Ah thank you! This was a really tough one with all the different shots and angles as well as trying to make high frame rate GoPro footage look as good as I can. Cloudy, rainy, and the sun coming out made for so many different color imbalances but hey, I tried! Thanks again.
As always Colton, awesome video; continue on what your doing on the family ranch. At the end it's all worth it. AMEN 🙏🙏 God bless you and your family. Happy Father's Day to your "PoP" and to you.
F1 are NO JOKE, still like to know why is that breed so damn wild. Took me 2hrs, to load a semi of 36 HD. DAMN things was wild as hell, running and jump gates like crazy.
Beautiful cattle. I grew up with all black angus and raise all red angus now (so pretty uninteresting on the color spectrum). IDK if I would trade though, mine are pretty mild mannered lol. Very nice video!

Just curious do you cross with Brahman to get the larger frame, does their hardiness do better in your area, or one of those family type traditions you like having on the farm? Or maybe a little of all 3?
They can handle the heat really well and yeah, the larger frame means they hardly ever have trouble calving. They make for some really good cows to raise a calf.
Knew a guy once that hauled Floridian Swamp Cattle out of Ocala, Floridz ...He said that they were wild And they tried to haul them straight thru tithe feedlots in West Texas...
My siblings and I had some brahman calves when we were young. My steer would sail over the fence every time we were ready to send him to the sale, so he was three years old by the time we were able to send him off to the sale barn. I don't care for cattle that have wildness in their genes.
The striped steers will go to a special sale. Can’t just take them anywhere or you will lose a bunch of them. We kept all of the striped heifers and black baldie heifers.
There are some old boys down here in Florida. Have some corral wrecking bulls I’m sure they will ship your dad two or three of them. Fine wicked crazy Bremmer both! Will boost your herd!! Lol. 😉
Yeah probably 2-3 out of the whole crew that really don’t mind running you over. 9 times out of 10 they will go around you but there’s always those few that think otherwise!
Haven't you heard of a drafting race, one run through and the jobs done. It would take all year if you had to draught a couple of thousand head of properly wild cattle like they have to on Australian cattle stations. Why have all the feeders and troughs in the working yards, it's a good way to injure yourself or the cattle. Probably need a better set of yards.
Why do I never see videos of wild cattle in these drafting circles or whatever? It would take a long time no matter what you’re using when you have a 3-4 way split
@@TheFarmGuy Search Australian cattle stations, outback ringers, cattle mustering, bull catching, cattle draughting there's plenty there. Draughting, branding, castrating 1500 head mixed mob a day per 9 man team is about where you need to be.
@@TheFarmGuy that’s a load of rubbish. I work on cattle farms in Australia and they have better designed of what you got. Plus we don’t work as hard of what you do and less stress on cattle
@@bulterify I knew you were in AUS. Everyone from there will say they do it better lol. The reason this looks like a mess is because we had so many splits. Making a two way cut goes fast and easy but you throw in some high headed crosses and it makes it a little tougher.

Quite a roundup to day. Ultimately, its complete. Thanks for the video and chat. See young on the next.

One of the reasons I like working cattle is, they are surprisingly agile. So much so that I can be kinda nerve racking.
Man you must have eyes in the back , side and top of your head . Respect from an old cattleman .
Your a crazy man you work very hard bro
Great job until next time
Now I know why I don't do that stuff anymore. Too darn old and cows are crazy. Buster looked like he enjoyed the shower. Haha!
Can't you find any cattle with a little more spirit?

You had some wild cattle.
Just curious why you don’t work them a horseback?
Me too.
Beautiful looking cattle man. They are have such great body conditions, and are so active. I love it. They are pretty much wild
Ever thought about getting a circle drafting pen every cattle yard in Australia has the so much easier and makes the cattle easier to work
Nope, don’t see any in Texas at least. Show me an example or link a video of it.

What breeds did u cross the Brahmans with other than Hereford

Wow calving season must be interesting 😳
G'day. Wondering why you don't use a race and crush with drafting to sort them? Much safer for you and the animals...
I'm just wondering why you run Brahman crosses. Is it because they calve easier? I'm not knocking anything you are doing. I'm just curious.
That’s a plus and they can handle our brutal summer heat as well as producing good beef calves!
Awesome video!!!
good video man good job
Amazing footage for sure......but I am happy our (dairy) cows were a LOT less rowdy
I love your videos but I wouldn't last working your cattle! I think they rank on the Docility scale somewhere around Wild? LOL
