I honestly think Eloise was perfectly casted. I saw so much of Eloise in Claudia that for a moment I thought I was still watching an episode of Bridgerton. Plus she and Nicola (Pen’s actress) have such great chemistry/energy together like Eloise and pen 😍😍😍
The only thing that might be an issue is her age, there’s supposed to be like 7 more seasons if they go by the books. She’s supposed to be in her teens, hopefully she keeps aging well.
Can we all just pause and admire the brilliance of the interviewer...these are well thought questions....not just the regular "what was it like to shoot those raunchy scenes"?
Love Phoebe & Regé, best chemistry ever! Thank God for Season 2. Great interview btw ^^ Best show/series Ive watched on Netflix since covid. Just binge watched it last night & can't get over it. Need to rewatch it! ^^
This interview was so good, the interviewer was so natural and sweet 💕 and sorry but Regé's laugh after saying Penelope would be the biggest snoop... would love to live in Bridgerton 😭
That tradition in the Philippines still happens when suitors would go to the woman's house with gifts and we still do debuts when a girl turns 18, with a "cotillion" which is a choreographed dance of single men and women, usually friends of the debutant. We do it now in hotels but if a girl comes from a simple family, we do it at home, but almost every girl gets a debut.
@@AnxietyRat yess :) We got that tradition from Spain when we were a colony...not sure if they still do that themselves, but definitely still happening here. Google "Debut Philippines" it's all there. 🥰
right? i'm floored that they apparently had a legit corsetmaker make the many corsets in the show but there was not one person to tell them how to properly wear them?? also the tight lacing torture scene literally one minute into the show when a) not a thing in that time period and b) absolutely useless under empire waist dresses.
Pheobe talking about how cool it would be with everyone knowing the same dance moves and routines, yeah, you know, start doing ballroom dances, because everyone doing that learn the same basic steps, and once you know them, all us followers (non-specific gender terms, wohooo) gotta do, is just follow! And leaders lead, ofc. I've experienced dancing a perfect waltz with someone I just met, that was such a rush! :D
Can they tell us the day of season 2 because I will schedule myself to rewatch it ... or never mind I will watch until they decided to bring it out !!!
Usually most of the costumes are returned to a costume company as they are rented but more famous looks by main characters are put into storage for future seasons or archives :)
@@lyrahearst8916 no problem! Yep exactly, they’re reused on other productions as they are or they’re up-cycled/altered by the costume department on shows. For shows set in modern times, they normally buy the clothes as they’re a lot cheaper than period and fantasy costumes, and after the show/movie is wrapped, the clothes are sold to crew, extras and online to recuperate the costs :)

The love I have for Penelope Featherington
Nicola Coughlan!! she's an absolutely brilliant actor too! can't believe she's 33 yrs old irl
I love her
@@gracelola8897 wait
SHE IS WHAAAT????
i love her lol
She is very pretty and I luv her subtle Irish accent, but her blouse makes her body look so weird (big head on small body)!
Finding out the actors who play penelope and elloise were in their 30s was quite a surprise
No they are in their twenties

Yep bring back everything about the men’s fashion except the sideburns please
why not sideburns?
I agree😂😂😂😂...the sideburns weren’t it
@@samborpuskas bc in there opinion they don't like them. I don't like them either but if you do good for you
Anthony's sideburns were a little on the large side, but I will say they did highlight his smile so Im not complaining :)
men in those clothes were GORGEOUS!!!
Absolutely
Thank you so much for this interview and for not just asking about the sex scenes - absolute breath of fresh air!
I love how well they know and understand their characters like the social media question was spot on for all of them! Such a great cast!!

I watched this interview some time ago and know I'm watching again...the actors are very funny, inteligent and so amazing!
I would have done anything to get away with stealing one of the queen’s wigs, to wear on every Halloween forward.
Awww i wanna see the Bridgerton clan being roped in on Hyacinth's tiktok

Wow. It's very surprising to hear that it is something that still happens to this day. Most people think of it as something that was done in the past.

Women didn't wear corsets on skin.... The poor actresses, what was the costume department thinking?!
Have them wear a chemise underneath !
I thought about it the whole timee, although, at least they had corsets fitted for them which is more we can expect from most period pieces
I was screaming everytime
Ooh is that why there was a shot of daphne's back with a bloody wound? That was from her corsets?
