glad i got to know what the “T” is for.👍🏽
It kind of reminds me every time: Turn here 😊
Small but very significant tip
¡Excelente explicacio'n!👍👏💪💙🏊♂️🏊♀️
Am leaning the flipturn...but the problem i have at the moment is that when i turn, i go too deep in the water.... by the time i come up, am out of breath....
How can iimprove on that...😢
Same here!
Omg same! For that when u flip don’t go too deep in the water and blow bubbles through ur nose!
This is never enough deep and long to me. I flip turn on 15 m. More deep I dive, happier I am because I can do wider slow with torque dolphin kicks.
@@BelleMorue that’s good!
Nope, you want a very slight quick glance at the t on the wall so you don’t miss your turns. Derek Maas made a video on it. Michael Phelps also takes a glance at the T on the wall
Can some please explain how to prevent water up the nose? I tried breathing through my nose but I ran out and just collspsed😢
So when you are doing the flip turn you want to blow out of the nose like your trying to get mucas out or smth like that. This prevents water from going up your nose. Bubble should come out and you should be able to see them!
So before the t in bottom I started turning?
In my pool it isnt a T its actually square dots near the end but while in the middle its a line 🫶🏽
What if there s no T
I feel intense pressure in my sinus and nose when head down.this stops me from getting further. Please help
Blow bubbles/ nose plug
Don't judge, but Spitz was able to do with a mustache.
Dressel looks at the wall!
I see Michael Phelps do this though?
Yeah, he does. Every pool is different so looking at the T is bad advice. Phelps looks up at the bottom of the T but not too high.😊
My pool has no T
But the T is not in the right place. Why isn't the T closer to the wall?!
So that’s why we have the T
I have turns where I go too deep...
Nope, you lift head to look for people standing/resting at end of the lane.
Yeah but u can do a quick look at the wall. I've seen Olympians do it
