A small group from my church read Robby's book "Do what Jesus did" & then went out to make ourselves available for God to use. We were amazed at how God worked...it has become normal now to pray for the sick everywhere we go. May this fire continue to burn in us to see what the Living God can do through ordinary people.Thank u Robby for making it simple yet profound!

Great interview. I so loved the joy and the laughter, the freedom, of being of service to others.

American is more Reformed/Baptist them Pentecostal/Charismatic. Luckily the Charismatic is doing a great job of mixing charismatic doxology with Baptist and Reformed

I believe 100% that God can heal. What trips me up is I don't want to say something along the lines of RIGHT NOW you will be healed from so and so ailment, because frankly God may want that ailment to stay for whatever reason, so He won't do it. And if He doesn't that will put the person asking for healing in a place of well they said right now but I didn’t get healed, so God must not care. This is especially problematic for unbelievers. Basically, I don't want to put a time limit, unless the Holy Spirit ends up making it come out of my mouth. Although I will say I love the atheist foot testimony. A direct challege is a bit different and God showing up is pretty much guaranteed at that point. I have a problem with immediate obedience at the moment though (talking with strangers makes me nervous but I'm working on it) so I'm sure I'll probably be singing a different tune once I get the hang of things.

Not receiving your healing may be a warning signal that there may be a problem in one or more of the following reasons (by David Guzik):
    · Not abiding in Jesus (John 15:7).
    · Unbelief (Matthew 17:20-21).
    · Failure to fast (Matthew 17:21).
    · Husband not honoring his wife (1 Peter 3:7).
    · Not asking (James 4:2).
    · Selfish praying (James 4:3).
    · Disobedience (1 John 3:22).
    · Not praying in God’s will (1 John 5:14-15).
    · Unconfessed sin (James 5:16).
    · Cold, passionless prayer (James 5:16-18; 2 Kings 20:5).
    · Prayerlessness or a lack of persistence in prayer (Luke 18:1-7; Psalm 55:17).
    · Sin against others (Matthew 5:23-24).
    · Lack of unity (Matthew 18:19).
    · Not praying in the name of Jesus (John 14:13-14).
    · Pride (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5, Proverbs 3:34).
    · Lying and deceitfulness (Psalm 17:1).
    · Lack of Bible reading and Bible teaching (Proverbs 28:9).
    · Trusting in the length or the form of prayer (Matthew 6:7).

Why wouldn’t the Lord want to heal believers as much as unbelievers? I don’t agree.

    • @JMz685
      @JMz685 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I agree, God wants to heal the believers too. I don't think its that God doesn't want to heal. Healing was provided in the atonement, I believe that healing is God's will for both believers and unbelievers.
But also I think healing and other signs play a significant part of evangelism because it confirms what we preach. Look at Mark 16:15-20
