We made an awesome friend on a hike one Saturday in the snow. His name is Braam and he is the coolest dude we know.
He took us on an epic adventure in Betty’s Bay where we hiked the Leopard’s Kloof trail. This trail is an easy hike and an absolutely must do for even the not so fit hikers out there. It boasts with beautiful rock pools and jaw dropping waterfalls that the camera just cannot capture! This hike is 1.5km in each direction and will take you around 90min for the return trip. Entry into the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens is R35.
Braam also introduced us to Geocaching and we found our first Geocache with him!
Short video on what Geocaching is if you don’t know:
    • What is Geocaching?
Braam owns many Geocaches and you can follow him on Geocaching.com. Just search for “Vuilhond”. Hahaha :D
The link to the Geocache that we found in this video (Braam 9 (D.F. Malherbe Stoel)) is:

😆mermaids... secret location. Beautiful footage of nice waterfalls within walking distance (for normal people)😉 think that it is still tough to get to the waterfalls with the steps most of the way. Good job camera man 🎥.

This is Braam's brother. In January we lost him after a 2 year battle with cancer. Our hearts are broken but his memory lives on in the photos and videos of his exploits, like this one. For all we know his spirit still wanders this area.

      Hi Aaron
We were extremely fortunate and blessed to have met Braam. He had such a big heart, and he shared a big piece with us. He had an amazing sense of adventure and a will to live. He loved the Lord and he inspired us with his selfless love for others. We will miss him dearly too. 😢
We are so happy that we could capture these memories with him.
He also features in video #16 on the vlog (Franschhoek Mont Rochelle Hiking).
Thank you for being such a good friend Braam
