I makes my heart sing when I see stories like this. In the days when I was growing up, there was no way for parents to know they were having a child with special needs. If a baby was born with Downs, the parents were told to place the baby in an institution and forget about them. These days, seeing what people with Downs are capable of achieving, it’s sad to think of all those babies who never even got a chance.
I love it I felt like you did there is always the negatives not any positives of what can be. We have to do that part on our own. My son is three and he is a blessing. I made up in my mind knowing God is in control that he can do anything anyone else can do and he does not have any limitations only what the world puts on him. He is very smart, strong and up to any challenge. I will fight for him because the world is a better place because God put him here.
