I have Before We Were Strangers in my TBR but I didn't pick it up yet, and now that you've associated it with Little Freak I want to read it as soon as I finish reading Once Upon a Broken Heart. i haven’t read the dance of thieves but “somewhere in the haze, got a sense i’ve been betrayed” and “we will never go back to that blood shed, crimson clover, the worst was over, my hand was the one you reached for all throughout the great war” reminds me sm of jude and cardin (the folk of the air trilogy). And a song that wasn’t mentioned in here but the book was, i just need to voice my opinion, ‘the way i loved you’ reminds me sm of magnolia and BJ (from the first book of the magnolia parks series - i’ve only read the first book so idk how accurate it is for book #3). BUT LIKE “HE IS SENSIBLE AND SO INCREDIBLE AND ALL MY SINGLE FRIENDS ARE JEALOUS (this whole part is tom, then we get to BJS part - i’m skipping a few lines to get to the point) BUT I MISS SCREAMING AND FIGHTING AND KISSING IN THR RAIN AND ITS 2AM AND IM CURSING YOUR NAME. SO IN LOVE THAT I ACTED INSANE AND THATS THE WAY I LOVED YOU”
