This gun and my Shield Plus 4 inch Performance Center optics ready model are in my EDC rotation..I love both especially after the Apex trigger and striker upgrade on the FN
Thanks for the straight to the point. I have been carrying a 509 Midsize but have just ordered the Compact this week. Hoping the shorter grip will help with printing . Still hoping that 509 picks up some market so we can have a better aftermarket. Really want a Minimalist Holster but not getting any Love from any of the minimal holsters.
I'm looking at getting my first gun for concealed carry. My brother has a walther PPQ which we both tried out numeroius times at the range; very nice pistol but personally I am not a fan of the sights and grip. We also tried a hellcat at the range, While I greatly preferred the grip and iron sights of the hellcat, it had a lot more recoil and not as nice a trigger as the PPQ. How would you say the FN compares? The gunrange didn't have a 509 to compare unfortunately. Anyways, thanks for the cool video! Especially about the striker bit, did not know about that.
The grip is one of my favorite features on the 509. Recoil is very manageable but the trigger is definitely heavy. I'll be upgrading that with Apex kit as well.

i carry a g 43x everyday at work. love it for what it is. but anything bigger. i just dont like the Glock hump. if im gonna shoot im shooting the cz p09. EDC work carry is the glock 43x. and if im not at work its the FN 50 9C. why., America

Yeah, holsters can be an issue. Tier 1 Xiphos for me. Not really minimalist but good quality.

Which screws did you use on your Holosun? The RMR screws that come with the gun won’t seat right. The screw heads are too big for the Holosun.

Blacked out iron sights really bothered me when I tried it out. Where your take?
I definitely prefer the blacked out rear sights. Cleaner/less distracting sight lines for me.
