- I almost didn’t video this but I’m sure glad I did! This was a last minute deal, we needed to sort the calves off the Brahma cows since we didn’t get to it in the fall. It made for some good dancing lessons!

Thanks for this, it was fabulous! Love the editing. Keep them coming and stay safe.
Thanks, Kevin!
The dance edit made laugh out loud. I too dance with brahmas from time to time helping on my buddy's farm.
Nice set of working pens... only thing missing is a good dog for those crazy cattle. My collie would be in heaven working those cows.
A well trained Australian shepherd , collie or Blue healer would have cut this job by a fifth in time.
The dancing was funny you should do that more often you made my day. Lol 🙂👍
HaHa... Show 'em who's boss Colton! Delighted to see a new vid from you... all the best to you and your family!
Thank ya 😉
Those cattle bring crazy to a new level
The dance is great! Love the humor
Welcome back. We missed you. Your videos are always the best. Excellent editing I think that one horned devil wanted to do the Texas 2 step with you. Watch that rascal and stay safe.
Texas 2 step would have been a good title!! Thank you.
@@TheFarmGuy Texas 2 step with mean cows. Next step after the stare down.
Those brahmas and tiger striped cows can give some attitude. I think I’ve had that same dance with mine. Glad to see you back.
Great to watch. Loved that fancy footwork. The cattle are awesome.
Love the replay thing. Dang you got a lot of jumpin calves. Man them Brahman cows with horns can be a little scary. Like something out of a scary movie.
Was a good dance !!! great video, make anyone smile. thanks
I "met" a Brahma bull at the California State Fair some years ago and he was the sweetest ting every. I scratched his head and ears for a very long time and he loved it. Now obviously he was not in breeding mode at that time so can't speak to what other possible behavior he might show.
Y’all need send that crazy cow to town lol
Cool video man. Looks like fun bein in there with them. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
That dance was awesome!
I thought that dark faced Brahma was gonna get ya! They sure do have an attitude! lol
Gotta love those stripes, hard to beat their hardiness in East Texas. Been looking at a few more to add to our herd, they just out preform my Herefords.
Hilarious dance scene!!!!!!
hahahaha!!! thats the best barn dancing Ive ever seen!!!
She is straight up giving you a challenge and the trouble is the other cows are watching and learning. I'd be reserving her some room in my freezer!
Been waiting a long time for him to post
Welcome back its been a minute I am glad to see you back. That white cow has eyes for you. Nice dance moves. The one with horns is kind of scary to me. I have been hit by a goat and it hurt like hell I can just emagine what a cow would do. Be careful and safe out there to you and your dad.
So happy to see you back!! Love your videos!! Really good to see your baby is doing well 😀
Thank you. She’s one of the reasons I’ve been on a little of a delay lol but no worries!
Yep crazy horn needs a trailer ride to town!!
Ain't nothing like Saturday morning farming and ranchin
Nice dance moves there bud.
Y'all got some hellish dance moves there buddy
That last mom didn't want to give up that cafe.
I like how quiet you are working with this cows
Enjoy working and sorting them cattle with your dad every time you get to do it. It remains me of me and my dad He just don’t seam to be getting upset like mine used to.🐮
For sure man 🙏
Jgdkkiigd
Nice dance moves lol great video fellas
I had an agriscience teacher in HS who said her Brahman was the best farm security she'd ever had. 👀
the dancing part was so funny
Lol the dancing was funny
Well done young man. You have beautiful cattle.
We had those flop ears girls when I was growing up. They each have their own attitude. They sure do throw some pretty babies though
One cow has taken self defence classes, hahaha
couple of those big grey cows have got your number ;). You do well to work your livestock and not argue with your Dad or have your Dad yelling at you how to get it done. Still amazed you don't run them through the race/chute and draft like that. One day one of those cows is going to rub you in the dirt. Still good videos mate, takes time and effort to set up cameras when you need to be getting stuff done. I bet your old man rolls his eyes occasionally at you setting up the cameras.
The most wild to me and when pressed will certainly jump a fence
Just subscribed and started watching! I work cows with my dad too! First thing I notice different between y'all and us, is there's a lot more cussin' going on when we're workin', than when y'all are!! Lol! Great channel, keep up the great work!
Hahaha yeah we have those times too! Thank you!
Man she has an attitude.
Shit some of them Brahma Cows will get yo ass
There’s always that one even if u get rid of her somehow there always them one when sorting😂
Where's Buster? I have no doubt he would have been a tremendous help❣🤣🤣🤣 I truly love that dog❣ I don't think anyone ever realized just how physically fit you have to be to work cattle. I'm in awe ❣
I wish he was there too! It was kind of a last minute deal, dad ending up catching them in the pen and we had to sort them real quick. Buster got caught sleeping at home and not working 😂
@@TheFarmGuy Hey! That explains it, several of us have been hoping for a couple of speedy Shelties to jump in...our first childhood dog was also Buster, sweet!
Awful hard work there fellas, good job done :))
That Brahman at the end is huge
Would make hamburger out of old crazy eyes lol
The Dancing, thanks for the laughs hehehe Not only extremely good lookin but also talented:-)
Good old Brahma cows sometimes I think they are just claustrophobic 😂
The dancing is so funny
Buster would've had that job done in 20 minutes 😂😂
That dance got you another sub. head on a swivel, stay safe.
I'm biased, but I think Brahman cattle are the most "honest" cattle I've ever been around. Some are definitely born more high strung, we do our best to cull them asap, but for the most part their handling has a lot to do with their attitudes. I know you know that and have seen you comment about previous handling. They are very intelligent. If their fear and fast action is met with fear and fast action it has a cascading effect and they get more fearful and faster.
That's a very nice set up you have there, but maybe a little tough to do the job you're doing in it with Brahmans, especially ones that have been handled poorly at some point. The facilities and stockmanship skills you can use on your average cattle don't necessarily translate to being able to handle others with little stress on people and animals.
little bit of educating and working with the cattle makes a huge difference.
Shalom! I'm a new subscriber from Nigeria, love your work. I'm farmer, started with a couple of sheep, and then last week i added one ewe, a male calf and one female calf. The female (Rosa) is so easy to move and gives me no trouble, but the male calf (Bouncer) is something else. Always trying to ram me with his head. And i have no help, its just me.
Cows can be scary honestly
They’re a little too rowdy for my place. Good thing you have excellent pens. Wonder what happened to her one horn
These pens have taken a beating lol. She’s been like that ever since I can remember. Wouldn’t doubt she broke it off running into a gate back in the day.
Nice foot work!
I believe that one horned bugger would take you if you gave her half a chance !
The meanest and most all around contrary cattle breed I’ve ever dealt with is the charolais. We only had a few but one in particular would get the cattle stirred up every time we hat to work them. I’ve only been around one brahma cow but I’ve heard a lot about them.
Brahman and Hereford crossbreed nice
GREAT!!
Get a few Nelore. They know how to Samba and rumble.
Notice that they put the white faces out front. 'Please, Mr. Custer, I don wanna go'
They may be crazy but they sure know how to raise them babys
Got that right!
Awesome video!!
I like them brahmans been looking for some
Nice moves lol. What do you call that, the steel trough trott or the feed bunk boogie???? LAMO
Nice pens but I suggest installing a long narrow chute with a sort gate(s) on it
If you do that and every single time you put them in the pen run them through the chute they will fly through that chute and all you do then is work the sort gate
Also couldn’t tell if you did this or not never ever turn them out the same way you brought them in.
Nice group of cows.
Thanks. I know what you’re talking about. The only problem with that is they start feeling too crowded. That’s when they try to jump and/or little ones get trampled.
You need a red cape !🐂🐂😷👍
Ooo I thought that calf had you bucking like that
Great job filming, what part of texas are you from
Thank you. North Texas
Colton, hope all is well with you and your family. You all survived the brutal weather we had last week? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
We survived! It was quite the ride but feels like spring is here now it changed so quick!
Brahman cows are the best for cross-breeding with Herefords you can't beat a tiger stripe in Texas.
Nice camera work and editing!
Thank you
Chama na capa country 🤣👍🔥
You make a great dancer. L0L
A Paint ball gun works nice for stubborn n dangerous cows like that. When hit with the paint ball, it will sting a little but won’t do any damage but make a spotted cow lol. You may have a cow running around with a spot of pink, blue, white or whatever color ball you choose to shoot her with until it rains then the color will wash off. It will make the cow move n end standoffs.
You got a bunch of Brahmas and Herefords, but what are the other mixed looking breeds there?
In this video it should be the Brafords which is the mix from the two breeds you said above!
Ole Cody Webster dont have any moves like that. That's good stuff there.
Hahaah is funny, cause here in Paraguay we use brahmans like a "tool breed" they are amazyng and huge animals.
Ya they do make you dance I had 4 broken ribs and a crack chest from one
How's your little girl doing? Thanks for the video, it's been a while.
She’s doing great, thanks for asking! She’s one of the reasons that it’s been a while since an upload lol. That and the weather we deal with mid month.
They might be wild but those big brahman and tigerstripes are the best farming cow in Americas Africa Asia Australia
Get yourself a green rain jacket to sort cattle, it makes noise when needed, works to block them when necessary, and diverts them very good with a slap on the back side👍. Works much better, my opinion, than a stick with a paddle.
Those Brahmas look like they would enjoy trampling you or make a hat out of ya!!!
Not sure what the purpose of this is but ya I get it right away that you gotta pay attention and have experience with these big ole boys and girls !! You’ll get hurt quick without remorse from them. They don’t care.
them will hurt you put them good hereford bulls with Angus cows that will be easier work with but there will always one or more that will give you trouble good video man
Hahah that's mild compared to some of them Brahman in aus m8 thought u yanks was real cowboys pmsl. Na but Brahman are a very cranky breed at times if not handled.
@@thedeviltoldme215 if not handeld! Is the key!
Woo woo👍🏻
You need at least 2or 3 Hanging Tree Cow Dogs to handle that Bunch!!
Such beautiful cattle you guys raise and own. It as actually nice to see how some beef cattle do live. I know nothing about beef cows not to much with cows just basics and dairy mostly. What does one the achieve by breeding these two different types of cows? It's a real question I'm not trolling. I really would like to know? I get bruhma's originate from halfway across the world correct? The other is from English in origin?
Have u tried a technique I don't know what it's called but u apply pressure aka move towards them till they move then release the pressure aka move away. Makes for cattle sorting easier and safer.
Lol yeah tried that once or twice
@@TheFarmGuy didn't work for u. Them Brahman can be difficult at times. Look up too end ringers in australia. Ur Brahman are placid compared to them m8 lol
@@thedeviltoldme215 they weren’t cooperating too good that day. Usually can get most cows in the first one or two goes.
@@TheFarmGuy Na good work m8 keep it up love the videos. Love seeing the difference between aus and American cattle handling and just farming in general keep em comin
@@thedeviltoldme215 I agree it is very interesting to see the differences and ways of life from two places across the globe. Thank you.
Very cool, brasileiro watching 👏🇧🇷
Amzang
The one horned stink eye 👁 !!
The cattle with the big horn look like the Guzerá breed. Very common here in Brazil. Also, if you think Brahman is crazy, you haven’t seen Nelore breed yet ...
good chance a couple of those greys had a fair bit of nelore in them, definitlely a lot of guzerat in them. Nelore and Indu Brazil type cattle let you know your alive that's for sure.
Hey do you have merch?
I am working on it big time! A lot of people requesting it so it’s coming very soon.
Dang Neared it!!!
She just wants to whisper sweet nothings in your ear. 😏😂
Haha I’m sure she would if I gave her the chance!
Sou brasileiro e gostei do vídeo 🐂🐃🐄🐮
I'm American and I did too.
Hello, I am the first to see your video and comment. Greet me
Good to see you guys.I don't know if thats dancing or just playing chicken, I think those Brahma cows just want to kill you and breeding herford doesn't seem to com them calves. Hope 2021 is a better year and look forward to more videos. thanks
Yeah it’s pretty wild that they’ve done this time and time again but never settle down, thank you!
I wonder if CHICKENS call it DANCING??? Lol, either way I'm an Original Tasty kinda guy, hehehe POW POW Ol Son
@@chrisoldham2772 chickens don’t dance 😂
Hi just watched your video about the bull that got his leg stuck when he jumped the gates you did everything right and your son was safe at all times so Jeff can go jump he ain't a dad I guess
Why is one hand in his pocket? And why didn’t he use a whip flag?
Maybe my hand was cold? I didn’t want to use a flag. Stirs them up a bit more too
Brahmas and wild cattle in general are just not worth it. There are too many other breeds out there to choose from. Cattle adapt and after some time most cattle will perform well in any environment. Nice work! Stay safe!
I want to get a Hereford bull so bad
