I'm 18 years old and I love the Andy Griffith show and all the other old shows. My favorite old TV show is The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. I adore Rick and have almost all his vinyl albums and singles. I hope you have a good night, and a wonderful day tomorrow. Thank you for this video. ❤
I just love you to pieces. I love your style I love your recipes the way you cook I'm very good friends with Miss Marlene that lives in Arizona love you to the Moon and back live in Gainesville Florida
Have you seen Father Knows Best of The Burns and Allen Show? I’ve been enjoying these two shows lately. Father Knows Best was filmed in the 50’s. I’m not sure about the latter but I believe George Burns was in his 30’s-40’s when they filmed and boy was he handsome.
@@unapologeticallyamy9031 Yes I've watched both. They are also great, my mom bought me the complete series of father knows best for my birthday a couple years ago. And I have a couple seasons of the burns and Allen show. You can't beat clean vintage movies and TV shows. 🤗💗
What great memories you bring to mind. I love them. Those old programs were surely more fun and full of fun but also as you said they always had a good message. Thank you Pat you are so sweet
I’m a northerner who married a southerner, and it was quite a culture shock when I first moved down here! I’ve lived in the south for 10 years and I’m still not totally used to driving through a neighborhood and having every person smile and wave as I pass by! Simple acts of kindness can sometimes have a lasting impact - like the gas station attendant in your story. :) Katy, Virginia
Andy Griffith was great. I loved his show with Barney, Aunt Bea, and Opie and all of them. I still love the reruns when I get a chance to sit down and watch them.
my brothers got to meet the man that whistled the theme song for the Andy Griffith show, when he came to their school in woodbridge, va, way way way back in the day. my brother still remembers that today… he’s in his 60’s now.
Hello Sweet GP! I am catching this post on Friday night. Where, oh where, have the good times gone? And, will we ever see them again? 😢 I live in a very small town of 3,000 people named Cedaredge. But, many residents, affectionately call our town "Cedarberry." America is full of "Mayberry" towns. And, there are many millions of Mayberry characters living amongst us. It is our responsibility to keep the dream alive. Thank you for sharing your story's with us. ❤🐝fromColorado
I love good ole fashioned programming! Andy Griffith was one of those. The Lucy Show was fabulous. My father’s mother looked exactly like her. ❤ Red hair and all! The guy you spoke of sounds awesome. He reminds me of the men I encountered in Appalachia when I drove through West Virginia! I love how that man left a positive memory with you. People like that just don’t realize how much they’re worth. ❤ We definitely need more people who SHINE ☀️! You definitely bring a smile this way! Never stop talking! You are a treasure! Maybe you’ll even have a podcast someday. 😉
The black & white shows of Andy Griffith were my favorite especially when Opie was little. Ron is my second cousin, they tell me. But i watch it everyday!. Have a goodnight gp🌹
I loved The Andy Griffith Show. I'm like you, I loved every single show. I wish we had shows like that now, back when life was so much simpler. Love you, Granny Pat. ❤
My husband and I loved the Andy Griffith Show. We were able to see the entire series from beginning to end several years ago on Hulu. We were so sad to see it end when we got to the last episode. So funny and heartwarming. Makes you feel good after watching it. Too bad they don't have any shows like that anymore. I've worked in Nursing Homes for years. I liked taking care of the elderly. I felt sorry for the ones who didn't have anyone to visit them. Thanks for the funny story.
Granny Pat! Thank you so much for sharing little snippets of your life with us 😁 I enjoy listening to your stories and when you're in the kitchen making something to eat, I feel like I'm right there with you! You have such a sweet spirit! You always put a smile in my heart ❤️! Thank you for being you 😁
I love watching Andy griffin show! Talking about nursing homes, we went to one of the nursing homes here in my town and we had a choir from the different churches here in town and we would go and sing for the residents there! We did that every Friday morning for nearly 10 years! My husband got sick and we had to stop going! He passed away in 2020! We loved getting to know the folks there! Some we had attended church with! That was a true blessing for us!😅
I love listening to your stories! I discovered your channel a month or so ago and have been trying to watch a few of your older videos. Today I watched the one where you show and discuss your sandwich glass collection. I love dishes too and have a bunch of the amber sandwich glass. It's not my favorite color, but 5 years ago I found them at a flea market and got a really good deal on them. I love the dishes that have the different scenes on them. Can't think of the actual name for them at the moment. I love all the different colors; brown, blue, red, and green. The few pieces I have are from England. Love carnival glass and milk glass too. Any of it really! Depression glass, the little fenton shoes and the little hens. Sorry to ramble. I just dont have anyone I can talk to about them. I think of all of them as little pieces of history one can hold or simply admire. Now I will get back on topic. From what I can gather, you have alot of folks that care about you on here, I care too! I love your videos! Take care and God bless. This is Sandra from Harrodsburg, Kentucky.😊
So close to home. Depression glass is difficult to find these days, hold onto,it. Mama had the little shoes; I have a few hens. Collecting is a wonderful pass-time. It makes traveling Fun. Sandwich glass is easy to find and there are some beautiful pieces out there in various patterns.
I love going to flea markets and yard sales. There's always some type of dishes or glassware. I guess I need to try and study up on them some more so I know what's collectable. I think your jadeite dishes are really pretty, such a nice shade of green 💚. Do you collect milk glass? It's one of my favorites and I don't know how to tell if it's older or newer. I think the big flea market in Louisville will be in the next month or two. I want to go this year and see what I can find. It's really a lot of fun, last year they had a little bit of everything there.
Don't worry, we all have days when we aren't looking our best. Friends know we can look better. Loved your stories ,keep rambling, who cares. Appreciate your sense of humor. Jan in Tennessee
Thank you Granny Pat! ❤ My dad was a policeman in the early 60's.👮♂️ It just so happens that my daddy looked a lot like Andy. I remember how handsome he looked in his uniform, very similar to Andy's, hat n all. I still have Daddys badge! We live in a small town and our police station, complete with a jail, looked much like the one on the show. It's easy to see why I treasure The Andy Griffith Show!! 😊
We love the Andy Griffith show and still to this day watch re-runs everyday. The Beverly Hillbillies was another favorite but it’s not on regular tv anymore. Miss those old shows, would watch them with my grandparents, we don’t watch any of the new ones now.❤❤Can’t wait to see your new shirts, Hugs from Texas,Bea
I grew up watching and loving the Andy Griffith show, one of my favorites! You said you were surprised at so many comments to catch up on…that’s because we all just love you and your stories. When it goes a few days, we get a bit worried. Please know you sure are loved and appreciated by your subscribers ❤❤❤ Debby, NY
I really enjoyed this bedtime story. I too enjoy Andy Griffith. He was a real natural. Ya know, some folks just were born with the gift of being themselves on camera.. Kinda like you, 😊 Thank you so much for your story, I couldn't wait to finish my laundry, get a shower and lay in bed to unwind and listen to you! Granny Pat, you're really a treat to listen to! I saw an 18 year old girl who commented on here a while ago, and well, in my opinion, that just goes to show you, you're loved by everyone of all ages! I hope you have a peaceful nights rest, thank you for what you call "rambling". I'd like you to know that I could listen to you endlessly and not get bored. PS I sure do love them spiffy eye glasses..I love all things that sparkle ✨️ Love you sweet lady ❤ Sending love and prayers from.East Tennessee

Granny Pat, U look just fine. We love that u feel u don't have to b so spiffy all the time, why ,we are ready for bed, even though we r late niters. Yes / I was listening to ur Andy story an nursing home story / I was waiting to her u say u had ran into the young man again / from the filling station. I guess u never saw him again / I’m just sitting here watching ur live an having a cup of good coffee. I always feel at home when watching ur lives / thank u for ur videos / luv ya Granny
Now that my husband and I are older, we seldom watch the newer programs on TV (except we are faithful viewers of our local news and weather stations). We are so thankful that we're able to see reruns of those wonderful shows from years gone by. Andy Griffith is at the top of our list. I think listening to you is so soothing--I'm pretty sure you bring down my blood pressure better than my medication! Just love you!
I was just looking for something to watch before I go to sleep. I was so excited to see your post. Thank you for your endearing videos. Keep coming on for your excellent planned videos and even impromptu visits with us. You mean a lot to so many of your viewers like me!
Your delivery of this story is spot on This might be the sixth time I've listened to this video. You are a jewel Granny Pat. An absolute jewel.❤ 8/19/24
I really enjoyed listening to you again. ❤ You brought back a lot of memories for me. I'm so grateful. I love being on this side of your channel... The "watching and enjoying" side. ❤ Much love and hugs.
Granny, I think I may have one of many reasons why people love you and your stories so much. Aside from the fact that the stories are interesting they take us back to better days and bring solace and a sense of peace. You carry the love, kindness and gentleness of soul that we remember existed in our now gone grandparents, parents, relatives and friends. You and your stories, your demeanor are what we so miss and long for again. We can’t physically go back but you take us there in our minds and hearts and it brings us comfort, a bit of joy and laughter. You are transparent and unassuming and you have such keen observation about life around you so that when you share things, its like we are there with you experiencing it. You have a gift from our precious Lord Jesus to share with us in these dark days. I believe you had to be your age now for it all to come together like it has and does. I hope your kids realize what a blessing and gem they have in you. I know your listeners do. Stay strong and well Granny Pat and next time you need to step away for awhile, let us know all is well and you will be back soon. Remember, you have over 31,000 extended family members who love you! God bless you✝️🌷🤗
Granny Pat, I have never written you, but here I sit, in the middle of the day, watching you show us how you do your "Roasted Vegetable". I have to tell you HOW MUCH I enjoy you!! I especially love watching you share your recipes and cooking in the kitchen. I've written down several and re-typed and laminated them to keep in my recipe collection. My mother was an excellent cook that passed that love on to me and it is satisfying and comforting to watch you in the kitchen. She died at the age of 92 in 2022. I still adjust to her not being nearby and a daily visit or phone call away! She would have related to you and would have loved watching you! I live in Pooler, Ga (a superb of Savannah) and have lived here all of my 69 years. My husband and I have 4 grown children with 11 grandchildren. YOU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and know that I'll be watching and writing down your recipes!
Just got to see this Granny Pat. I loved this video, it’s so real! Andy Griffith was something special for all of us. Whenever he comes on you cannot, not, enjoy that show to this day. The filling station young man was special too. I enjoyed you telling us about the nursing home your Mom resided in! I have a feeling your mother was so interesting because her life was so real and her family stories were fun.❤️❤️Carson on Ohio.❤️🙏
So love your stories, Granny Pat! You are a talented story teller. It's such a gift. We watch the Andy Griffith show (2 episodes) every Thursday evening. We have Family Night with my Mom-in-Law every week. It's a wonderful evening of chatting and watching wonderful entertainment. 😊 Hope you have a great rest of your week! God's blessings! Cendy from Torrance, CA
I always enjoy your videos! You have a natural way of putting things together in the most interesting ways! I love The Andy Griffith Show, too! It was/is a wonderful program. Thank you for mentioning it! I also like knowing you are a “night owl”. So am I.
I’m sure a dozen others have already commented, but just in case: the name of the gal Ernest T. Bass was chasing was Charlene Darling. That was a funny episode, “Mountain Wedding” I believe it is titled. Even funnier is the one where Ernest T falls in love (at a society reception) with Ramona, whom he calls “Romeena”. I could talk about this show all day, as well as The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet!
That's such a sweet perspective on the life at a nursing home. I also think about how much money those actors would have made if they had gotten paid for reruns since that show is still shown all over the world several times a day. SHAZAM!
I worked in a nursing home for years when I was in high school and college.I feel like I got as good of an education from all the senior residents as I did from school.I loved listening to all their stories!
Hi Granny Pat! I agree about the Andy Griffith Show. The entire cast could be a hoot from time to time. I liked Floyd the barber. He was out of it and just plain funny. Barney used to get so frustrated with him even though he had a job he flubbed everyday. Great entertainment. Yes, it is nice to see you back as I worried you might be ill. It is nice to take a break though and I understand. Have a good Friday and weekend. The NBA All Stars game is this weekend in Indianapolis. Lots of celebrities here. You take care. Hugs.❤ Nancy from IN.
Pat, thank you very much for your rambling. It's a wonderful thing to hear you talk about your history and your family. I wish my nursing home experience was half as good as yours. My mother had a heart attack and small stroke just at the beginning of the covid debacle. We cared for her at her home just over a month. We realized we were keeping her alive, but not really doing her much good. You know how it can be for "family" trying to support in situations like this. She was a very independent woman that was used to living on her own. We relented and signed her into a facility close to her home and one of her choosing. Like I said, she fell ill at the start of the covid mess. She never got it, but she didn't last 3 months in there. There were whole weeks were nobody could visit. I'm positive her isolation in an unfamiliar place sped up her decline. She passed away at 79. It's been about 3 years ago, but I've still got some bitterness about the whole situation. Not at anyone specifically, just a general irritation about how the thing was handled. ~ It's very heart warming hearing you speak about your own mother and the times you were able to spend with her. From this video and others, she sounds like an angel come down to earth. I'm sure she had her "times". But the way you talk about her, I'm sure they were few and far between. I miss your mother and I didn't even know her. Thank You again for sharing some of your sunshine with us. 😊 Everything is fine here in Evansville.
Too many people have your experience today. We were lucky in being able to visit our mother on a daily basis. She was easy to care for except when she could get cantankerous! And she could do that, too.
🎉🎉Hiya Gran Pat 🎉🎉 Of course your cared about!! Some may be like me and missin my Mama from day to day! I love your impersonation of the fella...HOWDEEE 🤠⛽
Yes,,Any care facility is the family of so many, as relatives are no longer alive or able to Be care taker.. So many nicer Life Enrichment facilities,,That do offer the transition of Our next journey,as we are completed here on earth... Love your Insight & Wisdom!!❤
Many years of doing hair, I went to nursing homes to do my clients if they were there for rehab some never got out dementia. You get see the hard work and difficulties and caring of most of the staff. My mother in law was in assisted & nursing home. Very few have their minds just lost my son in laws grandma who was 98 under hospice care women who was her care taker couldn’t believe her mind was so sharp they played cards up until the night she passed. She just was ready to go. Knew everyone in her family and talked everyday about them. Love & Kindness are all they want🤗
Good evening pat! I will sleep better after my little night time story that I thank you for. Were you a fan of Little House on the prairie? I'm still so hooked on it and every evening before I go to bed I watch it at least one episode. I don't have to worry about the language are nasty and inappropriate my children used to snuggle up to me on my chair and watch it with me when they were little. Now as soon as my dog hears the music he knows what it is and comes running to my bedroom. He will jump up on the bed and watch TV with me. It was such simple, warm and. Well, I will sleep better tonight after our fun visit. Thank you,!!!!!
Pat ask your followers to check and make sure they have subscribed on TH-cam. I have had to subscribe again and again to some of my channels, don't know why, but others mentioned it and I always check to make sure! Just for your info. Enjoy all your shows, keep em coming!
Three days in Nova Scotia, cold and constant rain. Now that can put a damper on a good time! It was a coach tour, but we made the best of it. Coach tours don’t give you much free time to explore.

We loved Andy Griffin too! Thank you for bringing back fond memories.
I love hearing all your terrific stories
Very good. I liked the Andy Griffith show too.
Your delivery of this story is spot on
This might be the sixth time I've listened to this video. You are a jewel Granny Pat. An absolute jewel.❤ 8/19/24
I really enjoyed listening to you again. ❤
You brought back a lot of memories for me. I'm so grateful.
I love being on this side of your channel... The "watching and enjoying" side. ❤
Much love and hugs.
God bless you✝️🌷🤗
You are much appreciated.
Hello from australia! ❤️💜💚🇦🇺
Always pleased to see you here.
Much Love to you. ❤️
Hope you have a great rest of your week! God's blessings!
Cendy from Torrance, CA
You're an awesome lady 😊
I always enjoy your videos! You have a natural way of putting things together in the most interesting ways! I love The Andy Griffith Show, too! It was/is a wonderful program. Thank you for mentioning it! I also like knowing you are a “night owl”. So am I.
Yey! I need one of your great stories, can’t sleep.
Up late with you, Miss Pat.☺ Hope we both have a good night! Samantha from East Tennessee.
I liked the Andy Griffith show too. Loved your little story
❤ great video tonight. Loved the stories.❤a big hello from Texas
I love the Andy Griffith shoe. My grandson bought me the whole TV series last year (such a good boy). Love you and your stories 😍
I love the Andy Griffith show, I used to watch it with my mom. Thanks for the story!
P.S. I love your glasses.
I watch Andy Griffith if it's on. I think the episode about Aunt Bee's pickles is the one that stands out for me.
Everything is fine here in Evansville.
Too many people have your experience today. We were lucky in being able to visit our mother on a daily basis. She was easy to care for except when she could get cantankerous! And she could do that, too.
Always good to listen to your stories. I also enjoy thrifting, mostly clothes...I can't pass up blouses for $3-$4. Have a BLESSED day.
🎉🎉Hiya Gran Pat 🎉🎉
Of course your cared about!! Some may be like me and missin my Mama from day to day!

Sweet dreams, dear Lady! Sending hugs from North Texas.
That can be a blessing.
We've all adopted you as our Granny Pat.❤
I haven’t met you, but I appreciate you and your uploads. 🌹🥰
Don’t forget The Carol Burnett Show and wasn’t Harvey Korman hilarious!

Nice story.😊❤
Love you granny pat
I watched Lassie with my kids. Also liked the Waltons - so much like my own family.
Pat ask your followers to check and make sure they have subscribed on TH-cam. I have had to subscribe again and again to some of my channels, don't know why, but others mentioned it and I always check to make sure! Just for your info. Enjoy all your shows, keep em coming!
Thanks. I will.
Enjoying your chitchat. Your intellect is a treat. Appearance should be the least of our interest.
❤❤❤❤👏👍😊
✨❤️✨
Your mental health is fine!
Did you know that the character Ernest T. Bass was the main producers of the show? yep. Hugs From Atlanta.
I did not know - surprising!

Hi from Nova Scotia! You mentioned before that you have visited here. Would love to hear your thoughts! Take care ❤️
Three days in Nova Scotia, cold and constant rain. Now that can put a damper on a good time! It was a coach tour, but we made the best of it. Coach tours don’t give you much free time to explore.
That sounds like very accurate Nova Scotia weather 😂
Hello Granny Pat!
P.S. please tell us again where we can purchase your special shirts and mugs with your logo. Thank you! ♥️

Rewatching your video while watching Pluto TV air Funny Face with Audrey and Fred. Why on earth is regular TV so vulgar now a days.
Look forward to seeing new video of ya 🤗
Edit this stating I didn't know there was a THIRTY YEAR DIFFERENCE between Fred and Audrey 😮
Don't change your appearance or hairstyle. We like you just the way you are.
You so cute …..
I have a sweet tooth every night Granny Pat. Im on a diet now. Richard in England
