I saw that old projector slides can sell for big money on one of your videos. I have about 75-100 in a carousel. Do you think I should check the content before listing?
Thanks again for all you do! you don’t know how much you’ve helped me I’ve went from homeless to just yesterday renting a 3500sqft business space to resell out of. I have two part time employees and 1 full time. And I am hiring two more by the end of the month. Thanks again. For everything Don. I would love to hear about how you work with your employees in future or if you want to contact me directly. I would appreciate it so much thanks again for everything.
Thank you for continuing to give us new BOLO’s! It’s become really frustrating that some of the auction and estate sale companies have started charging premiums for some of the well known collectibles. It’s nice to have other items to look for!
Bought a huge box lot of them about 3 months ago, and I’m working my way through listing them. Only downside is that buyers sometimes get annoyed because the online game room codes don’t work any longer. Quite often they don’t, so it’s good to mention that in the description.
Some years back while going thru my old games, I started thinking these will never be worth anything again - gave them all to a cat rescue Toronto for their summer yard sale - Now this.... I sure messed up there.... Thanks for all the info.... I'll go cry in my pillow now.... :)
Saw a estate sale on FB last Monday afternoon, he had electronic, guitars, video games, old pc's. Had a PS3 console pictured. Unfortunately I could not make it that afternoon. I messaged him the next morning & he said that tall the video games were gone but he had some PC games. I went there 730 in the morning and in a Bedroom he had BOXES of old Big Box PC games maybe 75. I bought them all without going thru the boxes for $160. It is a gold mine! Several games were still in Shrink. I sold a Game called 'One whole Unit of Blood for $250, resident evil2 Platinum for $190 and several others in the $75-$100 range already. There were also some Sega Cd games mixed in. Someone paid $49 for the case & manual without the game. So the video game buyers scooped up all the video games & left all that money there. I always ask about Video games, vintage Board games & Vintage PC games at every sale I go to.
I have sold these. None worth this much, but they did okay and sold well. One sold minutes after I listed it. Made me wonder if I should've listed it for more.
Such great information always. Been watching regularly as a new sub. Really enjoy watching & sharing your videos. Had a smile on my face when you mentioned Diablo as your favorite. I have a new copy, never used signed by all the artist from Blizzard, gift from my son who was on the Diablo team. Proud mom moment. Thank you Don for all the great content.
America Online! Remember when AOL had free CDs on display at grocery stores? I think each cd included a certain amount of minutes. I remember being a poor college student and having friends pick up as many as possible to accumulate free internet use. If i remember right, email hosting was done on a physical region basis? For some reason i could not use AOL mail. I had to use Netscape or Juno email. God I am so old 👴
Hello auction professor.. I came across an old Rafael Tuck .. I don’t know if it’s a postcard or an advertising postcard or something else. There is a picture of two children on the front with the saying loves remembrance.. and a poem at the bottom of the card. But on the back it is blank except in the lower left-hand corner there is the letter E... in the middle of the back of the postcard at the bottom is the Rafael Tuck mark.. Other than that the entire back is blank.. any ideas where I can look for more info?
LOL. No I don't collect games of any kind, All the games we find we sell. I have 4 or 5 that I've owned since new that I play from time to time though.
My husband is a collector and he saved all his old computer games. We sold them recently, some are still listed. But they did pretty well. Don't throw them away, sell them. :)

I'd be tempted to personally deliver some video games that sell for $6500.00 so there's no funny business.
I like the way u just start the information right away. That rarely happens here on utube. Thank you!
Nice, I haven't found any that good but I've done well in the past with old PC games.
This is the most informative reseller channell I've seen on TH-cam. Thanks so much!
Found a sealed Geo Safari with Einstein dude on cover. Doesn't sell for much, but was nice gift for a relative at XMAS that cost only $1.

You’re such a wealth of information. I don’t even sell anything, but find you incredibly interesting. Thank you for the education!

Helping nonprofits is NEVER a mistake. TY for your kindness.
@@janetcooke384 the store probably sold them for $1 a piece.
Before AOL, remember Prodigy? Lol, How I hated dial up charges. We take so much for granted today!
Educational, I feel like going on a treasure hunt.

I love finding and selling these games!!! Thank you
Had a friend I used to watch when I was a kid who was engrossed with Ultima I on C64. I doubt that floppy will still play though. Man, history....
About that Raphael Tuck card.. it also says printed in Germany ..on the back..under the Raphael Tuck mark
I never give these a second though when I find them out in the “wild”........until now. Wow!
thanks for all the knowledge
I have sold these. None worth this much, but they did okay and sold well. One sold minutes after I listed it. Made me wonder if I should've listed it for more.
Thank you again Don! I'm all over these vintage games from now on.
Even sealed operating systems can sell for decent money (Windows 95 or 98), but they are hard to find sealed!
In the 90's Ultima on DOS was one of our favorite games! It's a great RPG. I am always on the lookout for DOS games to resell.

Hi Don is there any money to be made on sealed Movie CDs ?

Hi Don you said you would start your auctions at a base. What would you start these at?
Thank you so much Don!
Not in my area. All the resellers know about it and scoop them up. I rarely find them.

Hey Auction Professor, were you picking up used copies of famous old computer games in the 90s? You probably have your own personal collection.
LOL. No I don't collect games of any kind, All the games we find we sell. I have 4 or 5 that I've owned since new that I play from time to time though.
@@TheAuctionProfessor ok

I only played pc games! I have so many of them and the hoarder in me refuses to throw them out.

Big Rigs is considered one of the worst games ever made. Amazing price for such a terrible game.
