It's crazy how much work goes in into such a small project 😵‍💫

The best instructions I’ve ever seen on TH-cam. Very thorough and easy follow. I appreciate how you explain options for people who don’t have a lot of tools. Best of all you provide easy to understand dimensions. I’ll will start following you and telling “makers” about you. Good luck, looking forward to following and making more projects

Need to make an elevated dog dish for my older dog and my search led me here. So glad I found your video! This will be my next project. Thanks so much for your help and tip on your poly finish.

Nice job John, I made a raised feeder for my pup a couple years ago also. Putting the pocket holes in later was not a big deal, not sure I would classify it as a mistake.

Nice job John, i bought the porter cable quick jig. After watching your review and absolutely love it. Now I am going to replace my biscuit joiner with the one you are using. Thanks John

+Charles Camilleri I really like the Porter Cable biscuit joiner. It was one of the very first woodworking tools that I bought.

I want to know how you did that... I'm trying to get a start but want to mainly focus on hand tools and not the power tools. Maybe eventually I'd get into power tools. But not yet.

I like how you used your router to make the bowl holes. I see your router raises and lowers which is a cool feature. Mine is more basic so I may drill a pilot hole to start my cut but I def want to make that jig for my router. Also I was wondering if your bowls are 7 inches and you measured 7 inches for your cut, why didn't the bowls fall thru the holes if they are the same size? Really cool looking holder. Turned out beautifully. Thanks for posting and giving me some tips. Wish me luck!

I would want to know how to make something like this without power tools. Just hand tools. If you can do a video on that -it would be cool.

Couple questions: Are you using a sock to stain the first time? Can you please do a video how you made your Circle cutting tool? What are those legs sitting on when you stained your work? Thanks. Looks amazing

Can you make a bigger bowl one? I literally only ever find this size you used. I get the idea would be to just a bigger peice of wood. But idk I don't ever see anyone making the bigger sized bowls like my dog uses. The small bowls are so messy so thats why we went with bigger ones he loves em. I'm just thinking I should raise it a little not too much tho bc ik it's not good to have it raised too high. I was thinking the height you did but bigger bowls. I don't have all the fancy things you used to hold the legs together or that screw knot thing. Was hoping mainly wood glue and screws would do

What an awesome project. Fantastic work my friend. I love this. Simple and easy. I don't have a biscuit joiner, but I do have a Kreg jig. My late father loved woodworking stuff. I very much got his passion even though I don't have his tools. I'm loving my Ryobi tools. This raised dog food bowl project has been on my to do list for quite some time. Your video is easy to follow and understand and you were a joy to watch and listen to. You kept my attention the whole time. Keep up the great work. New subscriber here. Can't wait to go see what other videos you have.

#seen this one in fact had to look again, sorry people Angus was not allowed to come back on TH-cam as he was selling replica Bollywood doll's to the Monk's of libia and not sending the money over so as you can imagine bin Laden's crew were not happy, and he has no shame he hit the Muslim officer with a packet of bacon for the £2.99 fine and 50 hours community service he received.....,.,.

if you wish for your project to stay in one piece as the seasons change, don't build your table this way. you need to allow for wood movement in your top or all of your work will be a waste of time.
