- Ahead of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, we took Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton and Collin Morikawa to the drag strip at Yas Marina Circuit for one of the most difficult challenges we’ve ever attempted - hit a one-yard-wide fairway.
Introducing the first Hero Challenge of 2022.

The DP World Tour returns to the United Arab Emirates this week for the first of four consecutive events in the country. This week’s tournament will host an incredibly strong field, with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and Danny Willet competing to claim their first win of 2022. Tyrell Hatton will also be teeing up, hoping to repeat his excellent performance in 2021, which saw him take the win by four shots. Other notable names include 2020 winner Lee Westwood, 2013 Masters winner Adam Scott and the postman himself, Ian Poulter.

It's good to see 3 pros going through the pain and disappointment of trying to hit a fairway. What they need to realise is this is how narrow fairways are for the rest of us!
I don't even play golf and appreciate how hard it is.
I wish the fairways I played were so massively wide!

@@aaronzachar657 I mean, i suck at golf but if I sat there and smacked balls for an hour there is a good chance I could get one on there just by accident. If they only hit 50 balls its impressive, but if they were there for hours then not so much. Its like those Dude Perfect videos where it seems really amazing then you realize the spent an entire weekend just for the 1 to work.
Ok bud, if you say so. You realize they were using drivers and the fairway didn’t start for a good while right? If you aren’t good at golf then you would have absolutely no chance of hitting a shot like that. Plus, they hit it a number of times, it just didn’t sit.

Lol he does , I met him one time and have worked a bunch of events. Mind you when I met him it was on 3 occasions all at Congressional when he annihilated the US OPEN record

Seriously? You gonna sit here and tell me you want more coverage from an entire day of golf from the PGA Tour channel, who has exclusivity rights for any shots they want to show? Dozens of groups hitting shots from all over the place, drives, chips, putts, bad shots, recovery shots, all the things that make up a round of golf, all streamlined into a succinct 3 minute video that's over before I can even brew a cup of coffee and shows nothing but repetitive 15 foot putts. /s C'mon man!
Did you not see their recent video of that charity golf thing in Vegas at the Wynn course? It was most excellent and I recommend giving it a watch.

Rory's reaction at 2:45 was amazing, the range of emotions, him trying to control his disappointment and then getting back into the vibe and realizing he's hitting golf balls on a formula one track and life is good.

I’m encouraged watching them hit these pulls and blocks fresh off the tee box. Seeing them do it makes me realize we all just need to have a solid warm up routine to be at our best. Those first 6 shots look like mine when I just go out and play
