Recovery of the shannon class lifeboat at Hoylake Lifeboat station RNLI ...and just as the wash down began this turned into a very real launch. Hoylake RNLI lifeboat was requested to launch by the UK Coastguard at 12.45pm on Sunday 29 September after four kayakers were reported to be in difficulties
