I noticed when the fallout TV show aired people started using the "quit having fun meme" to shut down criticism and they implied we don't like fun. They see our problems with the show it upsets them therefore we are ruining their fun because they can see the problems so instead of being rational and understanding that they like it despite those problems we become the villains and the fingers go in the ears. It's all one big cope. I enjoy fallout 76 despite the fact I know its bad and I refuse to acknowledge it as canon I see it as a fallout themed amusement Park but it's not fallout.

I want Fallout to return to its rpg routes. I want my decisions to make a difference in building a character and interacting with the world. For example. The skill system. If I can put 100 in every skill and be a God walking amongst mortals. That's not fun. Too many idiots online think you can punk the Master with a 100 speech check. You can have 100% speech and still fail to convince the Master his plan has failed. I would need evidence and still need to pick the correct speech lines. Otherwise, the Master turns hostile and attacks. With supermutants coming up from behind. I would also need an item to prevent his psychic attacks. Which I can pick up from one of the human psychers earlier in the Vault. I'd like to have my games to give a better experience than Rick & Morty humor.
It’s funny I’m seeing this now. Bc NMRIH2 is going through something similar RIGHT NOW. The first game was a passion project made by an indie dev team. They worked for YEARS on the sequel. And then they got bought out by Torn Banner studios and all that work they had done went out the window and into the trash. Ignoring the tremendous and ludicrous amount of bugs that it launched into EA with (even by EA standards the launch was bad) The sequel is missing core content the first one had, it’s overly repetitive, lacking content..and most importantly it’s just nothing like the first game at all. Hardly any resemblance. The game launched at Overwhelmingly Negative reviews and within a few hours had steadied out to mostly negative reviews and rightfully so. But as the days go on idk it’s almost like a bunch of brain dead bots are coming in and reverse review bombing it. Giving it positive reviews but in the reviews they write they say either “don’t buy it” or “I don’t get the hate” it’s amazing. It’s like a bunch of paid actors came out of the woodwork. It’s incredible how people just refuse to think critically about some things. They sell out to anything bc all they know is slop. Like pigs to a trough
