't have to wait for 8 long years before we see BTS 7 on stage again.

They are just gonna start releasing solo albums for a while and are still doing various group activities such as Run BTS. All these media are trying to twist their words and make it into something it's not. Let's always trust BTS. They have given us so much happiness and they deserve to give that to themselves too. With military coming up for some of them if not all, I assume that "hiatus" as a group will be for a few years. Yoongi mentioned that in abt 2 yrs when he's back (from military maybe), he hopes the lessons he has learnt can be put to good use. This seems to be just about the right time to go solo (think military service starting with Jin). And Jin did say he will be the last to come up with his solo (i guess that's because he is the first to go military soon?)

from what I've gathered with all the information I got, the word "hiatus" is actually a misunderstanding/mistranslation from Korean to English term. They will be focusing more on individual projects (mainly solo albums) so they can grow as individuals too and don't get stuck in the group activities only. They are STILL BTS. According to JK, they have a lot of group activities on their schedule like filming Run BTS eps. My conclusion is that they only take a break MUSIC-wise as a group (meaning no group comeback for a while ) until all of the members finish and release their solos) and that doesn't mean they wouldn't be performing as a group in the near future. My wild guess is, that they're still going to perform their previous songs from albums as OT7 in a few occasions like award shows or other special performances, or off-air appearances.
The fact that some articles and media twisted their words, speculate, and spread rumors about the "beginning of disbanding" is really fucked up, that our leader, RM couldn't help but wrote a whole essay explaining the situation out of frustration (and maybe sadness) on Weverse.
PS : in the Bangtan Dinner Party 2022, there are a lot, and I mean A LOT of mistranslation or misinterpretation in a sense of nuance of the words. One of examples is when in the caption Suga said "He's so weird" when talking about Jungkook's lifestyle in Jungkook's new house, Suga was actually saying "He's fascinating" in an endearing way and NOT the word "weird"! See how that makes a huge difference?

Until this BTS fiasco, I didn't realise that 'hiatus' would trigger such strong emotions. It means a pause or break, not an ending or disbandment, but because it has been misused or abused, or associated with traumatic emotions, it seems that people have either forgotten what the word actually means or maybe never knew in the first place. I also think we need to read between the lines to understand whether the word is being used euphemistically or just straight, and it was quite clear in the Festa video that BTS were committed to continuing and even announced group activities (e.g. Run BTS). We should also be careful about the media we consume, and do so with a critical eye. Headlines are written to catch eyeballs, and the more sensational, the better.
And in general, we need to 'listen' actively on multiple levels, e.g. looking at the body language, the tone, the use of pauses, etc. to more fully understand what is being communicated. The over-reliance on only the written word places an unfair emphasis on the 'translation', when we have actually been blessed with so many extra layers of communication that actually give us a more holistic picture.
On a brighter note though - I noticed that they mentioned that previous mixtape/ non-official recordings would henceforth be made available. Does this mean we might be getting Ddaeng on streaming platforms??
I cannot wait for BANGTANSUBS to sub this dinner for these reasons.

So we already know that V is doing In the Soop with the Wooga Squad and that Hobi is headlining Lapalloza and releasing a solo album next month and that Jk has a single coming out with Charlie Puth plus they are recording Run BTS episodes for us. Basically they have "writers block" only the music version and they need to experience new things and see what direction they want to go with their music. BTS has always put out meaningful and honest music and they want to carry on with that. They havnt stopped racing around doing things for almost 13 years, even during Covid their schedules were crazy. Now they can experience so semblance or ordinary life that they have missed out on for so many years and come back refreshed and with a new enthusiasm and direction. Also we have military enlistment coming soon for some of the members so this was always an option if they decided not to go in together (I would have been surprised if they did all go at once because of the fact they probably wouldnt have all served in the same places etc also their age differences). Like they all said they have very different personalities and how they managed to live together for so long is amazing.
I finally understood cause like they just did Dynamite as an experiment to branch out, but it did so well, they found themselves not being able to take a break and did Butter and PTD, and it even got bigger. They just started reaching their peak when they already wanted to branch out. So saying this after all the love they've gotten felt wrong for them. But luckily this announcement just means 7 albums for me ☺️💜

The way they care for their fans is unbelievable. To be so worried about how we would feel about them going solo and finding their own paths but true ARMY would want them to have everything thing in life whether it be staying in the public eye or just concentrating on their private lives. Always supporting each of them in their future endeavors.
I think this Festa Dinner is proof of how important ARMY and BTS are to each other. It takes a lot of courage to talk about your insecurities and worries and to come up with a plan on how to overcome them. BTS decided to show us this tender and vulnerable part of their life with the hope we will support them in the upcoming future. I'm very happy that they were clear about not falling apart but giving themselves some time to grow and mature as individuals and, at the same time they decided to keep some group schedules still going. I really hate that all some people took out of it was the "oh they are on hiatus" idea - which is not really true but the words have power and it kind of snowballed to the point CEO and some members felt they need to clarify it.
What is important to me is that BTS was very emotional about it, in a way that make me realize once again how close they are, how important they are to each other and how much they care about ARMY. Also, ARMY panicked for a moment here, but most people were crying not because of their future plans, but because we never want them to feel like they should hold back their dreams for the sake of ARMY. We want them to do what makes them happy, freely and without guilt.
To be honest, this moment in their career is a little bit like their solo performances during the tours. Someone is performing on stage at the moment, while others can take a minute and breath. Now we will also see them shine individually knowing, that the ones who need to take a moment to breathe, have this opportunity without the pressure of the busy schedule of the group.
I feel like this was a very important moment in the relationship between BTS and ARMY.
Open communication, vulnerability, and honestly wishing each other happiness in any possible shape and form, supporting on the path they pick for themselves.
I feel like we all got a little bit closer because of it.
Even in my ARMY-friends circle, I felt a little shift: a little bit more of being understanding, speaking yourself, being straightforward about our hopes and wishes. And also understanding, that we are here together thanks to BTS and that we will be here for the same reason now and in the future as well.

These intimate conversations/confessions with ARMY are very special. Starting from day 1 they were honest with the fans. That is one of the reasons why my love for them is enormous.
The bus is them getting back to their roots. RM saying they lost their way after Dynamite is how we all felt. Superficial English pop songs and chasing US awards is not who they are.
They want to give us quality, and that takes time and self reflection. As always, they are leaders by example.
Don't worry, they are just taking a break for grup. But still have content grup.

Everyone has pretty much explained the whole situation well, so refer to those comments. I think it's important to add (and you'll see it in the rest of the video) that BTS has never really had any official solo music work, only mixtapes and the soundcloud releases. Normally, kpop groups start having their members release solo albums and promote in between regular group promotions, also, when the collab with Lauv came out, I believe he said that BTS don't appear on collab MV's unless it's the 7 of them (that is a bit more of an insight into V saying 'we obsessed about being a group'), so I think when some of us saw that Yoongi was appearing in THAT THAT, at least for me, my first reaction was 'oh, is that solo featuring policy gone now?' Then the HOBIPALOOZA announcement came (I think it was before the Festa video came out too) so I took it as a cue that the dynamics were changing and I personally am really excited that they are getting to do all these things now that they basically have the world at their disposal.
And I'm 1000% sure Yoongi is gonna tour at some point, and I'm just saving all my money from now on because that is gonna be insane.

Jungkook and Namjoon and even their company stated that it’s not a disbandment or a hiatus, it’ll just be less focus on group activities and more focus on solo activities. I strongly believe these guys will come back together after they have accomplished what they wanted to do as individuals. They didn’t get to explore/identify their own colour while being in the group so I think this is the best decision for them as if they held out more it could’ve just ended bad like it did for 1D.
This just reminded me of how Namjoon has always said that all seven of them are in the same boat going in the same direction but is facing different sides.

So for solo projects so far, we have J-Hope headlining lollapalooza, V is going to star in a In The Soop spinoff with his personal celebrity friend group “WOOGA squad”, Jungkook and Charlie Puth are collabing in a song called “Left and Right” being released on June 24th. And they’re gonna keep doing Run BTS the show so there’s still going to be group activities, probably just not music related.
you can catch up so that when they come back ( may be one or two years from now ) you'll be all updated on their music and the variety shows. for me it's not even a sad thing. every kpop band nowadays do this thing were the members do solo debut. the only difference is that BTS decided to address it themselves instead of press release by their label ( that's how its usually done);
i dont even consider it to be a pause in BTS, but a pause in group music release. they still have their variety shows that they will continue to shoot throughout the whole break. they will release music with each other on their solo albums;

I think it’s going to be longer than 2 years. They’ve got military enlistment. That’s 18 months each depending on when they go. In one of RM’s ending ment for PTD he talked about when they have a comeback when he’s 30 or 35… atm it sounded like that would be for normal group activities, that they’ll keep releasing music but I think it was a confession. For me, I am happy that they are doing what they need to do. And I have no doubt their best is yet to come even if that best may look different than what they have shown. I am excited and thrilled for them. And ARMY has been supportive and compassionate--it truly has been a tender time. I am strengthened by the optimism and hope of BTS and ARMY. My deepest concern is if each member will be supported equally by ARMY--I am not shading us, but we all know the reality of solo stans--and if differing popularity will hurt the boys personally. This is an honest concern, but it may be completely unfounded and in the years ahead I can predict BTS will be equally amazing individually in their solo projects as well as a group. I also hope that their decision can be respected by the world and S. Korea and I don't want them to face a backlash, but we have seen how media has already spun the announcement. But most of all, I think the boys are strong and will flourish as they have done through adversity in the past.
Noticed that HYBE changed the translation 'hiatus' to 'temporary break'. Also in the initial video RM said 'the idol system doesn't allow to mature INDIVIDUALLY'. But now this word 'individually' has been deleted.

Stood outside together but separately (solo work, some light group work like RUN BTS episodes they mention later)...then there is a break (taking time off as a group) in the video right? ( We all think it's the end...but suddenly there is another scene. This time they are in the bus looking contented and happy...moving toward another future together. Chapter 2. In Chapter One they were on the bus together moving toward their year 9. Numerologically, number 9 represents completion. In a year it will be 10. New beginnings "1" with "0" Source/Spiritual gifts. There is so much content for you to still react to. They haven't had a chance to personally grow and so deserve the time to find themselves. They will still do Run BTS and we get a chance to see their individual work. Most bands that are around a long time, take breaks, take time to come up with new ideas and often have a year or 2 between albums.
To have discography of over 300 songs is incredible and exhausting. No one else does the extras they have done.
They need our continued love and support.
Goodness, they have so much group content that it would take new fans ages to get through it. I don't know if you've seen any of their other Festa dinners, but they're usually pretty deep at some point and a time of self-reflection or reflection on where they are as a group.
Don't forget that they still have to do Military service. Jin is first, he has to go by his BDay at the end of December. Yoongi is next a few months shortly thereafter. Not sure how quickly they will all go but they do have to all go for at least 18 months, it all depends on which branch for the length of time. That is also probably why the pause as BTS and doing solo work so they figure themselves out as individuals before the military.
I really think this also had a part in it. I actually wish they would talk about this but they might not really be free to do that for several reasons. I’m glad they are taking time for themselves, especially in light that they may have to enlist. Just would like the final answer on that but they might not yet know either.

For me the bus scene is the beginning of BTS journey and the end of this chapter, they were all sitting in the same position on both bus, the shutters came down as the end of a scene. Look at the contrast of their faces in the first and second bus. It reflects the song the past is the best thinking of all they have achieved, but the best is yet to come as there is so much more to be done.
Why are people commenting that the use of the word HIATUS is wrong?. That's exactly what BTS is doing . A Hiatus of making music together. The literal definition of "hiatus" is to pause.

1. Look at the current situation; there has been no definite decision on military service.

3. They are not disbanded. They never say it.

They are not going on hiatus. They will continue to perform mainly as soloists but also have group activities. When they first debuted, they were allowed to do solo work because they were not as popular. Their music was not released on an official album and in the beginning was downloaded to SoundCloud making it free for their fans. Now BTS has morphed into thus super group which is in high demand so they don't have the time to explore solo work anymore. With this new chapter they will be able to focus on solo work with Hybe's full backing and albums being released. I think this was in the plans as well because each of the 7 members will be enlisting soon, one by one. They will not be able to promote as a group so this is the perfect time to explore their individually. This also explains why they did not release a new album as all 7 members would not be able to promote or tour for the new album. So the next BTS comeback will probably be when the last member returns from enlistment.

Thank you for doing this and I look forward to the rest of your reactions/opinions. What strikes me most as the members tell their stories and the truths of their most difficult times, i.e.,...RM feeling like a 'machine'....now seems so opposite of what I believed BigHit to be. It was supposed to be SO different than the big 3 companies in Korea...and for a time I think they were. At least we know the members were encouraged to write and produce BTS songs and their own music on the side. That doesn't happen in other kpop companies. But were they being pushed too hard during that time or did it come over the last few years since HYBE/HYBE America? Were they pushed to perform English and songs written by others...pushed hard towards grammys...pushed into accepting money-making marketing and projects having nothing to do with THEIR writing/performances? Did you notice that since BigHit merged under HYBE that the BigHit logo for song introductions changed and no long does it read "Music and Artists for Healing'. Meanwhile, they have been almost unable to breathe or take time to care for themselves. That being said, as far as I know they are still under contract and so I wonder how, at the height of their group popularity, they were able to convince the company to allow them to take a step back to do as they wish. Perhaps it was coming anyway, as the govt. delayed giving them any answers about military.....how could they make long-term plans as a group? On one hand they've asked us to take it as it is said, on the other hand, they repeatedly stated that they are unable to say 'everything'....hence the speculation. I swore I would never get attached to a group when I went through something kind of similar with SuperJunior, and although they are back together, since military,...not all members are there and it's just not the same. My attachment to BTS is and has been much greater because of the sincerity of their message and personal 'healing' lyrics I felt. Its not the end of anything. Its all just a momentary pause in group music until they find their inspiration again for what message they would like to convey going forward in their music as a group. In the meantime, to keep rolling out content, they're gonna release solo albums and also release episodes of run bts every now and then. In summary, they're still a group they're still together and will be for a very long time they just need to take a step back to get a broader view of what the group means to them and what direction their music is going to take going forwards :)
This Festa dinner didn’t go the way any of us expected. The members were so incredibly thoughtful to bare their feelings like that for ARMY (rather than, say, having Big Hit make an announcement). S*** just got real.
Getting on the bus is not "the end", it is the closing of a chapter, and now they are going to take some time to recharge their batteries, reconnect with their selves as individuals, to be able to start chapter 2 of their story as bts with many more desire and feeling fresh to return to the game.
That's actually what they said, Namjoon made it clear again through a letter, and Jungkook repeated it on his live.
It's not an end, they are not going to disband and they are not going to stop being bts, they will simply start making official solo content, which the entire kpop industry has always done. Groups often take time off to work as soloists, but return to their activities and projects as a group.
A clear example of this is Blackpink, the girls took time to work as soloists (as is the case with Lisa, or Rosé) but that does not mean that it's the end of Blackpink, the girls are still in the industry, and they are still a group.
Everyone pretty much explained the “hiatus” so I won’t explain. (However I highly recommend watching Jungkook’s Vlive and reading RM’ letter that he wrote. You can find translations on Twitter by ARMY.)
Honestly I am more sad that they have been feeling hurt and broken the anything else…(also I think any time of change is hard for anybody). BTS had taught us that we need to put ourselves first and take care of ourselves. Now they need to do the same and I can’t be more supportive. (I kind of have been seeing this coming actually)
Plus when the members figure out what message they want to spread and finding themselves (in all forms; musically, emotionally, thoughts, etc.) they will just be even stronger ebb they have a comback with all of them together.

I felt sad that Namjoon’s carrying the weight of pressure but at the same time it felt like he worries too much of his identity even before, during Love Yourself era he’s like that. Now he worries on who BTS is and what kind of group they are. He worries too much for future that he’s missing the present. It’s sad but but it is what it is. I can only be excited for each members project. Now their own music, their own style will prevail. Its always rapline songs chosen as lyrics or music now they are free to do what they want. This is a serious decision and we may have to wait 3-8 years for them to be together. I just wish people live the moment and not worry about tomorrow. We’ll cross the bridge when we get there
I could never sit through the whole dinner because i knew from twitter what the outcome was. But only now am i mentally ready to really listen for myself to what they have to say. I can really understand their dilemma; they shouldn't have to feel apologetic for it and real Army will support their decisions. We just want them to be happy. They've already cemented a legacy at this stage. They need to experience real life so that they have something to write about and be inspired about. I really hope they are having good normal personal relationships and friendships with other people too, as it's so tough to protect their privacy.
Oh yesterday I didn't realize that you didn't see different parts of the video as to the ones you did; I said that it is nice to see you react to this video because other reactors seem to have nothing to say when it's important. and makes it seem like they don't care about BTS. Their Military enlistment. They all will have to serve in the military one by one. Jin will have to enlist this year according to his age and others will follow one by one. This will take atleast 4-5 years for them to be together and be BTS all over again. They will return as BTS after all of them have finished with their military enlistments... as they promised army.

The rappers had done solo work before and V and JK were talking about working on their mixtapes, each, but it never came out... No time to focus, to think about what you wanna say, who you are or who do you wanna be as an artist... Like RM and Jimin said. Even as a group, after Map of the soul 7, when they had a world tour planned and apperatly were also thinking about this change, individual, think about RM "Persona, and several songs on that album express this kind of doubts.. Who am I?... But the Covid came.. And the move with Dynamite, never an all English song before, and it exploded.. So they kept on working, but they put their thoughts and feelings into Be, but no reactions like to Dynamite, so they made Butter.. And again exploded... And "who are we as a group?" "we lost our direction" RM when I write the lirics very important, what do I have to say to the world... Of they need to slow down and find out who they are as individual artist and as a group, what does Bts wanna say? Because they always had a clear message, every album. 10 years have passed and so much has changed...

Its time to have their own identities and do their own things . They are not disbanding its just an off season. They already did two music shows, they are continuing with Run BTS so its just a break not a break up. I think most of us have calmed down gotten several reassurances from members particularly from RM and JK that its not the end. At first it was a translation error which was changed since that got Army upset, then the media who don't know the boys started putting out misinformation so people were waking up to the news they are breaking up which isn't true. I think now when we talk about being sad its we are sad for them thinking they are disappointing us for taking a break which #90% of us are not. So yeah its starting to all calm down now I think and the more we listen to the boys words and believe what they tell us not the media its all going to be okay. Looking forward to all they decide to do.
They're not a full group hiatus or break. They'll still do group related things like film their variety show Run BTS, some other content, commercials and whatnot. But they're basically saying don't expect any new songs/ albums or concerts / tours anytime soon. They have to take a break for their own mental health, and also cuz they all have so many things they wanna do solo and they can't if they keep working so hard on BTS things. Like albums and concerts take up most of their energy so they have to put it on the back burner for a little while, probably a few years, so that they rest and do solo stuff. But that absolutely doesn't mean a complete group hiatus. They WILL do group content still.
And honestly it was always crazy how much music they release anyway. They used to drop 2 albums in a year.. and in the past few years they reduced it to 1 album a year. But that's still SO much more than western artists who only release 1 album every 2/3 years. Some take even longer. BTS makes music and tours A LOT and they deserve a break from that. Off course we're all sad, but at the same time we understand they need this.

We all cried shock disbelief during Festa dinner 2022 but after few days just so happy for OT7 be able to branch out for solo activities. As an artist no one should be caged in a box and not able to produce music lyrics etc... now we know why Jimin looked so sad in promotions for Proof album. Not sure if you know, but V has actually acted in a Korean Drama (Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth). You may wanna check out some of the clips from the show. While rewatching the dinner here, I “think” Hybe has now edited subtitle words here and there, and even rephrased some sentences, throughout the dinner (not just the word “hiatus”). If they did this properly the first time, it would helped the situation to feel less dire in terms of the future.
Just voicing my view here. I think it is understandable for them to take a break now . Jin and Suga are going to be 30 years old soon and will have to enlist for military service probably i.e if they are not exempted. RM and JHope will follow suit in two or two and a half years' time and then V & Jimin with Jung Kook the last one. This is a good time for them to take a break from group activities. They need to have this opportunity to concentrate on their respective solo careers first. Maybe after all of them have completed their military service then only can they come back together as a group again.
It's hard to do full group activities when the members have to go for military service one after another. Furthermore as they grow older, it's harder for them to keep up with the strenuous and intense choreography practices. I believe when the BTS members do get back to do their group activities like concerts or music shows again, the choreography will not be that intense anymore.
I recommend their past festa dinner party.

Hiatus was a mistranslation, they are going on a temporary break but they are still doing group activities but will have a more solo focus so they aren't constantly being sucked into just doing group work and have time to grow as themselves as well. In JK's Vlive and RM and V's weverse post they clarified what was happening. 💜

The routine of every day wears down creative energy. I resigned from my 9-year job in my 30s because I felt like I could no longer explore myself. What more these multi-potential, multipassionate people? KPOP doesn't allow people to grow, but BTS is different. They can bravely experiment and admit their weakness because they are secure that their fans will be there. There will be cleansing in ARMY. Fair-weather fans would go, but the true ones would support all the members' decisions.

Can i ask why you're only reacting a small portions at a time?(most do them in one go) I understand for some people it maybe long but for me they're really short I love longer video's (like an hour etc) and i know many ARMYs do. (actually get quite bored with shorter videos because they end up have very little in terms of reaction and thoughts to the video, I never really watch a reaction video if it's under 20-30 mins)

Just a quick note that's needed under this comment: no one has the right to gatekeep any bts video. One of these vulnerable emotional videos leaded me to be an army when i had no idea who they really were. These videos are great for newcomers to see how sincere they are than they look at the first sight. So watch it guys.

It's a tough one! Which is why a range of feedback is good. As per predictions, V is going to juggle between music and acting. While Music will ofcourse be his predominant focus. His solo album will probably drop at the end of this year or next year. But there is a leaked sched of their solo albums release together with thwir military enlistment. It is leaked and not verifies but looked like that sched was so good, the comeback would be on 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2025. Jin will enlist on 4thQ this year 2022. Suga 1stQ 2023, Rm 2ndQ 2023, Jhope JMin & V 3rdQ 2023 and last will be JK 4thQ 2023. And all of them will come out on 2024 1st with Jin and will release the last solo album of the group by 2nd-3rdQ of 2024. Jk will be the last one to finish by 1stQ of 2025. The sched is a great one. As much as i want them to be enlisted altogether, that idea will just ruin their need for growth and focusing on their solo careers. But the leaked sched if it's true is a good move. It's not like 2025 is that long & besides there is only like 6mos without any members present outside the military. It's from the last to enter JK and 1st to finish Jin, it will only be 6mos apart. I know armys will root for them and they will be more loved after that resr. 💯❤️

BTS is gonna take a break from "BTS music", not "BTS". They have basically burnt out and have nothing more to share with the world(a message/meaning) as a group.
So to keep their sincerity, they will go out on their own for the first time since 2013 to do solo work, learn new stuff and learn how they are as individuals.
Then they will get back together after some time, better and more experienced and/or rested than ever.
Also, I hope DJ is doing okay, he seemed really tired💜

Since they decided to take a break which they fully deserved..I wish they will enjoy their life to the fullest before they enlist for their military service..especially Jin who must enlist early 2023..Suga must enlist 2024..RM and JHope must enlist 2025..Jimin and V must enlist 2026..JK 2027..the mandatory military service in Korea last for 1 year and 18 months. I just hope Suga RM and JOSE enlist together followed by Jimin V and JK after one year so we don't have to wait for 8 long years before we see BTS 7 on stage again.
