That card has already been played. I think Charles' concern is about Harry's mental stability. I don't think he realizes that allowing his delusions to continue is worse than stripping the titles. Like Andrew, Harry can never go back, so just take the titles already.

I see so much of the late Prince Phillip in Prince William. I continue to thank the lord that he was the first born. As he’s aging he looks so much like the late prince and thank goodness has his no nonsense attitude. I think behind the scenes he has spent a lot of time with his grandfather and seeing Prince William walking with his hands behind him l think is a carbon copy of the him.

It is understood that royalty must not use their titles for commercial gain, hence the introduction of the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall. These stop any need for royalty to "sell" themselves to the highest bidder and be subject to bribery, blackmail and corruption. Now we have H&M using their titles for personal profit, against the late queens orders so action must be taken.
The King has no power to do anything and neither does Prince William. Our Royal Family is constrained by the Constitution and the Law.

Prince William has every right to be angry. He has good reason. However, cutting someone off is sometimes necessary. TO&TOW have nothing else to keep them in the spotlight. They never will outshine the Wales'. Envy, hatred, contempt, and jealousy are manifested by TO&TOW in everything they do. They disrespected Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, so why would they stop disrespecting his family now? One day, TO will need his family, and they just might not be there. He's shown his true colors for too long on the public stage, and people are fed up. Yet TO&TOW think they're justified. Nothing is hurting the monarchy, they are always circumspect on these kinds of matters, they don't need to do or say anything, the Queen always had that policy, and it's the best way to treat h&m. Nobody does. A Constitutional Monarch is forbidden to get involved in parliamentary affairs. He cannot ask advise or order anything of our democratically elected Parliament.

Prince William is doing what's best for his family and the monarchy. Princess Catherine may have wanted the brothers to reconcile in the past but I don't think she will push it. After all, Prince William knows his family history. He can easily take a page from The Queen Mother!
