75% qualifying chance: Ireland, Finland

35% qualifying chance: Azerbaijan, Luxembourg
10% qualifying chance: Moldova, Australia, Iceland
It will be a very exciting semi-final and I can't wait to see it.

Luxembourg is in a specific situation though. On one hand we have them returning after 30 years so there will definitely be enthusiasm for voting for them, however the song and the fact it's about her brother who is in the IDF and all that Israel/Gaza Mumbo Jumbo, it all really comes down to if the voters KNOW if the song is about him and if the commentators on the national televisions mention that so it's in a peculiar situation if people will be aware of the situation or not and how they end up voting. I wouldn't put this is a higher position per se but this COULD be a dark horse entry (and ending up doing poorly in the final).
Poland I believe that, even though it doesn't stand out that much (aside of Luna's aesthetic which is so pleasing to the eye) would realistically have a higher chance of qualifying due to the Polish diaspora and how she stands out visually, a more engaging performance would help her a lot tho.
Ireland I would also put higher because there is really no demographical competition for the votes. Us weirdos would vote for the entry to be honest so I don't really think there would be much debate there, unless the staging and performance end up being bland and "normie" as hell.
Slovenia I unfortunately put lower because of how strong Croatia and Serbia are, that unfortunately they will take each other points and Slovenia would have to struggle a bit to qualify. A stronger performance would definitely help her though.

Yeah I underestimated Poland last year thinking BEJBA would come dead last but she came third in the semi 😂😅 I've also been told polish fans make up a very large percentage of viewers so I definitely think Poland will qualify this year even though the song isn't for me 😅🥲

I pretty much agree with your predictions, but I have doubts about the Lithuanian song. Maybe I'm wrong but the vocals seems too processed to me and I'm not sure it will have good live quality to make it to the Final.
I feel the same way about Lithuania. I have seen videos of him performing live and it is not good.

Azerbaijan is only etno pop in that semi the reason you are just only don’t see it in grand final I guess it’s political which you stated previous top 37 video. In the stage it could shine and pop out from the others. If you will read the comments under the song it’s just everyone loved there is not so much negative comments there and it gives a big hope and stage predicting to be a huge so, it will. It is one of the good songs full of art song side with Portugal and Serbia and Ukraine people who loves real music will appreciate this 🙂
Agree, people are underestimating Finland. Just remember Käärijä in UMK versus Käärijä on the Eurovision stage. Windows95 man will come with even more crazy staging and show for sure ✨
I don't know. Ca Ca Ca is a song people liked and listened to... and still do. The staging was phenomenal but the song was the real bait. This year's Finland is like a joke entry. I don't listen to the song, and I don't know anyone who does. People think the staging is funny, and it is, but that's about it

@@elvinam888 Agree! I know the fan bubble loves to hate it, for some odd reason, but fan bubble is not everyone, and some may yet be surprised... (I must admit it does feel really strange, though, to go from being the most loved entry last year to being the most hated this year (by fans)... ;(
@@florennathe fan bubble hate it cause they wanted Sara to win and are bitter about that. But a general ESC viewer won’t be aware of that drama. I think No rules is fun and hope it does well. Though Käärijä was on another level. I like the show and stage performance of No rules but never listen to the song outside of that. Cha cha cha on the other hand was probably one of my most listened songs from last year.

I agree for the most part, I just think that Poland is in and Portugal is out, with the Uk and Ireland and Germany voting in this semi, Poland will get some high points just from those 3 countries, and if they get enough 1, 2 & 3 points from other countries. They could make it 8th-10th
I think Azerbaijan has better chances to qualify than Cyprus. As we have seen last year, running order is really important in a televote only semifinal bc countries in the second half have higher chances to qualify... I think the rest of the world are giving them points (similar to Albania who got the 12 last year), Moldova, Ukraine, Cyprus, Serbia... so doesn't make sense to put them in the last category. Tbh it seems like u don't want them to qualify but I think we have to keep it real haha - so I think the chances are high for Azerbaijan qualifying
I think Australia's live performance will be fantastic, I cannot wait to see it. The music video is awful lol but in fairness they didn't know they were going until quite close to when they had to release their song (due to contract negotiations) and our funding for Eurovision acts is weird so they'd definitely be trying to save it all for the actual performance. I really hope they go harder with the Aboriginal elements and I cannot wait to see what they come up with. Even if they don't qualify they will definitely give an amazing performance as anyone who has seen them live can testify.

I hate people who blend politics to culture. I know Azerbaijan this year is strongest country but Armenians is strong in Europe and have big effect on Europeans due to this they will try kick off Azerbaijan. I don't know why this person doesn't react Azerbaijan's entry

3 novelty songs in the final ( Netherlands , Croatia and Finland ) will split the novelty vote ensuring that none of them will win . Difficult to predict who will actually win this year . Staging is going to be more important than ever for everyone .

Anyway, I don't believe Croatia will win - my bet is it will be 2nd or 3rd, which would be record-great result for Croatia anyway. And I admit I wouldn't mind this scenario, since we (Finland) were prevented from winning last year - yes, prevented, by juries - with a similar but more original song, I'd feel bad if Croatia won with a copy (though a good one) of Käärijä's entry...

Agree with all your predictions, except I'd swap Australia and Cyprus into "Probably not" category and instead put Poland into "Probably qualifying" 😉 If you want reasons, Australia and Cyprus are so generic and forgettable, while Poland is a bit more memorable (and seems often to get more televotes).

I think you are wrong about Cyprus and Moldova - traditionally stats say one of the openers and one of the first three songs won't Q plus there will be more or equal amounts of NQers in the first to the second that all points to me to Cyprus NQing - yes its a girl bop but the community overates them and Luxembourg are closing and doing the same thing. Poland also have shonky vocals and being between heavy hitters Ukraine and Croatia working against them - BUT their neighbour and dispora pool is huge so i really dont know with them. It doesnt have Bayba's meme value but its not as shit as The Ride. Moldova tend to do poorly with slower songs even O Mie didn't Q with televoters and that was a)much stronger b)in the days when they could possibly rely on Russia and Romania to vote for them.

I think Poland will qualify. They do well in the televote and I think she has a uniqueness to her voice that people will like (sort of like Lena) I actually quite like the song myself.
Azerbaijan will qualify 100%. Even thou Azerbaijan's neighbours are not in this semi final, the song serves quality, culture and talent. This entry most certainly under rated. From your list - Serbia, Finland and Ireland 90% will Not qualify. The rest I agree more or less. And Lithuania is a big risk. The song is popular even thou I don't like it. However the guy can't sing live. It may flop in the live performance. On the contrary Iceland's artist Hera Bjork is very well experienced singer with great voice. So I won't be surprise if Iceland qualifies.
I honestly don't like Australia's participation. I know eurovision is supposed to be only about songs but I also think it's about peace and unity between us, and I don't think Australia fits in there in that regard. It's not a country I'd vote for.

Meh we have a strong European heritage and we have supported a lot of European countries in our history, as well as supporting Eurovision for decades. It's not like the competition (even before we joined) is only European countries. I'm glad most people have been very welcoming of us. I know there's still so much bias against Australia being in Eurovision that will probably mean we never win no matter how good our song is but I'm still grateful we get to be part of it. It's not about the winning for me. I've loved Eurovision for such a long time and its been lovely having my own country in there. Though my fave this year is Norway :D
As always, I'm the one freak that loves the songs that have it difficult to make to the final. This year the songs are from Poland and Ireland. LOL
Poland is surely in the Final
I think I'd put Australia in the probably not qualifying but might surprise category. It's a feel good anthemic song but Poland is kind of in the same lane (it's cute and feel good) and Poland has a huge diaspora which can steel points that would go to Australia. Plus Australia's entry this year isn't anything out of the box and if they will be out between two very strong songs in the semi they will get lost as well

Gde bre naša Teya da se kvalifikuje, na srpskom se ne razume šta peva a kamoli Evropa. Onda, mumlanje ne može da prođe ni pod tačkom razno. Onda, dobiće running spot number 2. Onda, ovo nije Džanum, jebo vas više taj Džanum, ovo je jedna katastrofa i najgora numera koju Srbija ikada šalje u istoriji čak i kao Jugoslavija, užas živ.

@@Gotivan_qul da,na kladionici jesmo 20ti sada. Ako ste pratili pre,Srbija nikad na kladionicama nije bila na nekoj lepoj poziciji. Medjutim,u preko 90 posto anketa,klipova i ostalog Srbiju stavljaju u top 10. Tako da ce se sigirno kvalifikovati. Tacan plasman je neizvesan za mnoge zemlje ove godine.
Ne znam zašto se ljudi bune da ne razumeju šta Teya peva. Pretpostavljam da je to neko izmislio i sad svi prepisujete. Takođe, nebitno je čak i da mumla, jer 98% publike ne razume Srpski jezik. Mogla je da peva i na izmišljenom jeziku
