“Oooooooooouuuuuch!” I could here the borders screaming in pain from here 😂 You could put a little piece of washi on the side of the corner rounder you’re using so you remember to use the right side 🙂
Hehe they might have protested a little, but in the end, I won. ☺️ Ooh that's a good idea about washi on the corner rounder, I'll have to try that! Thank you for watching. ❤️
I got this deck after you did your walk through. I really love the art and the colors. Your edging selection of colors really fit the deck. Thanks Dawn Michelle for another wonderful mod video!
I totally love this deck. And you are spot on with the serene feeling of each card. I used it for most of January. And hated to put it away. Your mod came out beautifully. I’ve colored the edges on two deck but haven’t gotten brave enough to trim anything yet, but I loved how yours came out. That deck is hard for me to manipulate, too. Stay safe.
It was such a joy to work all throughout January for me as well. I think we used it for the same practice in the monthly medicine. Thank you for watching. ❤️
They turned out beautiful. I especially like the colorful edges. I'm not brave enough to trim but I might try my had at coloring the edges.🥰I subscribed!
It looks so good, love the colours that you chose as well. I have the indie version of this but would be tempted to buy a mm copy now. I have to say im not the best at deck modding having only done 3 so far but your tutorials have been amazingly helpful and are always fun to watch.
I am so glad you find them helpful! So cool that you have the indie, I missed out on it. The mass market is a pretty affordable one to give a mod a try on. Thank you for watching. ❤️
It turned out really well. I love how the edging turned out. I did end up picking up a copy of this deck and the King of Pentacles was not damaged like the previous versions I returned to Barnes and Noble. Thank you for sharing sweet lady.
I'm so glad you got one that wasn't damaged, maybe they fixed the issue for future releases. I do hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Thank you for watching. ❤️
I love this deck too. I must admit I never do any deck modifications. It would give me the feeling of hurting a deck, I know this sounds weird. I take decks as they are. But your version really looks very good especially on your white table top.
I know alot of people don't mod their decks and that's totally cool too. I like giving them my own personal touch and adding my energy to it. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
Awesome job! 👌😍 It is so much nicer trimmed, easier to handle. I need to edge mine still after trimming it.... Not sure if I'm going to do colours or black.
I have never considered modding a deck (but i am very new to this!!) But i think it's a lovely unique addition to the deck! I would be so scared to make a mistake though!! Beautiful job 👏
It takes a little practice, but it's such a fun way to make a deck yours. I suggest practicing on some cheap playing cards first. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I recently got this & ❤️ it, size is ok for me. I want to edge it & not sure color yet. I did 2 others thanks to you that turned out amazing: Chemoinette in aubergine purple alcohol marker (almost black) & Spacious Tarot in Mildliner lavender (names on the side left of AP/bar code). Now I'm eyeing all my decks like who's next my pretties......😍🥰 TY so much! 💕
@@DawnMichelleTarot Wandering Star wanted to be green after this LOL, which wasn't my first choice but it works-more of a sage (Mildliner since I seem to be hooked 😋 and seeing what you mean on the grooves wearing in, whoever said replacement pen nibs 👍 I wish they had some)
Just FYI, the tombows are watercolor markers and not permanent, I'd worry about them bleeding or just coming off on, whatever. I have not tried them to edge, but that's why. Edit: well I said this before finished but looks like you've used them before, how do they work?
I've never had an issue with bleeding, transfer or fading with my Tombows. My Crayolas sometimes transfer onto my hands, but so far so good with the Tombows. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I originally wanted to grab a pack of Crayola pastels, but I never found a box of them at the store. I bet they turned out great! Thank you for watching. ❤️
Looking forward to seeing this ! I love the cards but still little to big for my hands ! Ok I may have to do this to fit my hands better , yours turned out lovely ! I have lots of colored sharpies would that work also for the edges? Or stay away from sharpies ?? Thank you for doing this , I was worried about some of the key words also but actually yours came out perfect !
Alot of people use sharpie for edging their decks. I tend to stay away from them primarily because the smell always gives me a headache and I'm not fond of the way they can sometimes bleed. But I know that's the marker of choice for a lot of people. Thank you for watching. ❤️
@@DawnMichelleTarot thank you , I didn’t even think about sharpies bleeding on the cards, and I sure don’t want to mess the cards up ! Is there certain types of markers that you prefer, so I won’t damage my beautiful deck? Thank you 😊
Hi! I tried to find the most recent mod video you have & looks like this is it ...I have a mod question lol. Do u think Oak Ash & Thorn’s card stock would be okay to edge? If so whats the most gentle wAy? I don’t know why I feel like this card stock would bleed or something...same with Wild Unknown’s card-stock. I was thinking of using a Ranger ink pad Distress Oxide in Vintage Photo. I hate to take away the all white, but unless there’s a way to keep them white or clean them I think it would be so much better if I edge them. I’m big on busting out decks & grabbing a book or using whatever hard surface looks clean.
I haven't done any mods on my OAT but, like you, I'm thinking there might be bleed. It's a difft kind of paper than we are used to with decks. I'd probably go distressed ink to be on the safe side as it's archival and tends not to wrap too much around the front or back. However, the cardstock of the OAT might also soak it up into it and I'm not sure what that would do. If it was me, I'd probably try a really light color (something that wouldn't be too noticable if it bleeds) on one of the extra cards. You could start there and see how it reacts to the ink. Then depending on what color you wanted to go, you could darken it. The Antique Linen in the distressed ink might be pretty. Good luck with it, you are braver than I! 😁
I love your mod with me videos so much! I find them so soothing and fun to watch! Please make more
I am so glad you enjoyed them! I definitely have a few more planned for the next few months. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I absolutely love this deck boarders and all.

I love how it turned out! I use mildliners to edge my decks but now I'm going to branch out and use these. Love the rainbow colors!
Mildliners are some of my favorites too, but I love the variety available in the Tombows. Thank you for watching. ❤️

Not a deck for me, but your edge colouring is brilliant as always!! I love seeing the different colours together and then seeing them shuffled in!

Wondering about the TomBows too, have a few but definitely do not want bleeding
One thing I have done when testing marker and how it will fair is to edge on the trimmed off scraps to test for how the cards tock does with it.
