- One day of exploring the little known country of Armenia in the Caucasus region near Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan and Georgia. I went on a day tour in which we started in the capital city of Yerevan, visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, stopped at two Armenian monasteries, visited the Alphabet Monument, a castle and another monastery and then drove up the side of Mt. Aragats, tallest mountain in Armenia.

THIS IS ARMENIA | Inside A Mysterious Country
Lots of love and respect for Armenians for standing up for their faith against all odds and all kinds of pressure to make their identity and culture vanish from the face of the earth. Stay strong forever. Amen.
Thank you 🙏 it means a lot to see such kind words about my people by someone else
Armen!
Stay strong Armenia, love from a Turk🇹🇷
Thanks!
Means a lot in these hard times. #FreeArtsakh
Armenians first Christians respect from Greece 🇦🇲❤️🇬🇷
I've been to Armenia twice and both times loved it. The people there were so kind and postive.. there is such a different vibe over there its hard to explain but its such a lovely place to live a quiet life...
I agree was there in 2012
Good job Gabriel it's so beautiful country full of culture and amazing people greetings from Thailand
I feel like I'm travelling with a friend. Thanks
A knowledgeable friend!
Armenia looks absolutely fascinating!
Love Armenia and Armenian people .
Much respect and love from Serbian brother!!
Slav Defendov 👍
❤❤❤ much respect to serbia from armenia and much love
The Armenian genocide hasn’t been forgotten, but there was an attempt to cover it up. It always comes up. I happen to be African-American, in California, but I’ve been hearing about this since I was a teen.
Yes, I've heard about it for years as well. I think the difference between the Armenian genocide and the Holocaust is you just hear the Armenian genocide mentioned, you don't hear much about what actually happened, why and for how long it lasted, several decades. In twenty minutes in the museum I learned far more about it than I'd ever known before.
Nubianette It’s true:) As an Armenian I hope we will also learn about African history at school, because it’s usually swiped under the rug. Also guys today the US House of Representatives recognized Armenian Genocide!!! See? Truth always prevails! We will fight until the end, just like us Armenians say : paykar, paykar minchev verch! Which means : fight, fight until the end! 🇦🇲❤️🇺🇸
Nubianette 2Pac was right about fighting for rights of Africans, Mexicans and Armenians, I’m sad that the Illuminati killed him once he started enlightening his listeners about this fucked up organization. The realest always die young:(
A R We’re all in this together. Mutual support!
Gabriel Traveler the more exposure, the better. It doesn’t look like the easiest of destinations because of the limited English, but it’s a good taste. Taste...the food looks yummy! 😊
Wow what a history. Fantastic country, stunning. I really need to go. Greetings from Crete, Greece.
Love Armenia, from brother Lebanon
🇦🇿🇮🇱❤️
Those churches are beautiful. Really nice camera work.

Really love your videos Gabriel, hope you enjoyed your stay in Armenia, you make me really want to go there asap
Cool.
I'd be dying to hike into those clouds
Yeah totally. Wanted to at least hike up to that cross on the hill, but it was a short stop. One of the problems with tours.
The oldest Armenian church and tomb of one of the apostles of Christ is in Iran
Qarah-kilisa(Black Church)⛪️
That's the azeri/turkish name for it
.. Armenian name is after the apostle himself...
@@AK1248
Yes
Qarah Is
But Kilisa Is Persian
Սուրբ Թադէոսի վանք
There is Also Known St.Thaddeus Church
@@patriotofpersia2238 yes true...i should have mentioned that...
It's also worth mentioning, for people who think Iran is an intollerent nation, that there are over 100 Armenian churches in Iran...
@@AK1248 I think there are no Armenians who think it...
Beautiful Gabriel! Thank you 😊❤ stay safe and safe travels 🙏
Small countries don't get enough credit dude! I'm in Réunion right now and no one even knows where it is!!
Agreed. I had to look that one up. Thought it was in the south Atlantic, but it's near Madagascar.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos hahaha you see my problem
As long as the airplane can find it, that's the important thing.
@S M wow nice one dude! Most people have no idea
@S M hahaha yeh I bet
Thanks, Gabriel. Man has and always has, continued to try and make his mark in this world. As, his prevailing emotions have lead him
Hi Gabriel, that was an interesting manner of presenting an alphabet, I haven't something so quite unique those odd set of letters. Armenia is definitely a very interesting travel destination not on most people’s radar.
And no... The S looking letter is not the letter 's'... Can't say what it is coz English alphabeth ends at 26 😈
Beautiful 😊
Fascinating landscapes and memorial to Armenian genocide. Ty Gabriel for sharing.
Good presentation along with peaceful and beautiful tone of background music.
Excellent job as usual. Thank you.
Loving your Armenia videos Gabe, great you've given yourself time to fully appreciate its amazing sights and culture. Especially nice to see Saghmosavank again as my wife and I were married there in May last year!
Gabe great video, love the music selection.
The area of these buildings @15:50, was a big scientific research center in the Soviet Armenia on astronomy and physics. I think it's abandoned now. The video is very useful, thank you.
does someone lives there? for we saw one guy in the window and greeted us. but after that he never came down. we have some photos which is unexplainable. we will post it on youtube.
Amazing stuff mate
Great vlogging Gabriel

Sooo freaking interesting Gabe 😎 some hidden gems in Armenia, that’s for sure 👌🏼 the detail in that church is awesome and it seems like a one piece decor or something 🤩👍🏼 safe travels dude 😌🙏🏼 You have an idea of where you’re going next or are you still deciding?
Thanks man. This is my last video from Armenia. Arrived in another country two days ago. Working on the video today.

Hello nice video looking for the next saludos
You have to wonder why they would have built a monastery on the side of a canyon? Although when the original one was built the canyon was probably not as wide.
Cool video...Awesome shot @ about 11:53
Say hello to my kababayan from the Philippines.
More and more Filipinos are visiting Georgia and Armenia. These two countries are more relaxed, welcoming, and Christian nations same as the Philippines. Somehow we feel "home".
It's so funny: living in Yerevan I haven't ever visited Hovhannavank Monastery, which is actually so close to Yerevan. I've seen it from the highway several times and was thinking to visit it one day, and it's this video that motivated me to do it as soon as possible. It has unique and nice interior. Thanks for showing it to us!!!
And at the end of the video, there was the scientific center of Aragats - a place where physics investigate cosmic rays. Also there is an observatory in Byurakan, which located on the average heights of the Aragats mount.
LOVE YOU AMENIAN BROTHERS !!
Yes...became the first Christian country in 301. The Scriptures were written in Greek. The king wanted the Scriptures to be written in the Armenian language. Mashtots was commissioned to develop that language. For one year I lived on Mesrop Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan. Very nice city.
Fake... Armenians were deported to Irevan and Karabakh Khanates after Gulustan treaty in XIX century
My great-great grandmother was killed in the Armenian genocide by a Turkish soldier- he sliced her in half while she was 8 months pregnant- my great grandpa escaped as a young child and was able to come to the US!
Love your videos! Strumbled across you since you went to Armenia! I don’t know if the music in the beginning suited with the Genocide memorial though
... And too afraid to offend Turks... Didn't even talk abt what happened... Pretty much like his government!
*OMG youre here?! we are here as well!! we came in mount aragats yesterday and now it is covered in snow. please tell us nobody lives on the top of the mountain. actually we went inside that gate and someone greets us from the window on one of the houses but after that we asked our tour guide who lives there and said nobody lives there. we are going to post our vlog soon*
Gabe, the place you mentioned abandoned resort, it says in Armenian “arakadz science station.”
I see, thanks.
hi ken! we just went inside that station. but is someone lives there?
Juandae Life No it’s a science station. Maybe abandoned. But says no entry. Be careful.
@@kenounjian9684 to tell youth e truth we saw someone from the window greeting us hello but we never see him going down and we found out that building is locked. I will update you once we uploaded our vlog.
Juandae Life thanks.
Incredible
I love ❤️ the music
If you’ve noticed all churches have the name vank in them
Vank means monastery
I see, good to know, thanks.
That's cool that you can see Ararat all the way from Yerevan! Ararat forms a near quadripoint between Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Iran
The garden of eden was roughly translated to mountainous fortress which is in Armenia
The sign of that last place you couldn't get in said "Aragats scientific station", may be abandoned maybe not.
Good thing I didn't trespass.
who's watching this during the war
Are you going further East Gabriel, like Turkmenistan? They are very unknown Countries to most Westerners, Iam sure your subs will increase if you go to these amazing Countries!
Unfortunately getting a visa is not very straightforward
This country is my bucket list.
no time to climb to the south peak? it's really quick and easy
thank you Buotifol country I LOVE TO SEE ARMENIA
There is a place in yerevan named mesrop mashtots avenue i visited there when i was in first year of my medical school
16:16 Those are electricity pylons. They look a bit dissheveled.
I like Armenia😍
You didn't go to the oldest church in the world Echmiadzin ? Its close to Yerevan aswell.
No, I didn't end up going there. A bunch of places I wanted to visit in Armenia but didn't get the chance. I'll plan to go back again sometime.
You should try Iran it's a very beautiful and welcoming country. Don't worry you'll have fun I promise.
I never Knew I can travel to Armenia from Tbilisi. I should have done that during my two weeks visit in Tbilisi...
No opinion on the history of the Memorial?
Where's the ark? Great videos thank's
Supposedly it was discovered on the side of Mt. Ararat in Turkey. Experts are highly skeptical: www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-5020131/Experts-claim-Noah-s-Ark-Mount-Ararat.html
Hello from California
Please please, please do not move your camera too fast. I get sick. You are doing great job. Showing unknown things.
We done. Try to remember not
To Cam-----.:) :)👍😢
🥴
Good morning their ✌🏼
I have actually bean right there
It was a good decision to visit Turkey "before"
Yes he probably wouldn't visit Turkey after that trip.
you mean western Armenia ;)
You have to be careful and pan the camera a little bit slower. I get motion sickness watching the footage. It's a shame because i like the content...
Greetings from Germany. What a beatiful Country! 🙏
Fun fact Armenia was the first Christian country
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
❤️💙🧡
I’ve seen photos of the people who were massacred by Ottoman Turks very sad. In my life I come across with many Armenian people and to me they are very friendly hard working and family oriented. I do have Turkish friends as well and the ones I know are educated who are respectful good people. To me I love all humanity because there is good and bad in all
Well said.
