I really hope some other reactors find this song, because Belmont are an incredibly underrated band. Their progressive/technical take on pop-punk with little hip hop influences is super unique. They definitely deserve some more recognition.
I've been following Belmont for years and I'm not much of a pop punk fan. I'd really recommend going back and checking out Overstepping by them, it's a great place to start with their music.
Between the name Belmont (Castlevania) and song title Bowser's Castle (Super Mario Bros), this bands love for video games has me thinking of another band that used to be around that loved the same era of games - HORSE The Band. 😔 With that out of my system, I will say I'm typically not into pop/punk but the riffage sold me on this track for sure.
@@wespapes2054 Nice. I wonder if they like the idea of the connection to the Castlevania series or not as well. Oh well, they still got style and I dig it.
Can you please check out PassCode - Freely. They're an all female Japanese electronic metal band, they just dropped a new single a few days ago with their new screamer Emily.
They are kind of an emo prog-punk hardcore band if I were to try and put some label on their sound but like with all music, categorization is helpful but often limiting not just for the listener but the artist. It's best to try and refrain from allowing your mind to be blinded by soul limiting labels because they tend to influence our perspective. I feel like it's best to just hear music as art and love it or not. For example check out "Ren" either the song/video "The Tale of Jenny and Screech (full)" or "Ren - Hi Ren"
SHRED! The vocals just don't quite hit the right spot for me, otherwise good stuff! Soon I'll be back on track with the backlog just 40 or so more vids to go. Keep at it ya legends!

One of the best pop punk intros of all time!!!
Belmont is so underrated. Glad to see you guys checking them out
Love the little nuances in this. The little metally riffs are reminiscent of damage and boost audios from old 8 bit games
Belmont are so underrated! They deserve so much more love ❤️ and they are some of the loveliest people I’ve met they are such a sick band
I’ve never heard a Belmont song that I don’t like…. The boys don’t miss.

It’s a trap rap beat. It’s sick as hell!
