- Ludovica is a deer who was adopted by her new dog sibling, Leo. Leo showed her around the farm and took on a father role to her. When Lu was found, she was all alone and her mother never came back for her. So Juliane and Leo decided to look after her. After some time of Leo teaching Lu the ropes, it was time for Lu to make her way back to the forest.

Lulu has the best of BOTH worlds. She has her wild life in the woods, even safer with her orange collar. And she has her domesticated life with her doggy dad and you when she doesn't want to rough it. Living the dream!

That is beautiful these two don’t care if they are not the same species he took care of her when she needed help. To me that says that he is a caring and nurturing soul and that’s a good thing. Humans need to watch this beautiful fur baby and learn from it. He has no hate only love and the baby deer loves him and appreciated him taking her his wing and help her through a bad time in her live. Bravo to you little man

That handsome Leo has the most soulful eyes. Lulu is an exquisite creature! I’ve never been very close to a deer but I can only imagine how wonderful it was to see those two together!

Incredible how this Male Visla Dog. Known as a great pointing hunting dog. Help to look after this abandoned baby Fawn. Truly a remarkable friendship was formed. As one can see both these animals are truly friends. 💪👃✨

Vizlas are brilliant creatures. Ours passed over during covid and was a major loss. We fostered a few dogs while their owners were ill, and she always amazed me how she looked after them all, showing them everything and, in one case, teaching them how to play.

I've always felt sad for our four-legged friends, because they're forced to walk around using all their limbs and are thus denied many expressions of affection we humans enjoy.
Then I noticed that they have figured out how to compensate for this.
They lick.
When they're moved by affection, it would be difficult for them to embrace, or use hands to caress, or to hold the object of their affection. So not much is left but to lick, and that's what they arrived at.
And it's very sweet, and we all know what it means.

Collars on any animal tends to me it's an animal that has a human. Pretty sure most hunters would avoid shooting the animal. Like seeing a tagged bird.

My dog has a wild deer for a friend, they chase one another endlessly- we have a huge un fenced garden on a hill-then when the game is over, the deer very calmly walks away and Cali comes home. During hunting season, the deers come and hide with us, which is why we never put fences up, and didn’t clear up most of the garden, leaving it as it is, a wild nature reserve inhabited by many and forbidden to hunters.
