Hey zippy your saying the absolute truth 💯 everything is spinning out of control and we're feeling it. I pray you have an amazing day,and God the Savior bless you and your ministry!
Mocking others is a way of acting superior, but mockers might also try to impose their will upon others. Not giving in to unreasonable demands could also be a kind of testimony, both of one's values and of the ability to lean on God and let it go. I wish you strength dear Zipporah, we are as sheep among the wolves ... completely dependent on God for protection. When we are weak, we are strong.
When I think of the story of Abraham about to sacrifice his son I also look at Isaac's perspective. He was being obedient as well. Being a child I don't think I myself would have just laid there while my father was strapping me to wood or when he saw him raising the knife. But instead he allowed his father to do as he was because he was trusting in God as well. When we are weak or when we give up trying to control and trust in the Lord and let Him have control that's when his strength can be manifested in us. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, KJV 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
"By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; it was he to whom it was said, “In Isaac your descendants shall be called.” He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type." (Hebrews 11:17-19, NASB, 1995 edition)
