The very first Japanese metal CD I bought was Bridear Overturn the Doom. Instrumentally, I loved it; but I didn't care for Kimi's singing, to be honest. My impression of Bridear remained the same until the Born Again album was released. The whole album, except for track 6, is great. Not only are the instrumentals banging but a big reason why I love the album is Kimi's vocals; she's much more dynamic here compared to the past where she expressed herself like an uplifting anime song (with the exception of track 6).
Unlucky Morpheus「世界輪廻 (Sekai-Rinne) 」 is the theme song for an anime show (can't remember the name of the anime). Mitsuru, former Bridear guitarist, also worked with Fuki writing music for the anime. BTW, Doll$Boxx will be touring in December with Gacharic Spin. Bridear announced a world tour for 2025...including the USA, so watch out for dates!! And the new album is a banger!
