Thanks Danni, maybe my luck was that everything was wet, when the pot was dry it sure felt like one block of massiveness? And i probably just got lucky with this one 🤣
Cymbidium are one of the interesting orchids they can be definitely temperamental to grow but I like them even though currently I only have two are thriving under my care. Nice repotting! Have a lovely day keep safe and happy growing : ) Reah
I just got the one and my care is very limited until now, it lives outside for the time coming. My first ever outside growing orchid 😊 Judging by the size of the oldest new growth it is enjoying it self 😊 Thanks for watching Reah, have a nice and lovely day
That's a pretty modest rootsystem 😁 (rot krengen zijn het 🤣 When you're done repotting you should be able to lift up the plant by it's leaves without the pot falling off
@@aBeekeepersLife Last one I repotted had to be cut out of the pot with brute force it completely warped the pot and in the wild the root system gets several square meters
Cymbidium are slightly different to other orchids being terrestrial orchids, maybe you can get a bigger pot for it, not much bigger, just a little bit to make it longer too. It has nice roots for the size of it👌
I will check my supplies one more time, i surely thought i had a size bigger opaque pot 🤔 And of course i will keep my eyes open when in i am in the store 😊 Thanks for watching Fernanda, i really appreciate it
Uhm... yeah! Cymbidiums 😅 when mine comes out of the pot, in a couple of years, I will need help to even lift it. The leca will add to the weight! Hope you grabbed a cold one after a job well done 👍🏼
The hardest repot I’ve ever done was on a Cymbidium. It was huge and took me so long to get the old media out of it’s root ball.
You did a great job.

Did the test and the pot stayed on 😊 so if this is a modest rootsystem, it will be way more extensive then?

Well, i would have grabbed a cold one, if i didn't repotted it in the morning 🤣
Je zwarte komeet staat bij de Gamma in Boxtel, je was niet thuis 😎
