The best years of my life; the shows, the music, the hard work, more victories than losses. If you go through all the Miami Vice episodes, all the actors got their chance to shine; and they did. Blessings.
Ive had a crush on Don Johnson since Miami Vice premiered in 1984. He and PMT were born to play Crockett and Tubbs and together they made TV history ♥️
Well, he was on a few episodes of Eight Is Enough back when the show was running. He played the boyfriend to the oldest daughter Mary. I remember thinking, Oh Mary has good taste. I also remember him in a made for tv movie (mini series) The Rebel a sequel to the mini series The Bastard with Andrew Steven's (Stella Steven's son)
Okay, I'm always going to pick Don Johnson. He was the reason I even started watching it. When I saw that he was going to be on the show Miami Vice there was no way I was going to miss it. My nieces even wanted to watch with me. But, they were still too young to watch a show like Miami Vice with the shooting and stuff. My oldest niece was the most interested. And I had even turned them on to the music, especially IN THE AIR TONIGHT by Phil Collins. There were other Phil Collins songs in other episodes too. James "Sonny" Crockett was my favorite character on the show. To bad you didn't include their original Lieutenant Lou Rodriguez (who was killed by one of Calderones men, when trying to kill Sonny at his boat) I think he deserved an honorable mention. Even if he wasn't on for the whole series.
With Diehl you should have mentioned that he asked to be killed off the show. He was not happy working in Florida and did not believe his character was that interesting
Of course I've heard that story, but I always doubted it simply bc he was on one of the hottest shows in TV history, even when it was starting to go down hill he was getting a steady paycheck, which to a working actor is gold. He must've known it was only going to last a few more years, why not finish it out then go on and do other things?
The snitch! Ate on the toilet guy! Yeah. Dinosaur: "They taste better after a sh*!" I recognize all those Def Comedy Jammers! Too bad for him. EJAlmos could make any great movie better. Salena,'s dad! I'll see if "Fish N' Chips" is any good. Johnson's "Heartbeat" was a Beavis and Butthead joke, like he's a "doctor" operating... "looking for a-"
I wish I could turn back time. Those were so much happier times

Miami Vice is such an iconic show! I can't believe it's going to be 40 years since it premiered. ❤❤❤❤

You didn't even mention that Edward James Olmos led the cast of the remake of Battlestar Galactica as Commander/Captain William Adama.
I was thinking that same thing. He was great as Adama.

That show went so far downhill in the last 2 seasons it wasn't worth mentioning. 😔
You can see, for a split section, PMT setting down a Bible he was reading at the police station in one of the MV episodes.
I love Izzy! 😂 There's always some kind of scheme going on. LOL
MiamiVice!!!!!
Edward James Olmos played a role in Blade Runner (Gaff) and in the remake of Battlestar Galactica (commander Adama).
great work
