I finally put together a good outfit. I bought my Cabela's WLx 3-4wt reel and a Moonshine Epiphany 10'6' 3wt. I like that it has a small fighting but to maneuver the rod easier. Bill rocks BTW!

Hi Alex, Yes the Black Nickel or Gun Metal bead head is hard to find right now. I do tie them myself but you can try the The Fly Fiend www.theflyfiend.com He has a Calmwaters fly box available plus he can make anything up you want. Great quality and price.

I used an Echo Shadow 11 ft rod the other day (excellent rod btw) but did conclude that my 13 foot Dragontail Nirvana 400 is superior for the euronymphing style.
fwiw I’ve landed a 18” rainbow and 17” smallmouth before on the Nirvana 400.
