WHAT?!?! $99/$109. Wow. Once I built a system in the P500A, I was like "Oh Phanteks is cool". A few systems later, I looked for another case and decided just to go into the G500A and I became Phanteks fanboi. This case may just make Phanteks crazy. They do sooooo much right.
Remember that Phanteks sells FANs. Most people getting this case will fill it with Phanteks fans. And you can get an RGB lightstrip add-on for another 70 bucks.
This was the one I was waiting for, such a phantastic looking case (see what I did there?)😂...been so happy with my Lian Li Lancool II Mesh I've had for a few years and would take something special to replace it...think this may be it. Appreciate you sharing it guys 👌

The case adds to the interesting beef Lian Li is having at the moment with Phanteks over the fan connector. My eyes opened even wider when realising Lian Li makes the RGB PSU extensions you used for this build. Hopefully both companies can resolve the whole thing amicably, because they both make stunning products.

Bruh... 99$? This could be 140 and still sell decent.. that's crazy. Only thing I'd want to improve is support for one more fan on the bottom and for the side panel to have a thinner white strip. Nv7 was too big so this case is crazy.
Boy, that is a really neat case. I wish more case designers got experimental with the flourishes and details. There are enough standard boxes out there.
If i could just....nit-pick....The front panel connectors need to be hidden by a shroud or something but man, this is a SOLID case! I appreciate the white cables as well! If i didnt already have the NV7, Id have the NV5!
Don't worry about phanteks mate, they're going to make a fortune from all the case upgrades including those fans. That is just some plain smart marketing on the case pricing

They marketed this as a smaller NV7, but I was very disappointed to see that it had very little in common. No external cable management, only one bottom fan slot (that is literally useless), no motherboard cable hiding panels, no ability to change bottom fan angles, only one rear exhaust (two can be done in a case this size as my previous case did it). etc. The NV5 just seems like a normal case with one or two nice features. It’s a nice looking case, but not really like its bigger brother at all. Ended up going with the NV7.
Even tho the case looks nice and it has a nice price point it is not equipped by base with any fans. So unless you have a big budget for fans this case is a bit a meh. A fan of any decent brand ( cheepest i could find ) is 10/15 euro. Considering 3 fans for intake and 1 for exahust already this case cost 40 / 60 euro more and ofc you can put up to 4 more fans generally. So even tho the initial price is ''good'' it is not good enough imo cause u gotta spend 40/60 euro of fans and for 150 euro or so u have a lot of different cases at your disposal. Also you should consider i took the cheapest fan of a brand i could get so not even '' optimal '' or '' the best looking''. If i put the phanteks ones you put it is 84 euro per 3 fans and that drives the price point to shit litterally. Maybe for content creators it is great cause you guys have tons of fans/equippement you get for free but if you build a pc and you have a budget below 2k generally you don't spend 200 euro for a case xD
I wait for GN review so I can compare thermals to their other case review. Hopefully it will be the next case for my new PC I am going to build in 2024. My current PC uses Enthoo Pro from Phanteks and it serves me well, very good case for money to work with it, but it is obsolete and I botched minijack on front I/O.

Nv5 beats the nv7 too much negative space in the nv7 but that’s just my opinion epic build by the way I’m using certain elements of this in my build thank you for the hard work

For what the case offer, the price being U$99 is really appealing, although I'll wait until I see the pricing in AUD. Expecting PC Case Gear to put this around $180 or so before shipping. Definitely worth the consideration to move from my existing O11 Mini. I wish the bottom dust filter latch isn't located on rear but sideway/front.

This will likely be my new case! I liked the o11 mini but it's a little wide for my setup. I considered the Antec P120 but this limited my gpu length. I thought about going with the longer version of my current case, the Meshify C, but I also want a change of scenery. The NV5 is only 1" wider. Which is fine with me. And at $109, I mean cmon! cheap case is how they get you to buy EXPENSIVE GPU mount, NV5 LED Kit, D30 Fans... thats like 500€ total.

The case is a trojan horse, they make the money from the additional rgb/screen mods, shame they never copied the nv7 and just made it shorter!
