Wow, Joey what a beautiful place. When I was young around your age and younger spent much time camping, but my camping was finding a deserted Island in the barrier islands around the White Oak River which connects to the inner Coastline Waterway. The only way to these islands in no man's land is by boat. Some of the islands were as big as a football field while others were about the size of 5 football fields. Our Church Group back in the 1980's we took our Youth group for two camping on one such island, wow so much fun, swimming, fishing, and watch large ships off the Coast of North Carolina. Then others times head out into farmland, then into the deep woods for fun camping where snakes hide and small critters roam. but the joy of it all Camping gets in the blood and you can't get it out. Thank you Joey for excellent video. Have a great day, my friend.

RRG is a top pick when friends from out of state ask where to visit. Fall or early spring is vest time to visit. It gets fairly humid and buggy in the summer, so not the best camping. Our winters are fairly mild too. So another option. Thanks for posting and sharing your adventure in one of Kentucky’s finest spots.

I love RRG, it's my go to quick getaway spot. Lot's of places to disappear for a few days.

Thank you. Stunning scenery. We are blessed in UK with some gorgeous scenery but not on the scale of that in USA . One advantage here we do have many dangerous predators. Just annoying little ones !

Sorry do not have many dangerous predators. Deer and boar need to be watched carefully.

Around those parts of Kentucky, Bobcat and black bear reign supreme.
